Note: Please take out the battery before power on the printer, tear off the tips sticker on the battery, then take back the battery to the printer.
4.Operational Guidelines
4.1 Starting Up
Power off status, press the “Power” button 2 seconds, heard a ” click ‘ , the printer boots and enters working status, display screen/indicator lights light up.
4.2 Power Off
Starting up status, press the “Power button 2 seconds, heard two “clicks” the printer shuts down , all indicators extinguished.
4.3 Self-test
Self test methods as following:
*With OLED display screen, power off status, press the button 2 seconds which is under the “Power” button, shows system menu,
choose option of “printing self test” and clicks, the printer will automatically print out self test page, self test pages will contain current
status and printing examples of the printer.
- With indicator lights, press “Power” button and “Feed” button, the printer will automatically print out self test page, self test pages will contain current status and printing examples of the printer.
Receipt and barcode switchover and self test functions
(You should tell us whether demands on barcodes? )
Press the “Power” button, operation for receipt is same as above
Label operation: put in roll of label, press “Power” button to start up, and
then press “Power” button 2 seconds, the label paper
adjusts space, now label adjustment finished, press “Feed” button, it will
print out a page.
Receipt operation: put in thermal paper, press Power” button, and then press
“Power” button 2seconds, thermal paper automatically
adjusts, now label adjustment finished, press “Feed” button, it prints out a
page. Thermal paper and label can switch to use.
4.4 OLED and buzzing signals description
Display screen left flashes shows Bluetooth, right shows battery electric
quantity, press the button 2 seconds which is under “Power”
button, shows system menu, choose the setting you want by right of display
screen of ”right” and “left” button. When power off, long
buzz from printer, and short buzz when starting up
Indicator lights: Red light shows power, Green light shows absence of paper and battery charging: Blue light shows connection status of bluetooth.
4.5 Handset app Bluetooth connection operation
Open handset Bluetooth, find the name of MTP-3-2(Android version), MTP-3-4(Apple version), click to match, matching password
0000, shows matching OK, then open APP of handset, connect to matched printers, then you can click on the printing operation. App name: caysnprinter
4.6 Printer USB connect to PC operation
Install Windows driver then use USB to connect the computer, Open POS driver,
choose corresponding printer POS58 series or POS80 series, choose correct port
(How to find your port: Open ‘My computer’, right-hand button choose
‘Management’, choose
‘Device management’, choose ‘Port’, Baud rate chooses 9600, flow control
chooses ‘XonXoff’, then click ‘OK
Open control panel of computer, choose ‘Device and printer’, find installed
printer, right-hand button ‘Printer property’, choose ‘Port’,
check port right or wrong(if wrong, click right port and click apply), then
choose ‘Regular’, click ‘printing test page’, the printer will automatically
print out test page.
