Installation

Installation of G30 Smart Lock
The installation steps can be viewed by scanning the following QR code for video instructions.

Installation of G30 Keypad
First, drill holes or fix the keypad button plate to the wall with adhesive. Then fix the keypad on the bottom plate.

Installation of G30 Wi-Fi Bridge
Remove the release liner of the adhesive tape on the Wi-Fi Bridge back and stick it wherever you want.

Pairing Guide

Pairing of G30 Smart Lock
First, download the Lockin Home app and sign in or create an account. You can either scan the QR code below, or search for “Lockin Home” in your Apple App Store or Google Play.



Now remove the battery cover, remove the insulation strip, and then close the battery cover. Use 1.5V AA alkaline batteries only. Do not mix new and old batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries

After downloading and installing the Lockin Home app, open the homepage of the app and register for an account before first use.


To add a device, log in to your account and open the app. Then, click on the “+” icon loc ted in the upper right corner of the page. Next, enter the device adding page, select the icon of the device to be added, and follow the corresponding prompts to operate.



Complete the binding of the Lock, Keypad, and Wi-Fi Bridge devices in order according to the above operations.

After the lock is successfully bound, it will automatically jump to the lock calibration page. Calibration is necessary before the first use of the lock. If you exit the calibration interface, you can re-enter the calibration page through the following methods.

  • European standard one-piece lock body: Rotate the knob or key to move the deadbolt and the latch.
  • European standard push-lock body: Rotate the knob or key, you can move the deadbolt, cannot move the latch.

Choose the corresponding calibration method according to the type of lock. During calibration, you can calibrate with or without installing a door sensor. If calibrated without a door sensor, the lock cannot detect the open/close state of the door, but the lock’s open/close function can still be used normally

Pairing of G30 Keypad
To associate the Keypad with the Lock, select “Keypad Management” on the lock’s
homepage, and then select the Keypad to be associated with the lock.

Pairing of G30 Wi-Fi Bridge
To add a device to the Wi-Fi Bridge, open the gateway interface and select “Add device”. Then select the already bound Lock and Keypad.

Device Factory Reset
First, open the Lock interface, select the edit icon in top right corner and click on “Remove device”. When the device is successfully reset to factory settings, it will make a beep sound. At this time, the device can be re-bound.

Voice Control
To bind the G30 Smart Lock with Alexa and Google Assistant, first add the Lock to the G30 Wi-Fi Bridge. Then, on the Lockin Home app homepage, select “Me” and click “Alexa” or “Google Assistant” to bind your Amazon and Google accounts. Once the binding is complete, you can use voice commands to lock and unlock the lock, for example:

  • Alexa, lock G30 Smart Lock.”
  • “Alexa, unlock G30 Smart Lock.”
  • “Hey Google, lock G30 Smart Lock.”
  • “Hey Google, unlock G30 Smart Lock.”

Function Description

Notes:

  • When your phone is connected to G30 Smart Lock, for security reasons, the door can only be unlocked via the app, and unlocking via Keypad is not allowed. After you exit from the app or cease to operate the app for 10 seconds, the Keypad can be used to unlock the door again.
  • If you cease to operate the app for 10 seconds, the Bluetooth connection between the lock and your phone will be automatically severed. It is normal for a Bluetooth reconnection prompt to appear on the app.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do when the device cannot be paired?

  • Reinstall Lockin Home app, make sure that your mobile phone’s Bluetooth is enabled and that the Lockin Home app is allowed to access your mobile phone’s Bluetooth service, power on the device again, and bind it with your mobile phone on the Lockin Home app.

What should I do when the Wi-Fi Bridge cannot connect to the network successfully?

  • Long press the Wi-Fi Bridge for about 10 seconds until the indicator light is off for about a second, and then the Wi-Fi Bridge will be restored and reset.
  • Follow the pairing instructions above to re-pair the Wi-Fi Bridge.

What can I do when the door cannot be unlocked via the Keypad?

  • Check whether the password is correct or whether it has expired. Check whether the Keypad is too distant from the lock. It is recommended that the distance between the Keypad and the lock should not exceed 3 metres.
  • When your phone is connected to G30 Smart Lock, for security reasons, the door can only be unlocked via the app, and unlocking via Keypad is not allowed. After you exit the app or cease to operate the app for 10 seconds, the Keypad can be used to unlock the door again.

What can I do when the app asks for Bluetooth reconnection?

  • If you cease to operate the app for 10 seconds, the Bluetooth connection between the lock and your phone will be automatically severed. It is normal for a Bluetooth reconnection prompt to appear on the app.

What can I do if the lock and keypad cannot be linked/delinked?

  • Remove the lock and keypad from the gateway if they are both bound to the gateway.
  • Please check if both lock and keypad have established Bluetooth connection with your phone if they are not bound to the gateway.
