Product Usage Instructions

  1. Connect the HDMI input source to the HDMI In port.
  2. If using external audio, connect the audio source to the 3.5mmV Audio In port.
  3. Connect the USB 3.0 output to your computer.
  4. The Power Indicator LED will light up when the device is connected.
  5. The USB 3.0 Out LED Indicator will show the status of the output.
  6. Note : When both HDMI IN and AUDIO IN are plugged, external audio input will take priority.

OPERATION INSTRUCTION

The UC1218 HDMI to USB3.0 Video Capture is based on UVC (USB video class) and UAC (USB audio class) standard. No additional drivers have to be installed. After installation in the operating system, the relevant video and audio devices will be added. In the Windows Device Manager, for example, will appear two new devices:

  • Under Imaging Devices: AVMATRIX USB Capture Video
  • Under Audio inputs and outputs: AVMATRIX USB Capture Audio

Use a third-party Video Media Player like PotPlayer, OBS, or Windows Media Player to play and store the captured video content.
