IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • When using your appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
  • Read all instructions before using this product.
  • This product has been designed for domestic and indoor use only. Any commercial use, inappropriate use or failure to comply with the instructions, voids the manufacturer’s warranty and removes responsibility of the manufacturer.
  • WARNING ! The voltage of your electrical outlet must correspond to that of the appliance (120V). Connecting to the wrong voltage may cause irreversible damage to the steamer and will void the warranty.
  • Use appliance for its intended use only.
  • To reduce the risk of contact with hot water emitting from steam vents, check appliance before each use by holding it away from body and operating steam button.
  • Never pull on the cord to disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet; instead grasp the plug and pull to disconnect the appliance.
  • Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces. Let appliance cool completely down before putting away. Loop cord loosely around appliance when storing.
  • Always disconnect appliance from electrical outlet when filling with water or emptying, and when not in use.
  • Do not operate appliance with a damaged cord or if appliance has been dropped or damaged. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble or attempt to repair the appliance. Take it to the nearest authorized approved service center for examination and repair. Incorrect reassembly or repair could cause a risk of fire, electrical shock or injury to persons when the appliance is used.
  • Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being used by or near children.
  • Do not leave appliance un-attended while plugged in or while it is still hot.
  • Burns could occur from touching hot metal or plastic parts, hot water or steam.
  • Care should be taken when using the appliance due to emission of steam.
  • Completely extend the pole to the maximum height before using.
  • Always used the appliance with the steam hose in a vertical position.
  • Use care when you empty a steam appliance. There may be hot water in the reservoir.
  • To reduce the likelihood of circuit overload, do not operate another high voltage appliance on the same circuit.
  • If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a cord with a 15A ampere rating should be used. A cord rated with less amperage can result in a risk of fire or electric shock due to overheating. Use caution when placing the cord, so that it cannot be pulled or  ripped over.
  • To protect against a risk of electric shock, do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
  • Do not direct steam at people, animals or clothes while they are being worn.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • The fabric steamer must not be left unattended while it is connected to a power supply.
  • Keep the fabric steamer and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years old while it is on or cooling down.
  • The use of accessory attachments other than those provided by the manufacturer is not recommended and may result in fire, electric shock or personnal injury.
  • The appliance must not be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.
  • Check the electrical cord for signs and ware or damage prior to use. If the electrical cord is damaged, it must be replaced at an approved service center to avoid any danger.
  • To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If theplug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If itstill does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to instalthe proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way(depending on model)
  • The surfaces which are marked or close to with thissign are very hot during the use of the appliance. Donot touch these surfaces before the appliance hascooled down.

Problems Possible causes Solutions
There is no steam. The appliance has not been turned on. Check that the

appliance has been plugged in correctly to a power
source. Then turn the power knob on.
The power indicator light located on the knob will light up.
The hose has been obstructed.| Check that the hose is not bent or twisted.
There is no water left in the water tank.| Switch off the device and fill the water tank.
The appliance is not hot enough to produce steam yet.| The appliance will produce steam about 45 seconds after it has been switched on.
The steam flow is| Your steamer has a build-up of scale because it has not been rinsed out regularly.| See the descaling process paragraph.
The hose has been obstructed.| Check that the hose is not bent or twisted and check the pole is
completely extended.
There is no water left in the water tank.| Switch off the appliance and fill the water tank.
Water runs through the holes of the
steam head.| There is condensation in the hose.| Never use the steam head in the horizontal position. Hold the hose vertically outstretched, wait for the condensed water to return to the steamer and check the pole is completely extended.
The steamer takes a long time to heat
and/or ejects white particles.| Your steamer has a build-up of scale because it has not been descaled regularly.| See the descaling process paragraph.

ASSEMBLY

  1. Insert the pole in the housing & then lock.
  2. Open the 2 pole locks.
  3. Extend the pole fully.
  4. Close the 2 locks.
  5. Fully insert the hanger vertically on top of the pole.
  6. Position the steam head on the holder of the hanger.
  7. Lock the extremity of the steam hose (G1) to the connector(H) located on the product base.

BEFORE USE

  1. Remove the water tank.
  2. Remove the cap then fill the water tank.
  3. Fully screw the water tank cap and insert tank back into the appliance.
  4. Place the garment on the hanger.

ACCESSORIES (* IN SOME MODELS ONLY)

**** Make sure the appliance is unplugged and completely cool before attaching or removing accessories.
K. The fabric brush opens the weaves of the fabrics for better steam penetration.
Attach the fabric brush to the steam head when appliance is unplugged and has cooled down.
D. The trouser clip should be clipped on the hanger. It helps to hold trousers, skirts and other garments during steaming.

SCENARIO OF USE

  1. Only operate the appliance on a floor clear of any materials which may obstruct the base of the steamer (flat and horizontal surface).
    Do not obstruct the openings on the lower part of the appliance. This appliance should not be used on very thick carpets or rugs.

  2. Plug in the appliance.

  3. Press on the ON/OFF switch to turn the appliance ON or OFF.
    Press on the highest position = for higher steam concentration. A red light will turn on.
    Press on the lowest position for lower steam concentration. A blue light will turn on.
    Wait for 45 seconds before steaming.
    If you want to turn OFF the appliance, press on the middle position  .
    The light indicator will turn off.

  4. After approximately 45 seconds, steam will come out.

  5. For optimal use, pass the steam head on your garment from top to bottom.

Warning: Never steam a garment while it being worn.

DURING USE

  1. If steam is not coming out anymore, this can be due to low water level in tank.
  2. Press the ON/OFF switch to the middle position and check that light is switched OFF.
  3. Remove the water tank.
  4. Remove the cap then fill the water tank.
  5. Fully screw the water tank cap back on and insert tank back in appliance.
  6. Press the ON/OFF switch and select your desired steam concentration.
    Check that light is switched on. Wait for 45 seconds before steaming.

AFTER USE

  1. Press the ON/OFF switch to the middle position and check that light is switched OFF.
  2. Unplug the appliance.
  3. Remove the water tank.
  4. Unscrew the cap and then empty the water tank completely in a sink.
  5. Fully screw the water tank cap back on and place the water tank back onto the appliance.
  6. Wait for an hour for your appliance to cool before storing.

DESCALING PROCEDURE

** This process should be made every 6 months or as soon as you feel that the performance of the appliance (steam output) is decreasing.
WARNING!** Wait an hour so that the appliance has completely cooled down.

  1. Remove the steam head from the hanger, unlock the locker and pull out the pole.
  2. Never fill inside the pole connection ( G1 / H).
  3. Remove the water tank and open its cap.
  4. Fill the water tank with a mixed preparation of 50% vinegar and 50% water of vinegar and 500ml of water. Close the cap.
  5. Descale the appliance by placing the water tank with the mixture of vinegar / water (cold appliance), back into the base.
  6. Gently shake the appliance.
  7. Leave to soak for at least 5 minutes.
  8. Remove the water tank from the base.
  9. Vertically tilt the appliance to empty the water into the sink.
  10. Repeat the procedure until there is no more water in the water tank (5-6 times).
  11. Once completed, re-assemble the product ( Step 1 to 7).
  12. Remove the cap then fill the water tank with 44oz of water.
  13. Re-assemble the water tank cap by screwing it in completely to ensure that it is watertight but do not over tighten it and insert the water tank back into the appliance.
  14. Plug in the appliance.
  15. Let the appliance run until the water tank has completely emptied.

CLEANING

  • Wait an hour so that the appliance has completely cooled down.
  • Only use a damp sponge/cloth with water to clean the base.
  • Only use a damp sponge/cloth with water to clean the steam head.
  • Never use detergents when cleaning your appliance.
  • Never wash or rinse appliance directly over a sink.
