Getting Started
- Connect the USB charging cable to the CloudBox for charging.
- Slide the switch on the bottom to select the desired language.
- Press the power button on the front panel to turn on the unit.
Listening to Stories
- Use the left knob to select a character and the right knob to choose an environment.
- Press the center of either knob to play the story; press again to pause.
- To change characters or environments, use the designated buttons or knobs.
Adjusting Settings
- Use the top dial on the right side to adjust volume; lowest setting mutes sound.
- Use the lower dial to adjust brightness of projections; lowest setting turns off LEDs.
Playing Melodies and Nature Sounds
- Select the icon for Melodies or Nature Sounds and choose an environment.
- Press the Right Knob to start playing and navigate between tracks.
- Each melody or sound will play for 20 minutes.
Repeat Function
The button can restart stories from the beginning or reset timers for
Melodies/Nature Sounds.

CLOUDBOX UNIT INSTRUCTIONS
Getting Started
Your CloudBox Storyteller includes a USB charging cable. Plug the smaller
connector (USB-C) into the back of the CloudBox. Plug the larger, rectangular
USB connector into a USB power source. The LED above the USB-C connector will
illuminate in RED to let you know the unit is charging. When the internal
battery is fully charged, the LED will turn GREEN. (Note: unit will not
operate while charging or if plugged in).
On the bottom of the unit is a 3-position slide switch. Slide the switch from
“Off” to the desired language. (Note: if the unit will not be used for a long
period of time, slide the bottom switch to the OFF position.)
Press the button on the front panel to turn on the CloudBox. The 2 large knobs allow you to select sound modes, characters and environments.

Note: although you select the primary environment, the light patterns
automatically change to match the action in each story.
Due to the unique shape of the CloudBox, you might notice some distortions in
the projections.
Listening to Stories
Use the left knob to select one of the 9 characters. Use the right knob to
select the Environment. Press the center of either knob to play the story. If
you want to pause the story at any point, press either knob again.
Each character has 4 stories. To hear the same character in the next
environment, press the button on the bottom right or turn the Right Knob. To
start the current story over again, press the button in the center bottom.
After your story ends, the projection will illuminate for 2 15 minutes, then
shut off.
- There are 2 rotating dials on the right side of the CloudBox. Turn the top dial to adjust volume. Turning the dial to the lowest setting turns the sound OFF.
- Turn the lower dial to adjust the brightness of the projections. Turning the dial to the lowest setting turns the projection LEDs OFF.
Playing and Selecting Melodies
Select the icon to listen to melodies; then select one of the 4 environments. There are 2 melodies in each environment. Press the Right Knob to begin playing the first melody. Press the button to go to the second melody, or turn the knob to change environments. Each melody will play for 20 mins.
Playing and Selecting Nature Sounds
Select the icon to listen to Nature Sounds; then select one of the 4 environments. There are 2 Nature Sounds in each environment. Press the Right Knob to begin playing the first Nature Sound. Press the button to go to the second sound or turn the knob to change environments. Each sound will play for 20 mins.
Repeat
Pressing the button will restart any story at the beginning. Pressing he button while listening to Melodies or Nature Sounds will reset the timer.
Repeat Mode
If you would like to hear all 4 stories for any one character, select the
character, select any environment, then press the button instead of the Play
buttons. The CloudBox will play all 4 character stories in a row, starting
with the environment you have selected. If you use Repeat Mode with Melodies
or Nature Sounds, the unit will play both sounds in the selected environment.
Recording a Custom Story
Select the icon on the left knob. Select one of the 4 environments on the
Right Knob. PRESS the left knob and the right knob at the same time and then
release them. The CloudBox will “beep” to confirm that it has started to
record. There is a microphone behind the small opening on the top left of the
front panel. Speak clearly with the microphone 12-15 cm from your mouth. When
you have finished your story, press either knob to stop recording. The
CloudBox will beep twice to confirm that it has stopped recording.
You can record a story for each of the 4 environments. Your stories must be
shorter than 8 minutes. If you get near the end of the recording time, the
projection LEDs will illuminate and then go off one at a time to indicate the
recording time is over. To erase a recorded story, press the Left knob and
Right knob simultaneously then release. When the CloudBox “beeps” to confirm
recording has started, press both buttons again without making any sound and
the old recording will be erased.
Playing a Custom Story
Select the icon then select one of the 4 environments where you saved a story.
Press Play to start your story and the matching projection. After your story
ends, the CloudBox will keep the projection on to serve as a soothing
nightlight for 15 minutes.
Headphone Jack
Your CloudBox includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack on the left panel. Headphones not included.
Recharging the CloudBox
If the sound volume or LED brightness diminish, re-charge the unit. The charge indicator LED turns green when the batteries are fully recharged. Note: If the Cloudbox shuts down due to a low battery, it must be restarted to restore its initial functions. To restart the device, move the slide switch on the bottom to “OFF” and then to the desired 4 language.

Battery is not replaceable. To avoid risk of fire, the CloudBox product must
only be charged by an external USB power source with an output of 5.0V, 0.5A.
Batteries should only be recharged under adult supervision. Disposal of a
battery into fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting a battery
can result in an explosion. Leaving the battery in an extremely high-
temperature environment can result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable
liquid or gas. Do not place flammable materials on top of the Li-ion batteries
when charging or it may result in overheating, explosion or fire. Do not throw
or drop the CloudBox electrical device from a high place. Do not drive a nail
into the Li-ion battery, or hit it with a hammer, or step on it with your
feet. Do not spill any liquids on the CloudBox electrical device. Do not
disassemble Li-ion batteries. Regularly examine the supply cord, plug,
enclosure and all other parts for damage. In the event of damage, do not use
product until any damage is repaired.
WARNING : The charging cable provided with this product is not a toy and is only to be used by an adult. Keep away from children.
WARNING
When recharging battery, only use the specified detachable supply unit
(5.0v,0.5A). Battery acid leakage can cause personal injury and cause damage
to your Cloud b product and surrounding property. If battery leakage occurs,
thoroughly wash any affected skin, making sure to keep battery acid away from
eyes, ears, nose and mouth. Immediately wash any clothing or other surface
that comes into contact with leaked battery acid. Leaking batteries may make
“popping” sounds.

Caring for the CloudBox
To clean your CloudBox, disconnect it from any power source and slide the
switch on the bottom to the OFF position. Avoid getting any liquids or
moisture on the controls or in the ports. Wipe exterior surfaces gently with a
soft, lint-free dry (or slightly damp) cloth. Do not use cleaning agents that
contain solvents, chlorides, chemicals or abrasives. Be sure the CloudBox is
completely dry before using or connecting to any power source.
