Mandatory: staggered installation
These instructions are for your safety. Please read them thoroughly before use and retain for future reference.
Use
⊠ Vinyl floor can be slippery when wet.Indoor and domestic use only. This flooringis not suitable for use inareaswhich are exposed to prolonged periods of direct sunlight e.g. conservatories, near a bay window. Vinyl flooring is sensitive to heat, make sure that it isn’t exposed to temperatures less than 50°F /10°C or greater than 120°F / 50°C.
Before you start
Porous surfaces, such as cement, tiling, plywood, hardboard and chipboard should be sealed with a suitable primer. Timber plank floors should be overlaid. New floors must be allowed to dry out completely. The floor must be solid, dry; smooth, level, clean and completely dust free. Uneven surfaces must be levelled before laying the tiles / planks. Do not fix over asphalt or thermoplastic tiles.
Before installation, tiles and planks should be unpacked and stored flat in the room for at least 24h at 18-24degC and humidity maintained between 40% and 65%.
*Checkthat all BATCH NUMBERS AND ITEM NUMBERS are the same and that you have purghased sufficient packs to complete the job.
All tiles and planks should be checked before and during installation for
faults which are clearly visible; this will reduce problems when assembling
and identify any colour differences. The inspection should be performed in
daylight, or under good artificial lighting, in the room in which the Products
are to be installed.
Assembly
To replace damaged planks, use a craft knife to cut the plank in several parts. Warm the plank with a hairdryer and then pull the different pieces out starting from the middle each time. Excess application of glue can be cleaned with white spirit.
Care & maintenance
Use protective pads under furniture or equipment to reduce risk of surface damage. Please do not use rugs with rubber backing or carpets with vinyl floors.
After installation, do not wash the floor or get it wet for 5 days. After installation, room temperature should be maintained between 15 and 35•c and humidity between 40 and 65%. The Product should be installed and maintained according to the assembling instructions. Retain this information for future reference.

This Product is guaranteed for 5 years from the date of purchase, if bought in
store, or delivered, if bought on line, for normal (non-professional or
commercial) household use and without additional charge. You may only make a
claim under this guarantee upon presentation of your sales receipt or purchase
invoice. Please keep your proof of purchase in a safe place.
Vinyl tiles and planks are guaranteed for fabric defects and performance of
the product related to normal domestic use.
The guarantee covers product failures and malfunctions provided the product was used for the purpose for which it is intended and subject to installation, cleaning. care and maintenance in accordance with standard practice and with the information contained above and in the user manual. All tiles and planks should be checked before and during installation for faults which are clearly visible; this will reduce problems when assembling and identify any colour differences. The inspection should be performed in daylight, or under good artificial lighting, in the room in which the products are to be installed. Products with visible faults should not be installed and returned to store.
This guarantee is non-transferable to a new owner of the product or if the
product has been removed from the premises in which it was first installed and
then reinstalled in other premises.
The product should be installed and maintained according to the assembling
instructions provided with the product.
If the product is defective, please return to store for a refund.
This Guarantee does not cover:
- Product which has been installed and which have defects that would have been clearly visible before installation
- Defects and damage caused by normal wear and tear of the product
- Product that has been damaged or neglected during transportation
- Product which are damaged or become defective due to modification, improper storage, faulty assembly/installation, misuse, neglect, wilful or accidental damage, or by act of God.
- Product installed into business premises or domestic premises connected with business(e.g. rented property/holiday lets)
- Product damaged by scratching (including from the action of furniture placed on the products without felted pads, gravel, sand or other abrasive materials), being subjected to excessive force (e.g. heavy objects hitting or being dropped onto the Products),
- Exposure to excessive heat, i.e. above 35 •c
- The guarantee is limited to the product recognised as being defective. It does not, in any case, cover ancillary costs (movement, labour) and direct and indirect damage.
Rights under this guarantee are enforceable in the country in which you purchased the product. Guarantee related queries should be addressed to a store affiliated with the distributor you purchased the product from. The guarantee is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights.
This product complies with conformity requirements of the applicable UK Regulations.
