WARNING

Never remove the push rod off the tool in any case, otherwise, it will cause the failure of sphere locating which makes the gun fail to work.

In case of residual material left on the push rod, please clean it up thoroughly before pulling the rod to the backward position. The purpose is to prevent the material from entering the inner mechanism and keeping the tool in good condition.

APPENDIX

When operating electrically, the auto-reverse function always makes sure the rod is clutchable. However, if there is a blockage on the way, for example, the adhesive has already gone hardened, you might have difficulties clutching the mechanism.

When you are not able to clutch the mechanism (Pic. I), try to press and release the trigger once to activate the auto-reverse function (Pic. II). If it fails to work after several attempts, contact the after-sales service centre. Never operate violently to try to clutch the mechanism when it is blocked, otherwise the mechanism will get damaged easily.

This battery dispenser is designed for caulk dispensing only. Do not use it for other purposes.

Failure to follow all instructions list below may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. The term “power tool” in all of the warnings listed below refers to your mains battery-operated (Automatic) power tool.

WORK AREA SAFETY

• Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered and dark areas invite accidents.
• Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks that may ignite the dust or fumes.
• Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

• Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk or electric shock.
• Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
• Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
• Do not abuse the charger’s cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.

PERSONAL SAFETY

• Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.
• Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection. Safety equipment such as dust masks, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
• Avoid accidental starting. Ensure the switch is in the off position before plugging in. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or plugging in power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
• Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury.
• Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
• Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
• If devices are provided for the connection of duct extraction and collection facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used. Use of these devices can reduce dust-related hazards.

POWER TOOL USE AND CARE

• Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
• Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
• Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
• Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tools or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
• Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tools operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
• Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
• Use the power tool, accessories tool bits etc., in accordance with these instructions and in the matter intended for the particular type of power tool, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from intended could result in a hazardous situation.

BATTERY TOOL USE AND CARE

• Ensure the switch is in the off position before inserting the battery pack. Inserting the battery pack into power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
• Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
• Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
  •
  When battery pack is not in use. Keep it away from other metal objects like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
  •
  Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.

Function Description

1. Cartridge Holder To hold the cartridge.
2. Plunger To extrude adhesive.
3. Plunger rod The forward movement of the plunger rod applies pressure to an opened cartridge.
4. Plunger rod handle To retract the plunger rod for reloading a new cartridge. The plunger rod can only be moved backward while the rod release button is pressed.
5. Ventilation holes To release heat generated by the motor.
6. LED switch To control LED light on/off.
7. Rod release button To activate the clutch system to make the plunger rod clutchable.
8. Trigger To regulate the flow of material.
9. LED light The auxiliary light source.
10. Battery The 7.2V Li-ion battery.
11. Battery release buttons To release the battery.
12. Wrist strap hole To attach the wrist strap.
13. Trigger lock To switch the trigger.
14. Insert hole of the battery To be connected with the charger.
15. Adapter The 8.4V 1.5A adapter

    NOTE: PU glues will burden the tool with extra attrition. This affects the lifespan of tools.

Battery charging

Batteries are shipped in a low power condition to prevent possible problems. Therefore, you should charge the battery first before using the tool. The indicator of the charger is red while the battery is charging and it turns green when the charging process is completed. It takes approximately 1~1.5 hours to get the battery fully charged.

Clean, drip-free function

• When the trigger is released, the plunger reverses about 4mm, which helps to stop excess adhesive from continuously flowing.

SERVICE

• Have your power tool service by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the tool is maintained.

SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES

1. Keep hands out of the plunger and plunger rod area of the tool. Fingers can be pinched between the carriage holder and the plunger.
2. Maintain labels and nameplates. These items contain important information. If it is unreadable or missing, contact the seller for replacements.

OPERATION

Lock the trigger (Fig. G)

• Turn it to off and disconnect the battery before installing and removing accessories or performing maintenance. Lock the trigger when the tool is not in use.
• To lock the trigger, push the trigger lock “off”. The tool will not operate when the trigger is on the locked position.

Install and remove the battery (Fig. A-B)

• Lock the trigger before removing or installing the battery.
• Press the battery release buttons and firmly pull the battery out of the tool handle. To insert the battery, slide the battery firmly into the handle until you hear a “click” sound.

Start, stop and control speed (Fig. H)

• Press the trigger to extrude the adhesive.
• Increase or decrease pressure on the trigger to adjust speed for proper flow of material. The pressure, type of adhesive, temperature and nozzle diameter will all affect the flow.
• When using a tube or pack with a smaller nozzle diameter, select a slower speed or the material may leak out from the rear side.
• Release the trigger to stop extruding adhesive.

Adjust plunger rod (Fig. C-E)

• To manually adjust the plunger rod, press the rod release button. (Fig. C)
  NOTE: Keep the plunger rod clean and neat at all times. A plunger rod covered with adhesive may damage the whole mechanism. The warranty expires when adhesive goes into the mechanism; in addition, any maintenance fee occurred will be charged by the after-sales service center.

• Grasp the plunger rod handle and pull the plunger rod. (Fig. D-E)
  NOTE: When you are not able to move the plunger rod by pressing the rod release button, which means the clutch system fails to locate onto the right pitches. Try to press and release the trigger once to activate the auto- reverse function. After that, press the rod release button again and see if it works properly. If it fails to work after several attempts, contact the after- sales service centre.

Load adhesive

• Make sure a proper cartridge is selected.
• Use the trigger lock to lock the trigger.
• Trim the nozzle. A smaller hole requires more power to push the adhesive; it may also affect the battery’s durability.
• If the adhesive has gone hardened, remove the hardened parts first or launch a new tube. If the hardened parts block the tube, the adhesive may leak out from the rear side and then damage the tool.
• Grasp the plunger rod handle and pull the plunger rod back to allow the adhesive to be loaded onto the carriage holder. After loading the adhesive, screw the nozzle and the cap back.
• Push the plunger rod handle forward until the plunger touches the adhesive.

Control dial (Fig. F)

SPEED CONTROL As this variable speed control dial is turned counter-clockwise, speed increases from 1 the lowest to 6 the highest. Start with the speed control dial at least the “2” position. When the adhesive begins to come out, adjust the speed control for the proper flow of material. When using a cartridge with a small nozzle diameter, do not use the highest speed, or the material may leak out from the rear side.

Electronic overload protection

• The tool is protected by an electronic overload protection. If too much pressure is exerted on the adhesive, the motor will automatically reverse and then shut down. This prevents the tool from damage.

If the motor is shut down, make sure that:

• The nozzle is cut off.
• Sausage packing is opened.
• The hardened adhesive is removed.
• The adhesive is not damaged or frozen.
• The plunger rod is free of adhesive.

Release the trigger to allow the electronics to reset. If the motor remains motionless, try another tube To reduce the risk of personal injury, always unplug the charger and remove the battery from the charger or tool before performing any maintenance. Never disassemble the tool, battery or charger by yourself. adhesive or seek for after-sales service.

MAINTENANCE AND DISPOSAL

WARNING

Maintain the tool

If the tool does not start or operate properly with a full charged battery, clean the electrodes on the battery. If the tool still does not work properly, return the tool, charger and battery to a service center.
Maintain the battery

The battery can be recharged for three hundreds of cycles when it is maintained and used according to these instructions. The battery stored for six months without being used will discharge by itself. Charge the battery every six months even if it is unused to keep the battery’s life. Store your battery in a cool, dry place. Do not store at places where the temperature may exceed 50℃ such as in a vehicle or metal building during the summer. High temperature will overheat the battery, and reduce the battery’s life. The operating time diminishes gradually every time you recharge it. If the operating time becomes extremely short after charging, it means the battery is dead and it should be replaced.

Cleaning

Clean dust and debris from the tool vents. Keep the handle clean, dry and free of oil or grease. Use only soap and damp cloth to clean the tool, battery and charger since certain cleaning agents and solvents are harmful to plastics and other insulated parts. Some of them may consist in household detergents. Never use flammable or combustible solvents on the tool.

WARNING!

To reduce the risk of explosion, never burn a battery pack even if it is damaged, dead or completely discharged.

Disposal of tools and batteries

• Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection facilities.
• Contact your local government for information regarding the collection systems available.
• If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being.
• When replacing old appliances with new ones, the retailer is legally obligated to take back your old appliance for disposal at least for free of charge.

Service

Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool in maintained.
