NUK Nature Sense Baby Glass Bottle Set

Instructions

Important: Breastfeeding is best for babies.

Preparation

When preparing feed or teas, always follow the instructions of the feed manufacturer. To retain vitamins and nutrients,
the temperatures should not exceed 60 °C. Do not microwave bottles filled with feed or water (risk of explosion/material damage). Uneven heating may result in scalding! Never heat up or cool down closed bottles (risk of explosion/material damage)! Please softly squeeze vent and drinking hole/slit before each use to ensure that it is open.
Only administer food and drink in the quantity and consistency recommended by the manufacturer. From 5 months, gradually change
your baby over to a beaker.

Cleaning bottles, teats and accessories
Before first use place in boiling water for 5 minutes, use sufficient water to avoid damage. To ensure hygiene, clean thoroughly using mild detergent and sterilise before every further use. We recommend using the NUK Steriliser for sterilisation. For boiling or steam sterilising, always dismantle the bottle into its component parts and leave it open, otherwise deformation may result. For sterilisation in a microwave oven we recommend using the NUK Microwave Sterilizer.
Please follow the instructions of the steriliser to avoid material damage! For bottles made of Polyamide (PA): These bottles are marked with the symbol“PA” and shall not be heated in a microwave oven (risk of material damage)!
When sterilising plastic bottles, please be aware of the 100 degree C maximum temperature limit (see symbol on bottle). Teats and bottles should not be cleaned in a dishwasher – dishwasher detergents can cause material damage! Certain foodstuffs (e.g. carrot juice) may discolour the material or affect its odor (e.g. fennel tea). This has no effect on the fitness for use or safety of the bottle.

**For your child’s safety and health

WARNING!
Always use this product with adult supervision. Never use feeding teats as a soother. Continuous and prolonged sucking of fluids will cause tooth decay.
This applies in particular to sweetened drinks and fruit/vegetable juices.
Always check food temperature before feeding. Always check the teat for signs of excessive wear by pulling the teat in all directions before each
use especially when the child has teeth. Replace when sticky from use, visibly damaged or showing signs of tears or bites to avoid the danger of small parts being swallowed. For safety and hygiene purposes, replace the teat after 1-2 months use. Do not expose the teat to direct sunlight/ heat or leave in disinfectants (sterilising solution) for longer than the stated time as this can damage the teat. Shelf Life: 4 years from production date  see stamp (applies when stored under dry and hygienic conditions, at room temperature, shielded from direct sunlight and other UV light sources).
Do not dip in medicine! If the bottle is damaged from the inside (e.g. by scratches), it should be replaced for hygiene reasons. Note: NUK Bottles and
Teats are only compatible with the corresponding range. Never use force to open/close the bottle. Replace the bottle if there is the slightest sign of
damage, e.g. cracking.
For glass bottles: Glass bottles may break. Do not use a metal spoon to stir the feed in the bottle – this could cause hairline cracks which could result in fracture when hot feed is poured in.

For products which include a seal or protective cap
Keep all components not in use out of the reach of children.
For LATEX teats: Produced from natural rubber latex which may cause allergic reactions.
