Thank you for purchasing this fine decorative fountain. This product combines our latest design with a creative theme and is carefully packaged, inspected, and tested to ensure safe operation. The following instructions and safety guidelines will enable you to use the product for trouble-free operation. Please read the instructions and safety guidelines entirely before using the product. The product consists of: (1) Fountain Top (2) Reservoir (3) Solar Pump

Instructions for use

1. Remove plastic bags from packaging. Read this instruction sheet before proceeding.
2. Place base on a flat surface and insert the reservoir onto the base.
3. Read user manual. Insert the water pump into the water tube.
4. Insert fountain top on the reservoir and put the pump into the water. Water should be higher than the pump.
5. Ensure the water tube is properly connected to the pump and not crimpled.
6. The concave edge of the fountain top should adhere to the convex part of the reservoir. Be sure that the electric wire is passed through the wire opening.
7. Connect the power cable to the outlet. If installed properly, water flow in the fountain will begin shortly.
8. When the battery is fully charged and without any sunlight input, the pump will run for around 6-8 hours. If with strong sunlight input, usually could run for more than 8 hours.
9. Please do not use it in adverse weather conditions.

Please note : There may be air in the pump on first use. It may take several minutes until all the air escapes.

Safety Guidelines

1. Read all instructions and safety guidelines thoroughly. Failure to follow guidelines and instructions could result in serious injury and/or property damage.
2. Do not pump flammable liquids such as gasoline or fuel oil with the fountain pump.
3. Make sure the water tube is properly connected with the pump and the upper layer, and the tube is not crimpled. This could cause a blockage, and water will not come out.
4. During operation, the area around the pump will be covered with water. Take care when handling the pump; do not pull it out of the water (when running) by the power cord, and do not move the product while in operation.
5. To the solar pump to operate, the solar panel needs to be in direct sunlight. This solar pump is equipped with a battery pack and can be switched on and off by a touch switch on the control box.

Cleaning and Maintenance

1. If, after time, the pump starts to lose power or stops working, you should check for the build-up of sediment or scale at the bottom of the pump housing, or in the reservoir.
2. Remove the blockage or any dirt and scale which may have built up and close the case back up.
3. Periodically change the water and keep it clean. We recommend distilled water to prevent mineral build-up. This will improve the waterfall effect.
