Automatic Gate Lock User Manual

PLEASE NOTE : Because of the various mounting applications, no mounting hardware is provided with the Automatic Gate Lock. All necessary mounting hardware can be obtained from your local hardware store; all other hardware is provided.This manual shows two examples of the most common installations, and should provide insight into most other application

Manual Lock Release

The JUJUANG automatic gate lock can be manually released. If the electric release is disabled for any reason and the gate cannot be opened, simply use the manual key to manually open the door

Installing The Gate Lock

NOTE: The Automatic Gate Lock can be installed on single and dual gate systems. Use the appropriate instructions for the system you have – SINGLE GATE or DUAL GATES.

Single Gate Installation

Disconnect gate opener by removing hairpin clip and clevis pin from the gate bracket end of the open, Disconnecting the opener will allow the gate to swing freely during installation of the gate lock.

Step 1: With the gate in the closed position, determine the best location for the lock and the lock receiver. The lock and receiver must be level and aligned with the opener. Also, the lock should have a solid surface or cross member to provide stability.

Step 2: Clamp receiver and lock together (with receiver pin hole and lock slot aligned) to the gates, mark their positions to drill receiver bolts (Illustration B and C, page 2&3). The receiver must be mounted with carriage bolts, not U-bolts, to allow lock to seat properly.

Step 3: Recheck the lock’s position and alignment, then mark its position for drilling holes. Drill the hole gate supports through the slots in the lock bracket. U-bolts and saddles can be used to mount on chain link gate supports. Secure the lock to the gate. Install clevis pin and locking cap by placing clevis pin through slots in lock receiver and hammering the clevis pin into the locking plug, secure the lock bracket and check the alignment again.

Dual the Gates Installation

Disconnect gate openers by removing the hairpin clip and clevis pin from the gate bracket end of the openers.

Disconnecting the openers will allow the gates to swing freely during installation of the gate lock.

Step 1: With the gate in the closed position, determine the best location for the lock and lock receiver. The lock and receiver must be level and aligned with the opener. Also, the lock should have a solid surface or cross member to provide stability.

Step 2: Clamp receiver and lock together (with receiver pin hole and lock slot aligned) to the gates. mark their positions to drill holes (see Illustration E and F page 4&5). The receiver must be mounted on the SLAVEGATE with carriage bolts, not U-bolts, to allow lock to seat properly.

Step 3: Recheck the lock’s position and alignment. Drill the holes on gate supports through the slots in the lock bracket. U-bolts and saddles can be used to mount the lock on chain link gate supports. Secure the lock to the MASTER GATE. Install clevis pin and locking cap by placing clevis pin through slots in lock receiver and hammering the clevis pin into the locking cap (see Illustration G), secure the lock bracket and check the alignment again .z

Wire Connection of the Lock

Connect with JUJIANG Swing Gate Opener

The electric lock can be wired to the swing gate opener control board directly, red wire connect with “LOCK NF” port, blue wire connect with “COM” port.

Connect with Other Manufacturers’ Swing Gate Opener

With the the small control board DS-33A helping, the electric lock DS-02 also can be can be wired to other brands’ swing gate opener. The Automatic Electric Lock unlocks and locks automatically as an electronic gate is activated to open and close (depend on standard 12V/24V gate outputs).

Note! Factory put the small control board DS-33A in a small white box.

II. Connect DS-33A with JUJIANG LOCK and Other Brands’ Swing Gate

Note! If the lock port of the swing gate opener control board does not distinguish between positive and negative pole, please connect 1 VCC and 2 GND of the DS-33A with control board LOCK port directly.

Working Principle of DS33A

The blue and white adjustable resistance on the board is used to adjust the delay time: The minimum is 2 seconds counterclockwise and the maximum is 6.5 seconds clockwise. When the door LOCK is working, the DS33A will power on, the relay absorbs and closes, and the delay begins. When the delay time reaches, the relay is disconnected.
