Product Usage Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare for Installation
- Follow vehicle manufacturer recommendations. Use a properly rated jack to lift the rear of the truck and support the frame rails with jack stands. Remove the rear wheels.
- Step 2: Remove OEM Bump Stops
- Using a 12mm deep socket, remove the OEM bump stop located on the frame rail above the rear axle tube. There are 2 bolts for each bump stop.
- Step 3: Clean Frame
- Use a scraper to clean any mud or debris from the frame where the bump stops will be installed.
- Step 4: Install Rear DuroBumps
- Your rear DuroBumps are side-specific. Ensure the Driver/Passenger decal is facing outward and the large notch in the bump stop faces the rear of the vehicle.
- Insert the flange bolt into the mounting hole and use a 12mm socket wrench to mount DuroBumps in the OEM location until snug. Do not over-tighten.
- Step 5: Repeat for the Other Side
- Repeat steps 2 – 4 on the other side of the vehicle.
- Step 6: Complete Installation
- Reinstall the wheels and lower the vehicle back to the ground. Torque lug nuts to factory specifications.
- Now your vehicle is ready for some off-road adventures or city cruising!

Tools Required
- Jack & Jack Stands
- 12mm socket wrench
- 19mm deep socket wrench Or Lug wrench
- Scraper or wire brush to clean debris
- Torque wrench
Instructions
- Step 1: Following vehicle manufacturer recommendations use a properly rated jack. Lift the rear of the truck with a floor jack and support the frame rails with jack stands. Remove the rear wheels. Be sure to use jack stands!
- Step 2: Remove the OEM bump stop located on the frame rail above the rear axle tube using a 12mm deep socket. There are 2 bolts for each bump stop.
- Step 3: Take a scraper and clean any mud/ debris from the frame.
- Step 4: Your rear DuroBumps are side specific. Each of the DuroBumps has a Driver/Passenger side sticker attached denoting their respective sides of the vehicle. Please note Driver/Passenger decal should be facing outward and the large notch in the bump stop faces the rear of the vehicle. Insert the flange bolt into the mounting hole of the Durobumps. Mount Durobumps in OEM location using a 12mm socket wrench until snug. Do not over-tighten.
- Step 5: Repeat steps 2 – 4 on the other side.
- Step 6: Reinstall the wheels and lower the vehicle back to the ground. Torque lug nuts to Factory specifications.
