Download and install the Livn app

A more detailed explanation with pictures and an overview of the functions can be found in the online manual at https://www.livn.nl/smart.

Download the free Livn app from the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store or scan the QR code on the right.
Open the Livn app and press the ‘Sign up’ button. Carefully read the user agreement and privacy policy and click on ‘Agree’.
Create an account and enter a valid email address and click on ‘Get verification code’.
Enter the verification code, choose a password and click on ‘Agree’. Then give your permission for; ‘allow messages’, ‘Bluetooth’ and ‘location services’. These functions are required to have the app work properly.

Functions on the Livn fireplace

Make sure that the plug is inserted in the socket and that the main switch (Manual Switch) is on.
For EZ Mode, keep the appliance’s Wi-Fi Button pressed for 3 seconds until you hear three beeps; the fuel bed starts to flash red quickly. For AP Mode, keep the appliance’s Wi-Fi Button pressed for 3 seconds until you hear three beeps, and press for another 5 seconds until you hear five beeps; the fuel bed starts to flash red slowly.

Functions in the Livn app

Make sure that your mobile is connected to your 2,4 GHz Wi-Fi network ( ). When your mobile is connected to your home Wi-Fi, in the app click on ‘Add appliance’ or click top right on the plus sign.
Select ‘Electric Fireplace’.
Select the Wi-Fi connection with which you are now connected, enter your Wi-Fi password and click on ‘Next’.
You can install your fireplace using either EZ Mode (Easy Installation Method) or AP Mode.
Choose the desired setup method in the top right corner of the app: EZ Mode (TIP!), or AP Mode.
In the screen you will see “Reset the device first”. Confirm the indicator is blinking quickly (EZ Mode) or confirm the indicator is blinking slowly (AP Mode), and click “Next”.
EZ Mode (Easy Setup): proceed to step 16.
AP Mode: connect to the fireplace’s Wi-Fi connection. To do this, press the ‘Go to Connect’ button.
Connect with the fireplace: ‘Smart life -xxx’. If your telephone says that no internet connection is available on the selected Wi-Fi network, press ‘Accept/Preserve connection’.
After you have made a connection with the fireplace, go back to the Livn app. You then see that the product is added to the app (‘Add appliance…’).
When the fireplace is connected to the app, you will see the ‘Successfully added’ message, and the colour of the fuel bed changes from red to green. If the colour of the fuel bed turns blue, just repeat the previous operation for app connection until the fuel bed turns green.
Then give the fireplace a name of your choice so you can easily distinguish the fireplace. Congratulations, your fireplace is installed in the app!
