MIRR EDGE 15260 Clear Plastic Traditional Mirror Frame Kit

Tools Required

• Utility Razor Knife
• Measuring Tape
• Liquid Nails Model No. LN-700 (SOLD SEPARATELY)

Installation Steps

1. Remove paper backing from framing strips.
2. Measure and record existing mirror to full height.
3. Mark front of framing strip the mirror height.
4. Using a utility knife, firmly score along front of framing strips along mark.
5. Firmly grip the strip with score line between two hands. Then quickly bend down and SNAP! Breaking the strip at the desired measurement. Or SNAP the strip on the edge of a table surface.
6. Apply tape squares along back of strips. Peel off paper on tape squares. Apply small dabs of Liquid Nails LN-700 Adhesive Glue in between tape squares.
7. Install vertical strips onto mirror along the edge. Re-measure between vertical strips and cut horizontal strips to size. Install horizontal strips.
8. Peel off paper backing of Corner Plates. Apply tape squares and adhesive glue.
9. Apply Corner Plates on top of installed framing strips in all corners.

Additional Notes

• Optional Seam Cover Plates (Sold Separately) are used to hide seams when using multiple strips for mirror sizes exceeding 60″.
• ONLY USE LIQUID NAILS ADHESIVE LN-700 (Sold Separately).
• DO NOT USE CLEANERS CONTAINING AMMONIA!
• REMOVE CLEAR PROTECTIVE COVERING FROM STRIPS AND PLATES AFTER INSTALLATION*

• Can I use any adhesive for installing the MirrEdge framing strips?
  • No, you must only use Liquid Nails Model No. LN-700 as specified in the instructions.
• Are the tools required for installation included with the MirrEdge system?
  • No, the utility razor knife and measuring tape are not included. The Liquid Nails adhesive is sold separately.
• Is the MirrEdge system made in the USA?
  • Yes, it is manufactured by Millennium International Development Corporation in Boca Raton, Florida, and is made in the USA.
• Can I clean the installed MirrEdge strips with ammonia-based cleaners?
  • No, do not use cleaners containing ammonia on the MirrEdge strips.
• When should I remove the clear protective covering from the strips and plates?
  • The clear protective covering should be removed from the strips and plates after installation.
