INSTALLATION STEPS

Solepearl Thermostatic Shower Mixer

  1. wrap PTFE tape to the offset connectors and fix to the wall pipe.(Inlet pipework should be at 150mm pipe centers.)
  2. fix the ornament covers to the offset connectors.
  3. keep at the same level
  4. put the gaskets into the hex nuts, then fix the shower mixer to the offset connectors.
    Note! Connections are Hot-left, Cold-right.
    This is very important as this product does no tallow for reverse.

FAULT ANALYSIS AND TROUBLESHOOTING

1 Water too hot or too cold 1.1nlets are reversed – Check connections.

2.Filters are blocked – Check filters.
3.Water supply is not balanced – Check supply pressure is balanced.

replacement thermostatic valve cartridge. (It is reasonable for the deviation value of the setting water temperature and actual water temperature to bet 3°C )
3| Low flow| 1.Filters are blocked – check filters
2.1solation valve is closed – check valves.
3.5upply pressure too low – check the supply is above 0.5 bar.
4| Water is leaking/Cannot turn off| 1.Seals worn or damaged
– Request seller customer service.
OS| Water flows from both sides when switching from shower to bath| 1.Divertor leaked – Request seller customer service for renew divertor replacement.

NOTE!
Connections:

  • Hot – Left (side nearest flow control). Identified with a RED mark
  • Cold – Right (side nearest temperature control). Identified with a BLUE mark
  • Shower Valve Outlet (connect shower hose).

Suitable Plumbing Systems

  • Gravity Fed: The thermostatic mixer must be fed from a cold water cistern (usually fitted in the loft space) and a hot water cylinder (usually fitted in the airing cupboard) providing nominally equal pressures.
  • Gas Heated System: The thermostatic mixer can be installed with a combination boiler.
  • Unvented Mains Pressure System: The thermostatic mixer can be installed with an unvented, stored hot water system.
  • Mains Pressurized Instantaneous Hot Water System: The thermostatic mixer can be installed with systems of this type with balanced pressures.
