Product Usage Instructions

Long press the “Up” and “Down” at the same time to switch Prezi Mode.

Function Description

  1. Open Microsoft PowerPoint and PowerPoint files.
  2. Press the “Page Up” button for 2 seconds to play slides from the current page. Press the button for 2 seconds again to escape from the full screen.
  3. Press the “Page Down” button and “Page Up” button to go forward and backward.
  4. Press and hold Pointer button to turn ii on, and the release button to tum ii off.
  5. If hyperlinks exist on the page, click the button, you can jump among the hyperlinks and double click can be used to open the hyperlink.
  6. After the hyperlink is opened, you can press and hold button to switch between all opened application windows. Release ii to turn to the window you want to switch to.

Installation

  1. Take out the use receiver from the wireless presenter.
    Push the power switch to on position; you can press any button to check whether the power is on or not. If the LED is flashing when the button is pressed, it means the wireless presenter is turned on.

  2. Take out the receiver.

  3. Plug the receiver into the USB port

  4. Operate the use receiver
    Please plug the receiver into the laptop’s USB port. The system will automatically detect the device. Follow the steps to search the driver of the USB device and complete the setup.

  5. Operate the wireless presenter

  6. Turn off the wireless presenter
    After use, please put the USB receive back into the wireless presenter and turn off the power switch on the left.

Recharging the wireless presenter
Connect the wireless presenter to a USB port of laptop or a USB port of a mobile phone charger via a USB cable, the red LED will stop flashing and keep red to show the wireless presenter is being recharged. If the red LED turns off, it means the recharge is completed. Normally the recharging time is about two hours.

How to code
This presenter has been coded successfully when leave the factory. In a normal situation, user does not need to code it. In addition to the situations as follows:
the pointer works normally and receiver can also be identified by the computer, but the transmitter does not work and cannot control your PC. In this case, it is possible that the receiver does not correctly save the address code and cannot receive the signal from the transmitter.

Therefore, user must code the presenter again. In order to code, please operate as follows

  • Open a PowerPoint file on your computer.
  • Press and hold the Page Down key and turn on the power switch, now the LED indicator keeps on, then, plug your USB receiver into the PC,when you see the powerPoint on the computer screen turn pages rapidly, now coding is successful.

A pointer beam can cause permanent damage to ayes. Do not look into the beam or shine the beam into your eyes, other people’s eyes, or pet’s eyes. Keep this device away from Children.  This is a working tool, not a toy. It should only be used by adults. FAQ

Q: Can I use the XYZ-5000 for both wet and dry applications?

A: Yes, the XYZ-5000 is suitable for both wet and dry tasks. Simply adjust the settings accordingly.

Q: How often should I clean the filters?

A: It is recommended to clean the filters after every few uses or when you notice a decrease in suction power.

How to know the battery is out of power?

If there is no beam emitted when you click the pointer key; ii means your battery runs out, please charge it immediately. Excessive discharge will severely shorten the useful life of lithium battery.

How do I know if the charging is completed?

When you charge your wireless presenter by a computer, please make sure the computer is switched on. Red LED on means it being charged; Red LED off means the charging completed.

The pointer does not work, why?

Firstly you need to turn on the power. Secondly, you can check whether the wireless presenter is in low power or out of power. If all the other buttons can work, only the pointer cannot work, the pointer diode may need replacement.

When Iha use receiver plugs into the PC use, the laptop does not detect the device, why?

Please try another USB port or another PC.

The Pointer beam becomes darker and darker, what should I do?

The dark beam is usually caused by a low battery. Please recharge your battery. After charging, if the beam is still just a dark red spot, ii means the pointer module is aging. You can contact us for post-sale service.

Shortcut keys do not work or work incorrectly, what should I do?

This case may be caused by the change of shortcut keys in the operating system or applications (e.g. PowerPoint). Please check your shortcut keys selling in your system or applications, or make your data backup and then reinstall the operating system or applications.
