IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Before Use

  1. Use this unit only as described in this manual. Other uses not recommended may cause burns or electric shock.
  2. Please check your electricity supply is 110-120V before using the garment steamer.
  3. Always disconnect the unit from electrical outlet when filling or disposing of water as well as the reservoir is empty or the unit is not being used.
  4. No detergent or chemicals can be added into the reservoir or it will cause damage. Only water is allowed to be used.
  5. To prevent electric shock or product damage, do not immerse equipment, plugs or cords into water or spray them with liquid.
  6. After refilling, close the sealing cap and do not overfill the reservoir above 120ml.
  7. It’s not a toy. Use this unit away from pets, babies or plants and pay close attention to your surroundings to avoid damage.
  8. This product is not intended to be used by people (including children) with weak physical conditions, slow reactions, mental retardation, lack of experience, and common sense unless they are under supervision or instruction by the person who is responsible for their safety.

When Using

  1. Do not leave the unit unattended while it is in operation.
  2. To reduce the risk of contact with hot water emitting from steam vents, keep the unit away from people or pets.
  3. Steam produced by the unit is hot. Care must be taken to avoid burns or other injuries. Never point the steam nozzle at people or pets.
  4. Steam nozzle and accessory will become hot during use. To avoid injuries. Do not touch the nozzle while using this unit. Do not attempt to remove the accessory while the unit is emitting steam.
  5. When the water in the reservoir is run out, the pump is still working and this is normal, please switch off the unit and disconnect from the power outlet.

After Use

  1. The product is still hot after the power is cut off. Please leave it in a place where it is not touched to cool down for at least 30 minutes. Be careful that the nozzle plate is not covered or in contact with flammable materials.
  2. Cool completely before removing the accessories.
  3. To disconnect, grasp the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. Never drag the cord.

Getting Started

CAUTION
Please confirm the electricity supply is 110-120V. Otherwise it could cause damage or injury.

Refilling Water

  1. Remove the Reservoir by push the Release Knob upward [Fig.]]
  2. Uncover the silicone seal plug and fill water only [Fig.2]
  3. Cover the sealing plug. Place back the Reservoir. When you hear a “click”, it’s ready. [Fig.3)
  4. Push the switch upwards to ON and wait 20-25 seconds for the steam to emits. [Fig. 4]

C. Finish steaming

  1. When garment steaming is finished, push the switch downwards to OFF.
  2. Unplug the steamer, not by pulling on the cord.
  3. Place the steamer in a position where it will not be touched to cool for at least 30 minutes.

Note:

  1. Only water can be refilled and no chemicals or detergent is allowed to add in the Reservoir;
  2. Never point the steam nozzle at anyone or anything except garments.
  3. When the water in the Reservoir runs out, the pump will still operate. This is normal. Please switch off the steamer to avoid accidents or injuries;

Use of Accessories

CAUTION
Do not install the Brush Attachment on the Nozzle Plate while steam emitting The unit comes with a practical brush attachment to undust the suit and overcoat while steaming. Observe the following steps to install the accessory to the Steam NozzleROSEKM-KM-TGS001-Handheld-Garment-Steamer-

  1. Make sure the unit is turned off and no steam emitted from the Steam Nozzle.
  2. Line up the Fabric Brush into upper & lower slots of the steam nozzle plate as shown in (Fig.8).
  3. Check whether the Brush Attachment is properly installed before start the steaming jobs.
  4. After steaming, wait for cooling before removing Brush Attachment. Avoid touching the nozzle plate.

STEAMING TIPS

Steaming Linens & Fabrics
Make sure the Reservoir has already been filled and that accessory is properly installed before starting to use the steamer.

Vertical Steaming

  1. Hang the clothes on a hanger properly.
  2. IMPORTANT: The free hand grasps the tail of the garment and pull it tight (Fig 9).
  3. Place the Steam Nozzle close to the garment and steam from top to bottom.
  4. Repeat the vertical steaming motion back and forth until the creases are smoothed out.

Steaming Ironing

  1. Place the clothes or pants on a flat and heat-resistant surface.
  2. Direct the Steam Nozzle plate closely on the garment and move back & forth motion.
  3. Repeat this motion until the wrinkles is smoothed out (Fig.10).
  4. IMPORTANT: Slightly press & pull the garment against the direction of the steam ironing motion.

STORAGE

  1. Unplug the power cord and tie it up.
  2. Let the unit to cool completely.
  3. Empty and air dry the reservoir.
  4. Store the unit in a cool & dry location and away from children’s access.
