Motion Function of the PIR Motion Sensor Version Product
- Normal Mode: Switch ON-OFF-ON within 2 seconds, the wall lantern will keep glowing all the time.
- High Mode: The wall lantern will automatically turn on (30% brightness) at dusk. If someone passes by, it will reach 100% brightness automatically.
- Low Mode: If someone passes by at dusk, the light will automatically turn on (100% brightness). If there is no motion sensing, it is in the off state.
Procedure
Please plug in a light at the power outlet and the light will become bright. 3 following things will happen when you press the “TEST” button:
- a. If wired correctly, the GFCI’s “RESET” button should pop up and the light will go off. Please press the “RESET” button to restore power after the light goes off.
- b. If the “RESET” button pops up but the light is still on, it must be a wiring error. Please contact an electrician to make it right.
- c. If the “RESET” button doesn’t pop up, it means that the GFCI is defective and needs to be replaced promptly.
Features
2 The GFC I’s features
CAUTION: Please read the instructions carefully and turn the electricity off at the main circuit breaker panel before beginning installation.
- Must be installed per national and local electrical codes. When installed outdoors, or in wet locations, the edge of the wall plate coming in contact with the mounting surface, must be sealed with a latex waterproof caulking to prevent water from entering the outlet box. The weatherproof cover will protect the GFCI receptacle from rainwater.
- Use this GFCI receptacle with copper or coppe-clad wire. Don’t use it with aluminium wire.
- Don’t install the GFCI receptacle on a circuit for powering life support equipment. If the GFCI trips, it will shut down the equipment.
TEST YOUR WORK Why:
- If you miswire the GFC it may not prevent personal injury or death due to a ground fault(electrical shock).
- If you mistakenly connect the LINE wires to the LOAD terminals, the GFCI will not reset and will not provide power to either the GFCI receptacle or any receptacles fed from the GFCI.
Installation Step
- Step 1. Take out the mounting plate behind the wall lantern, and then use a Phillips screwdriver to fix the mounting plate.
- Step 2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to secure screws to the wall lantern.
