Before using NoriZite™ Oral Spray, please read this leaflet carefully.
If you are unsure about anything or have any questions, please speak to your doctor or pharmacist.

NoriZite™ Oral Spray

This easy-to-use protective oral spray is designed to create a barrier in the oral cavity and throat to help reduce the risk of infection from viruses transmitted primarily by the airborne route.

How Does it Work?

Formulation
This spray contains NoriZite™ , a unique blend of natural ingredients, capable of physically blocking and trapping inhaled virus particles. The two main ingredients are iota-carrageenan and gellan gum.

Plume Formation
NoriZite™ is a gel-like novel formulation, tailored to ‘plume’ rather than ‘jet’ when applied for extensive coverage and long-lasting retention in the oral cavity and throat.

Ingredients
Purified water, NoriZite™ (iota-carrageenan and gellan gum), potassium sorbate, benzalkonium chloride, and mint.

How to use:

  1. Shake before use.
  2. Remove the clear cap and lift the spray head 90 degrees to a horizontal position.
  3. Use the nozzle on top of the bottle to spray into the air until a consistent mist is released.
  4. Open your mouth and spray directly towards the back of the throat.
  5. Spray 2-3 sprays (one dose).
  6. Clean the spray head immediately after use.
  7. Lower the spray head back down to its original position and replace the cap.
  8. Repeat up to 4 times per day.

Cautions:
Do not use if allergic or sensitive to any of the ingredients.
In the case of an adverse reaction, stop usage immediately and seek medical advice.
Any serious incident that occurs in relation to this device should be reported to Birmingham Biotech LTD (https://www.birminghambiotech.co.uk/contact-us) and to the MHRA (https://www.gov.uk/report-problem-medicine-medical-device).
For use by adults and children over 12 years.
Suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
NoriZite™ Oral Spray is not a substitute for vaccination.
NoriZite™ Oral Spray has local action in the oral cavity and throat and is not absorbed by the body.
NoriZite™ Oral Spray is not a medicine and does not contain active pharmaceutical ingredients.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Do not share the bottle. Use one bottle per person to avoid contamination.
If you experience symptoms of a viral infection, contact your doctor.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Shelf life:

24 months from the date of manufacture.
Do not unscrew the bottle.
Do not use after the date of expiry noted on the bottle.
Once open, use within 28 days.
