Charge and Discharge
-
Standard Charge:
The battery is charged with a constant current of 0.2C to 7.3V. When the charging current gradually decreases, itis charged with a constant voltage of 7.3V until the current decreases to 0.02C. The charging time is about 6.0 hours. No permanent damage to rechargeable batteries within 0°C-45’C. -
Standard Discharge:
Battery shall be discharged at a constant current of 0.2C to 5V @254+2°. -
Rest Period:
If no otherwise specified, the rest time between Charge and Discharge amount to 30min.
Precautions
- The charging current must not exceed the specified maximum charging current of 4A.
- The charging voltage shall not exceed the specified rated voltage of 7.3V.
- Thebattery shallbe charged within 0C~45T range in the Product Specification.
- Reverse charge is prohibited. The battery shall be connected correctly.
- The discharge current shall not exceed the specified maximum discharge current of 10A.
- The battery shall be discharged within -20’°C ~60°C range specified in the Product Specification.
- Inorder to prevent over-discharge, the battery shall be charged periodically to maintain between 6 and 6.4V.
- Before fast charging, the battery pack should be pre-charged with a small current (0.01C} for 15~30 minutes, so that the voltage of (each) cellreaches 2.5V or more, and then fast charging.
