Connection Settings
Step 1: Pair the FM Transmitter with Your Car

Power on your car radio and tune it to an unused FM frequency.
Tip: What is an unused frequency?
An unused frequency is a channel with no active radio programs broadcasting on it, producing only a slight rustling or static noise through your car’s speakers. -
Plug the FM transmitter into the cigarette lighter or power port. It will automatically power on, with the LED displaying the vehicle’s battery voltage, FM frequency, and then showing the word “bt”.

Adjust the FM transmitter to the same frequency as your car radio. Click and adjust the frequency up and down by rotating the , or press the or until it matches the car radio frequency.
Step 2: Pair the FM Transmitter with Your Smart Device
- When the LED display shows “bt,” the device will enter into Bluetooth pairing mode.
- Enable Bluetooth on your device, search for ‘KM36’, and select ‘connect . If asked, enter the pairing code ‘0000’ or ‘1234’.
- Once successfully connected, you can start playing music, using navigation, or enjoying hands-free calling through the device.

Note: The Bass and Treble EQ adjustments have a strong effect. It is
recommended to adjust both together to achieve the best state. Adjusting only
one to the highest level may negatively impact the listening experience.
U Disk Mode
| Supported Format: FAT32 formatted USB flash drive not used as a computer
boot disk
Supported Capacity: Up to 64GB
Music Playback Source Selection| Wireless Connection: Open the phone music
player and click play to play music through Bluetooth.
U Disk Music Playback: Insert the U disk into the “Music” port of the device.
The screen will display “USB,” and the device will automatically play the
music from the U disk.
Tip: The U disk music playback does not support playing music stored in
folders. Please ensure that songs are not categorized in folders.

Long Press: Turn off the atmosphere light. This is useful for driving at night when the lights may be too bright. -
Next Song Button
Long Press: Switch the music source between Bluetooth and USB drive. -
Multi-Function Button
Long Press: Activate Siri (for iOS devices) & Google Assistant (for Android devices).
Double Press: Call Back the Last Answered Call. -
Channel Button
Long Press: Turn on/off the power. This will disable Bluetooth, transmission, and display functions, leaving only the charging function active. This ensures there is no depletion of the car’s battery power.
Note:
- During music playback, if there is an incoming call, the device will automatically switch to telephone mode and announce the caller’s phone number in English.
- If the volume was set below 22 during the last use, it will default to 24 the next time the transmitter is used. If it was set between 23 and 30 during the last use, it will remain at the same level the next time it is turned on.
USB Charger
- USB Socket with Music Logo: This socket is designed for music playback from a U disk. It supports U disks with a maximum capacity of 64GB formatted in FAT. Additionally, this USB socket provides a 5V/1A current output for charging devices.
- PD20W Type-C and QC3.0 USB Port: The sockets labeled PD20W (Type-C) and QC3.0 (USB) are designated for fast charging. They support the PD (20W) + QC3.0 charging protocols, ensuring a quick and efficient charging experience for your devices
Cautions
- If the battery voltage drops below 11V, the voltage display will flash as an alarm to remind you to charge the car battery.
- Avoid setting the car radio volume too high (typically 18 or lower) to prevent increased background noise.
- Although this product has relatively strong transmission power, it is advisable to avoid frequencies with strong local signals to achieve better sound quality.
- Do not use this product in environments that are dusty, humid, or have extremely high or low temperatures.
- Avoid dropping the product to prevent surface damage or malfunction.
- Do not disassemble the product without proper authorization, as doing so will void the warranty.
Trouble Shooting
Device Malfunctioning

Power is not responding, or display is not showing:
1 ) Ensure the device is properly connected to the cigarette lighter port, and that the cigarette lighter is not significantly rusted.
2 ) Unplug the device and try connecting it again.
3 ) Check if the cigarette lighter port is receiving power normally. -
Unable to play:
1 ) Ensure that the USB device is properly connected to the player. Alternatively, try using another USB device.
2 ) Confirm that the files on the USB device are supported by the product.
3 ) Ensure that the volume is not set to 0.
Sound Troubles

Noise is present, but there is no sound:
1 ) Confirm that the player is activated and not in pause mode.
2 ) Check and adjust the volume settings on the car radio, FM transmitter, and the connected external device as needed. -
The car audio is not receiving sound:
1 ) Ensure that the FM transmitter is turned on.
2 ) Verify that the transmission frequency of the FM transmitter matches the reception frequency of the car’s radio. -
Poor transmission quality with noise:
1 ) Ensure no strong signal stations are broadcasting at the current transmission frequency.
2 ) When in use, set your car radio to an unused frequency between 87.5-108.0 MHz (for the UK)or 88.1-1079MHz (for the US & Canada). Then, set the NX16 transmitter ‘s frequency to match the car radio’s.”
