Follow the instructions below to pair your mobile device and Lockin Smart Lock.
Remove the battery cover, install four alkaline dry batteries, remove the insulation strip, and then close the battery cover.

Use 1.5V AA alkaline batteries only. Do not mix new and old batteries.

Do not use rechargeable batteries.
Long press the button of Lockin Smart Lock for about 3 seconds until you hear a “beep” sound, and you will see the green light blinks, which indicates that the device is in the pairing mode. Open the Lockin Home App and follow the steps below to complete the pairing.-
a) Tap the “+” button in the upper right corner

b) Tap Add Manually

c) Tap Lock Y1

e) Follow the prompts on the app to complete the pairing

Make sure that your mobile phone’s Bluetooth is enabled, and the Lockin Home App is allowed to access your mobile phone’s Bluetooth services.
Follow the prompts on the app to calibrate the Lockin Home App. If you have skipped the calibration or there are calibration errors, you may follow the steps below to complete the recalibration. -
a) Tap Lock Y1 on the app homepage to enter the Lock Y1 page

Follow the instructions below to pair your mobile device and the Lockin Keypad.
Remove the battery cover, install two alkaline dry batteries, and close the battery cover.
Long press the unlock button of Lockin Keypad for about 3 seconds until you hear a “beep” sound, and you will see the green lights blinking, which indicates that the device is in the pairing mode. Open the Lockin Home App and follow the steps below to complete the pairing.- a) Tap the “+” button in the upper right corner
- b) Tap Add Manually
- c) Tap Keypad P1/P1-Pro
- e) Follow the prompts on the app to complete the pairing
- Make sure that your mobile phone’s Bluetooth is enabled, and the Lockin Home App is allowed to access your mobile phone’s Bluetooth services.

Follow the instructions below to pair the lock and the Keypad.

a) Tap Lock Y1 on the app homepage to enter the Lock Y1 page
Tap the bottom of the Lock Y1 page, wait for about 5s to complete the Bluetooth connection -
c) Return to the app homepage and tap Keypad P1

e) Tap the middle of the Keypad P1/P1-Pro page, and wait for about 5s to complete the Bluetooth connection

* d) Tap the “Image” icon at the bottom of the Keypad P1 page
* e) Tap Add
* f) Select the lock
* g) Tap Start Binding
* h) Wait for about 10s to pair the lock and the Keypad

Follow the instructions below to pair your mobile device and the Lockin Wifi Bridge.
Power on the Lockin Wifi Bridge with a USB Type-C cable (with your own adapter).Image: Wifi Bridge is powered via cable and adapter
Remove the release liner of the adhesive tape on the back of the Lockin Wifi Bridge and stick it wherever you want on a desktop.
Open the Lockin Home App and follow the steps below to complete the pairing.- a) Tap the “+” button in the upper right corner
- b) Tap Add Manually
- c) Tap Wifi Bridge G1
- d) Enter a Wi-Fi name and password
- e) Wait for a few minutes for the Wifi Bridge to connect to the network, and then complete the pairing
- Only 2.4GHz Wi-Fi is supported, and 5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported.
- Note capitalization and special symbols when entering a Wi-Fi name and password.

Follow the instructions below to pair the lock/Keypad and Wifi Bridge.
- a) Tap Wifi Bridge G1 on the app homepage to enter the Wifi Bridge G1 page
- b) Tap Add existing
- c) Select Lock Y1 and Keypad P1
- d) Tap Confirm
- e) Wait for about 20s to pair the lock/Keypad and the Wifi Bridge
- f) Tap Finish

At this point, all pairing for the devices has been completed.
Unlock Methods
Note:
- When your phone is connected to Lock Y1, for security reasons, the door can only be unlocked via the app, and unlocking via Keypad is not allowed. After you exit from the app or cease to operate the app for 10s, the Keypad can be used to unlock the door again.
- If you cease to operate the app for 10s, the Bluetooth connection between the lock and your phone will be automatically severed. It is normal for a Bluetooth reconnection prompt to appear on the app.

- Solid green: unlocked/locked successfully
- Blinking green: pairing mode
- Solid red: unlock failure/lock failure
- Blinking red: low battery warning/locked rotor warning

- Blinking pink and blue alternately: unpaired
- Solid pink: paired and connected to the network
- Solid blue: paired but not connected to the network

- The indicator light is blinking red: low battery warning
- The numeric keypad is blinking green: pairing mode
- The numeric keypad is in solid green: correct password/press the close button
- The numeric keypad is in solid red: wrong password

FAQs and Solutions

What should I do when the device cannot be bound?
Reinstall the Lockin Home App, make sure that your mobile phone’s Bluetooth is enabled and that the Lockin Home App is allowed to access your mobile phone’s Bluetooth service, power on the device again and bind it with your mobile phone on the Lockin Home App. -
What should I do when the Wifi Bridge cannot connect to the network successfully?
A) Long press the Wifi Bridge button for about 10s until the indicator light is off for about 1s, and then the Wifi Bridge will be restored and reset
B) Follow the pairing instructions above to re-pair the Wifi Bridge -
How to restore to factory settings?
Lockin Smart Lock Y1: The device is restored to factory settings when it is unbound. There is no restore to factory settings button. Lockin Keypad P1/P1-Pro: The device is restored to factory settings when it is unbound. There is no restore to factory settings button. Lockin Wifi Bridge G1: The device is restored to factory settings when it is
unbound. You can long press the Wifi Bridge button for about 10s until the indicator light is off for about 1s to unbind the device.- The device will be restored to factory settings and automatically unlocked only when the following two conditions are met:
- The device has been unbound via the Lockin Home App.
- Lockin Home App is able to communicate with the device via Bluetooth.

What should I do when the lock or keypad stops working after working for a while?
Please take out the batteries to power off the device for about 2 minutes, and then install new AA alkaline dry batteries. Do not mix new and old batteries, or use rechargeable batteries. -
What can I do when the door cannot be unlocked via the Keypad?

Check whether the password is correct or whether it has expired.
-
Check whether the Keypad is too distant from the lock. It is recommended that the distance between the Keypad and the lock should not exceed 3m.

When your phone is connected to Lock Y1, for security reasons, the door can only be unlocked via the app, and unlocking via Keypad is not allowed.

What can I do when the app asks for Bluetooth reconnection?
If you cease to operate the app for 10s, the Bluetooth connection between the lock and your phone will be automatically severed. It is normal for a Bluetooth reconnection prompt to appear on the app
