Product Usage Instructions
Installation
- Remove the cover as shown in the instructions.
- Strip cables back to the appropriate lengths, ensuring that the EARTH cable is 8mm longer than the LIVE and NEUTRAL cables.
- Push the lever downwards and offer the cable into the terminal, ensuring no stray wire strands.
- Release the lever to grip the cables securely, making sure they cannot be easily pulled out.
- Press the cables into the clamps.
- Replace the cover onto the connector and lock it into place.
CT105-F & CT115-F (Female) Socket
For fixed wiring supply.
- To remove the cover, ensure the locking pins are in the unlock position, then pinch on each side and remove them.
- Strip the cables to lengths as follows: Outer sheath 30mm, Inner conductors 12mm.
CT105-M (Male) Plug
For appliance/load only. Right Cable Entry.
- To remove the cover, ensure the locking pins are in the unlock position, then pinch on each side and remove them.
- Strip the cables to lengths as follows: Outer sheath 30mm, Inner conductors 12mm.

FAQ
- Q: Can I use the installation couplers for connections with a load?
- A: No, installation couplers are intended for connection and disconnection without a load only.
- Q: What are the colour codes for the Live, Earth, and Neutral wires?
- A: For CT105-F and CT115-F: Live – Brown Wire, Earth – Yellow/Green Wire, Neutral – Blue Wire. For CT105-M: Neutral – Blue Wire, Earth – Yellow/Green Wire, Live – Brown Wire.
PREPARATION
- Before commencing any electrical work, ensure the mains isolator on the consumer unit/fuse board is in the ‘OFF’ position, to prevent the possibility of electric shock.
- This product should be installed by a qualified electrician, and in wired accordance with the IEE Wiring Regulations.
- These couplers are suitable for installation in NON-READILY accessible areas.
- Any dangerous compatibility between different manufacturer installation coupler systems is not automatically prevented by compliance with IEC 61535.
- This system is NOT a replacement for a domestic plug-and-socket outlet system.
INSTALLATION
- Remove the cover as shown below.

- Right Cable Entry: 3 x 2.5mm² Max.
