CAUTIONS:
- It is important to use the 5th Support Arm for some models to provide extra stability when storing your hardtop on the LiftnGo. The 5th Support Arm should be attached after removing your hardtop.(NOTE: The 5th Support Arm must be used for 4-door Jeep models. It can be used for some 2-door Jeep and 4-door Bronco models, depending on the size/configuration of the top).
- Be sure the wheels are locked to ensure the lift is secured in place when storing your hardtop on the LiftnGo.
- Do not store the LiftnGo outdoors.
- Keep children away from the LiftnGo when in use for storing your hardtop.
- Use the LiftnGo on level ground with a smooth surface. A slight incline or decline can be acceptable. 6. NEVER push on the hardtop or attempt to adjust its position with your hands when using the LiftnGo. (NOTE: When the LiftnGo is in use, all movement of the hardtop should be done using the LiftnGo). 7.
- The hardtop must be 100% clear of your Jeep/Bronco before wheeling the LiftnGo out.
Usage Instructions
- For Jeeps: Remove both (2) Freedom Panels. For Broncos: Remove all three (3) Freedom Panels.
- Unsecure the bolts on each side of the hardtop above the driver and passenger seats.
- Open the cargo door and lift the rear window completely.
- Unscrew all Torx bolts that fasten the hardtop in the cargo area.
- Detach the electrical connection in the driver’s side rear cargo area and the washer fluid.
- Wheel the LiftnGo into the center of the rear cargo area; make sure all 4 Support Posts are positioned low enough to allow them to clear under the top window frame ridge.
- (NOTE: the 5th Support Arm SHOULD NOT be attached to the LiftnGo at this time. You will attach the 5th Support Arm later in the process).
- Turn the Easy Handle until all 4 Support Posts engage with the hardtop, making sure they are secure. 8. Turn the Easy Handle until the Hardtop is lifted enough to clear the entire Jeep/Bronco structure. (NOTE: It is best to lift your hardtop evenly. To ensure an even lift, the Support Posts can be arranged to different heights for hardtop interiors that are not flat).
- Be sure to raise the LiftnGo high enough so the bottom of the Support Posts clear the rear gate when rolling the LiftnGo backward. (NOTE: the lift has a self-braking jack mechanism, so you can let go of the Easy Handle anytime, and the LiftnGo will not drop or lower).
- After you have removed the hardtop and moved it away from your vehicle, attach the 5th Support Arm to the LiftnGo for extra stability when you are using the lift for hardtop storage. (NOTE: see #1 under Cautions for more information on whether or not the 5th Support Arm is necessary for your particular model).
- When storing your hardtop on the LiftnGo, lower the Lifting Jack for extra stability
