Product Usage Instructions:
Introduction
The Ritz Fall Protection Suspension Intolerance Strap is designed to combat
the ill effects of Suspension Trauma for a victim of a fall while waiting for
rescue.
Application
To avoid the effects of Suspension Trauma, use the Ritz Fall Protection
Suspension Intolerance Strap with a compatible harness provided by Ritz Fall
Protection.
Inspection
Regularly inspect the strap before each use to ensure it shows no signs of
damage. Only use if it passes inspection.
Steps to Use:
- Un-zip the pouches fitted on both sides of the harness.
- Hold the 2 straps together.
- Connect the straps with each other to form a loop using the buckle.
- Put your feet into the loop and stand onto it.
- Adjust the sit strap towards the front for proper posture.
Limitation
Personal property of the user, avoid highly acidic or basic environments.
Repair
If damaged, do not use. Repair by the manufacturer or an approved repair
center/individual.
Withdrawal from Use
If used to arrest a fall, return for servicing and retest.
Storage and Transport:
Store away from acidic or basic environments, avoid placing heavy items on
top of it, store in a dry environment.
Disposal
Dispose of the strap if unfit or damaged by segregating components and

Please read and understand the manufacturer’s instructions for each component
or part of the complete system. Manufacturer’s instructions must be followed
for proper use, care, and maintenance of this product. These instructions must
be retained and be kept available for the user’s reference at all times.
Alterations or misuse of this product, or failure to follow instructions, may
result in serious injury or death.

INTRODUCTION
Care by Ritz Fall Protection even after a Fall !
The Ritz Fall Protection Suspension Intolerance Strap can be used by a victim
of fall to combat ill effects of Suspension Trauma, while he waits for his
rescue, suspended in his harness.
APPLICATION
To avoid the effects of Suspension Trauma with the use of Ritz Fall Protection
Suspension Intolerance Strap.
UNIQUE FEATURES:

INSPECTION
Regular Inspection is recommended prior to using this with harness.
It can be used on numerous occasions if it has been inspected prior to use and
shows no sign of damage.
PRECAUTIONS
- Ensure the Medical condition of the user does not affect his safety in normal and emergency use.
- The equipment shall only be used by a person trained and competent in its safe use.
- A rescue plan shall be in place to deal with any emergencies that could arise during the work.
- Ensure that the equipment is compatible with other items when assembled into a system.
- It is essential to verify free space required beneath the user at work place before each occasion of use so that in case of a fall there will be no collision with ground or other obstacle in the fall path.

STEPS TO USE
LIMITATION
- It should be the personal property of the user.
- It should not be used in highly acidic or basic environments.
REPAIR: If the product becomes damaged, it will NOT provide the optimum level of protection, and therefore should be immediately either replaced or repaired. Never use the damaged product. Repair is permitted, provided that it is either done by the manufacturer or a competent repair center or individual approved by the manufacturer.
WITHDRAWAL FROM USE:
If the system has been used to arrest a fall, it should be removed from
service and returned to the manufacturer or a competent repair center for
servicing and re test.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
In case of minor soiling, wipe the product with cotton cloth or a soft brush. Do not use any abrasive material. For intensive cleaning wash the product in water at a temperature between 30ºC to 60ºC by using a neutral detergent (pH 7). The washing temperature should not exceed 60ºC. Do not use acid or basic detergents.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORT: When not in use, store the product away from heavily acidic or basic environment. Never place heavy items on top of it. Also ensure that it is stored away from chemically hazardous environment preferably storage should be in dry environment.
HOW TO DISPOSE OF A SUSPENSION INTOLERANCE STRAP:
When the suspension intolerance strap becomes unfit or in case of any wear and
tear, dispose it immediately.
Follow the following steps for disposal:
- Segregate the equipment in three different crates for placing components in them respectively as- Textile, Metal and Plastic.
- Spread the suspension intolerance strap on a table / flat surface.
- Inspect the wear & tear present on the suspension intolerance strap.
- If any wear and tear is observed, dispose the suspension intolerance strap using a sharp scissors; first cut the Textile and dismantle the suspension intolerance strap.
- Put the Textile, Plastic & Metal components in their respective plastic crates.
- Once segregation done, arrange to send them for recycling or disposal (as appropriate) through authorized agencies as per local or national law.
WARNING
- Do not make any alterations or additions to the equipment without the manufacturer’s prior written consent and that any repair shall only be carried out by personnel trained by the manufacturer & duly authorized by him.
- The equipment shall not be used outside its limitation, or for any purpose other than that for which it is intended.

All Ritz Fall Protection products bear 1- year warranty against manufacturing defects, applicable to unused Ritz Fall Protection products, from the date of purchase. However, Ritz Fall Protection
shall not be liable for any accident or damage while the product is in use.
LIFESPAN: The estimated product Lifespan of this product is 10- years
from the date of manufacturing. The following factors can reduce the Lifespan
of the product : intense use, contact with chemical substances, especially
aggressive environment, extreme temperature exposure, UV exposure, abrasion,
cuts, violent impacts, bad use, or maintenance.
