This guide is only applicable to the assembly of the Snapmaker 2.0 models, and
we will soon release a PDF guide for the assembly of the Artisan model. For
Artisan model users, please refer to section 03 Assembly & Installation, in

Installing the Toolhead
2.1 Quick Swap Kit Installed

To install the platform bracket and the toolhead bracket, refer to section
Machine Assembly, in the online Quick Start Guide at:

Loosen the handle of the toolhead bracket, and then slide the toolhead into
the bracket.

Adjust the height of the toolhead vertically until the top of the slider is
level with the top of the bracket. Then, tighten the handle of the toolhead.
2.2 Quick Swap Kit Not Installed

Attach the laser module to the slider on the X axis.
2.3 Installing the 20W Laser Module on 150 Model

Attach the 20W laser module to the slider on the X axis.

Connect the 20W laser module with the controller.

Attach the laser engraving and cutting platform to the support platform.
Connecting the Toolhead
3.1 Connecting the 40W Laser Module

Connect the laser module with the controller.
Specifically designed to power up the 40W laser module, the powerboosted toolhead cable is also compatible with other toolheads, which means that you do not need to replace the power-boosted toolhead cable when replacing toolheads.

Lock the power-boosted toolhead cable into the cable holder.
3.2 Connecting the 20W Laser Module

Connect the laser module with the controller.

Lock the toolhead cable into the cable holder.
Installing the Platform
4.1 Quick Swap Kit Installed

To install the laser engraving and cutting platform, refer to section 2.2.2

4.2 Quick Swap Kit Not Installed

Attach the laser engraving and cutting platform to the support platform.
Installing the Air Assist Pump

Attach the M5 air tube connector to the toolhead.

Insert the air tube into the M5 air tube connector.
To pull out the air tube, firmly press the round clamp of the air tube connector while pulling.

Use the two cable ties to collect and fix the toolhead cable and the air tube.

IF you have installed the Enclosure, thread the air tube through the snap
bushing to the outside of the Enclosure.

Attach the M8 air tube connector to the air assist pump.

Insert the other end of the air tube into the M8 air tube connector.
To pull out the air tube, firmly press the round clamp of the air tube connector while pulling.

Connect the air assist pump conversion cable with the power cable of the air
assist pump.

Insert the air assist pump conversion cable into the Heated Bed port of the
controller.
IF you have installed the Enclosure, please place the air assist pump outside the Enclosure. Therefore, you will need to thread the air assist pump conversion cable through the snap bushing into the Enclosure.
