SAFETY FlRST!
- Before using your new MIOOS Electric Dutch Oven, please read all instructions to understand the operation and use of the product. Failure to follow the instructions and safeguards may result in personal injury, death, or substantial property damage.
- DO NOT use the appliance without the remov able inner pot. NEVER use third-party parts or accessories in your Electric Dutch Oven.
- This appliance is for indoor and household use only. DO NOT use outdoors and for other intended use.
- KEEP AWAY from children.
- This appliance has a 3-prong grounding plug intended for use in 120v-/6OHz electrical systems only in North America. ALWAYS plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Attach the plug to the Electric Dutch Oven before plugging it into a wall outlet. When not in use, turn the unit off and unplug from the socket to disconnect, and let the unit cool down before cleaning or storing.
- Regularly inspect the appliance and power cord. Keep the Electric Dutch Oven cord away from hot surfaces. DO NOT let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter. DO NOT operate your Electric Dutch Oven if there is damage to the power cord or if the Electric Dutch Oven is damaged or is malfunctioning.
- The electric base unit is intended for counter- top use only. NEVER place the electric base unit near a hot gas or electric burner or inside an oven. The removing inner Dutch oven pot is stove-to-oven safe.
- NEVER immerse your Electric Dutch Oven base, cord, or plug in water or liquid.
- Electric Dutch Oven surfaces get hot and stay hot during and after cooking; NEVER touch any hot surfaces! ALWAYS use hand mitts to avoid burns when moving the appliance. ALWAYS place them on a heat-resistance pad provided after removing them to prevent damage to the countertop or tables. Avoid hot steam and air while removing the inner cooking pot and glass lid from the electric base.
- To avoid possible steam damage, keep the appliance away from walls and cabinets during use.
- ALWAYS use the side handles to carry your Electric Dutch Oven. Use extreme caution if moving Electric Dutch Oven containing hot liquid or full of ingredients. DO NOT move the unit when in use.
- NEVER use your Electric Dutch Oven to deep-frying.
- ALWAYS ensure the appliance of assembling correctly before use.
- DO NOT overfill the inner Cooking Pot. Overfill ing may cause personal injury or property damage or affect the safe use of the appliance.
WHAT’S IN THE BOX?
Using the Silicone Accessories
- Always use silicon handle covers when removing the cooking pot from the base unit or removing the glass lid from the cooking pot.
- Remove the handle covers from the Cooking Pot during cooking, whether cooking on the Cooker Base, in the oven, or on the stovetop.
- Do not use the handle covers as oven mitts.
- Always use the Protective Pad under the hot Cooking Pot to protect your countertop surface.
PARTS
CLEAN BEFORE USE
- Wash the MIOOS Electric Dutch Oven’s cooking pot and accessories with hot water and dish soap. Dry with a soft cloth. The cooking pot and the accessories are dishwasher-safe.
- Use a soft cloth to wipe the heating element inside the cooker base to remove any packaging particles.
OPERATING BUTTONS

Temp/Time : select temperature or time setting mode. Temperature displays in Fahrenheit during cooking.

Control Dial: adjust the cooking temperature or time precisely.

Keep Warm: reheat or keep cooked food warm for long periods.
Automatically enters Keep Warm mode for Braise and Slow Cook program, and can be used manually. -
Delay Start: set to start cooking in a set amount of hours.
Available for Braise, Slow Cook, and Manual Mode 1 program. -
Start: press to start a cooking program.

Cancel: press to end a cooking program.

Status Bar: display the current cooking progress status, including Preheating, Cooking, and Keep Warm.

SEAR/SAUTE
Use Sear/Saute instead of a frying pan or saucepan. Searing is a surface
treatment to produce a flavorful brown crust on thick cuts of protein, like
brown on the surface of a fish, a large steak, a pork chop, or a chicken
thigh. Sauteing involves cooking smaller pieces of food or thinner cuts of
meat, such as diced vegetables or thinly sliced beef, pork, or chicken breast.

How to sear/saute?
Preparation
Cut, chop, season or marinate your ingredients according to your recipe.
PREHEATING

Place the cooking pot onto the cooker base.

Press the Sear/Saute button.

If you want to use the default setting. press the Start button to preheat, and then the preheating bar lights are on.

If you need to change the default setting, press the Temp/Time button.

Temperature blinks , use the Control Dial to increase or decrease the temperature if needed.

Press the Temp/Time button again.

Time blinks, using the Control Dial to increase or decrease the time if needed.

Press the Start button to start preheating. The preheating bar lights will turn on.
COOKING
- Once the cooking bar lights turn on, the display will count down the time and a beep will sound serveral times, adding your ingredients to the cooking pot.
- When the timer ends, a beep will sound several times, and the machine enters standby mode.
- Press Cancel if you want to finish cooking before the timer runs out .
WARNING
Be careful when using the Sear/Saute function, as it can reach high
temperatures. If unmonitored, food may burn in this setting. Use caution when
touching hot surfaces and when removing food to avoid burns. Do not use the
lid and leave the cooker unattended while using Sear/Saute.
BRAISE
Braising is a combination cooking method that starts with searing at a high
temperature, then simmering in cooking liquid (such as wine, broth, coconut
milk, or beer) in lower heat. Use it to cook tougher cuts of meat, such as the
shoulder, shank, and brisket.

How to braise?
Preparation
Cut, chop, season or marinate your ingredients according to your recipe.
PREHEATING
- Place the cooking pot onto the cooker base.
- Press the Braise button.
- The default cooking temperature and time will display. If you want to use the default setting, press the Start button to preheat, and then the preheating bar lights are on.
- If you need to change the default setting, press the Temp/Time button.
- Temperature blinks , use the Control Dial to increase or decrease the temperature if needed.
- Press the Temp/Time button again.
- Time blinks, using the Control Dial to increase or decrease the time if needed.
- Press the Start button to start preheating. The preheating bar lights will turn on.
COOKING
- Once the cooking bar lights turn on, wait for a few minutes till the temperature gets stable, then the display will count down the time, adding your ingredients to the cooking pot .
- When the timer ends, a beep will sound several times, and the machine enters keep warm mode.
- Press Cancel if you want to finish cooking before the timer runs out .
KEEP WARM
- When cooking ends, the cooker automatically enters Keep Warm mode for up to twelve hours. Then display will show “Keep Warm”. You can press Keep Warm anytime before or during cooking to cancel the automatic Keep Warm.
- When you’re ready to serve, press Cancel. The oven will enter standby mode .
WARNING
The cooking pot and lid can get very hot during Braise. Use caution when
touching hot surfaces and when removing food to avoid burns.

How to slow cook?
Preparation:
Cut, chop, season or marinate your ingredients according to your recipe.
COOKING
- Place the cooking pot onto the cooker base.
- Add the recipe ingredients and place the lid on the cooking pot.
- Press the Slow Cook button. The default cooking temperature and time will display. If you want to use the default setting, press Start to start cooking.
- If you need to change the default setting, press the Temp/Time button.
- Temperature blinks , use the Control Dial to increase or decrease the temperature if needed.
- . Press the Temp/Time button again.
- Time blinks, using the Control Dial to increase or decrease the time if needed.
- Press the Start button to start preheating. The preheating bar lights will turn on.
- Once the cooking bar lights turn on, the display will count down the time and a beep will sound serveral times.
- When the timer ends, a beep will sound several times, the machine enters into automatic Keep Warm mode.
- Press Cancel if you want to finish cooking before the timer runs out.
KEEP WARM
- When cooking ends, the cooker automatically enters Keep Warm mode for up to twelve hours. Then display will show “Keep Warm”. You can press Keep Warm anytime before or during cooking to cancel the automatic Keep Warm.

WARNING
Be careful while using Slow Cook as the Cooking Pot and Lid get very hot. Use
care when touching hot surfaces and when removing food to avoid burns.
MANUAL MODE
Manual Mode allows you to cook your recipes with precision and even cooking
temperatures. You can choose between two options depending on your recipe.
Manual Mode 1 (so· F – 210· F) is suitable for slow cooking, sous vide, or
dough proofing at lower temperature for long periods. Manual Mode 2 (220· F –
410· F) is for faster cooking at higher temperature with shorter cooking time.

How to Cook in Manual Mode?
To cook in Manual Mode, prepare your ingredients according to your recipe.
Note
The temperature can not be over 260 F (127· C) for boiling or steaming food
with water.
PREHEATING
- Place the cooking pot onto the cooker base.
- Press Manual to toggle between Manual Mode 1 and Manual Mode 2 (press the button twice to enter Manual Mode 2).
- To change the cooking temperature, press the Temp/Time button. When the cooking temperature blinks, use the Control Dial to increase or decrease the temperature.
- To change the cooking time, press the Temp/Time button. When the cooking time blinks, use the Control Dial to increase or decrease the time.
- Once you’ve selected the settings, press the Start button to start preheating. The preheating lights are on.
COOKING
- Once the cooking bar lights turn on, wait for a few minutes till the temperature gets stable, then the display will count down the time, adding your ingredients to the cooking pot .
- When the timer ends, a beep will sound several times, and the machine enters automatic keep warm mode.
- Press Cancel if you want to finish cooking before the timer runs out .
KEEP WARM
- When cooking ends, the cooker automatically enters Keep Warm mode for up to twelve hours. Then display will show “Keep Warm”. You can press Keep Warm anytime before or during cooking to cancel the automatic Keep Warm.
- When the timer ends, a beep will sound several times, and the machine enters standby mode.
WARNING
Be careful when selecting high temperatures. If unmonitored, food may burn in
this setting.
Do not use the lid and leave your cooker unattended while using a temperature
higher than 210· F (99· C).
DELAY START
Use Delay Start to cook for for a given period.
How to Delay Start?

Place the cooking pot onto the cooker base.

Select “Braise” “Slow Cook” or “Manual 1” mode, and press the Temp/Time button to set the cooking time & temperature as required.

Press Delay Start. The cooking time on the control panel blinks.
To use the default delay start cooking time, proceed to step 4.
To change the delay start cooking time, use the Control Dial to increase or decrease the delay start cooking time. -
Press Start to delay start cooking.
KEEP WARM
Use Keep Warm to hold cooked foods at low heat until you’re ready to serve.
How to Keep Warm?

Place the cooking pot on the cooker base.
-
Press Keep Warm. The cooking time on the control panel blinks.
To use the default keep warm time, proceed to step 3. To change the keep warm time, use the Control Dial to increase or decrease the keep warm time. -
Press Start to start warming. When the temperature rises to 175· F (so· C), the lights for Keep Warm are on, and the machine starts counting down the time.

When you’ re ready to serve, press Cancel.
CLEANING & CARE
Clean your electric Dutch oven after each use. Always unplug the unit from the wall outlet and let all parts cool to room temperature before cleaning. Before storing, ensure that all surfaces are dry.
CLEAN BEFORE USE
- We recommend handwashing to extend the life of the cooking pot & lid to preserve the enameled coating.
- Dishwahser safe.
- If food residue sticks on the cooking pot or lid, fill the pot with hot water or immerse the pot lid in hot water for a few hours for easy cleaning.
- Use a non-abrasive cleanser or liquid dish soap with a nylon pad or brush to remove the necessary scrubbing.
- Dry all the exterior surfaces before placing them in the cooker base.
COOKER BASE & POWER CORD:
- Never put the cooker base and power cord in the dishwasher or immerse them in water or other liquid.
- Wipe the inside and outside of the cooker base and power cord clean with a soft, damp cloth or sponge. Dry before inserting the inner pot.
RUST PRECAUTIONS
The rim of the lid and the pot is not enameled and tends to get rusted if you
do not dry it sufficiently after being washed or leave it on a draining board
to drip dry or clean in the dishwasher. We recommend rubbing a small amount of
cooking oil around the rim to create a seal and prevent rust before and after
each use and dry it thoroughly after cleaning.
WARRANTY
LIMITED WARRANTY
Your satisfaction is very important to us at Mioos, which is why we offer a
1-year limited warranty on our Electric Dutch Oven.
When this appliance is operated and maintained in accordance with written
instructions attached to or furnished with the product, Mioos will pay for
either (i) repair labor to correct defects in materials or workmanship that
existed when this appliance was purchased or (ii), at its sole and exclusive
discretion, replace the appliance for a period of one (1) year from the date
of purchase. In the event that your appliance is replaced, the Limited
Warranty on the replacement appliance will expire at the original date (12
months from the original purchase date).
This Limited Warranty extends only to the original purchaser and use of the
appliance in the United States of America. This warranty does not cover units
that are used outside of the United States of America.
Any modification or attempted modification to your appliance may interfere
with the safe operation of the appliance and will void this Limited Warranty.
This Limited Warranty does not apply with respect to any appliance or any part
thereof that has been altered or modified from its factory settings unless
such alterations or modifications were expressly authorized by a Mioos
representative.
Mioos is not responsible for shipping costs related to warranty service, save
and except for shipping costs associated with the return of your appliance as
provided herein.
LIMITATION AND EXCLUSIONS
The liability of Mioos, if any, for any allegedly defective appliance or part
shall in no circumstances exceed the purchase price of a comparable
replacement appliance.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
- Damage resulting from accident. alteration. misuse. abuse. neglect, unreasonable use. use contrary to the operating instructions. normal wear and tear. commercial use. improper assembly. disassembly. failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance, fire. flood, acts of God, or repair by anyone other than an authorized Mioos Representative.
- Repairs where your appliance is used for other than normal. single-family household use or when it is used in a manner that is contrary to published user or operator instructions.
- Use of unauthorized parts and accessories. or repairs to parts and systems resulting from unauthorized repairs or modifications made to this appliance. The cost of repair or replacement under these excluded circumstances shall be borne by you.

IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR IMPLIED
WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY LIMITED TO ONE YEAR
OR THE SHORTEST PERIOD ALLOWED BY LAW.
Some states do not allow limitations to the duration of implied warranties of

service or repair of this appliance other than the representations contained
in this warranty.

YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE PRODUCT
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, MIOOS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR
INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE
USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE APPLIANCE OR DAMAGES CONCERNING ANY ECONOMIC LOSS,
PERSONAL INJURY LOSS OF PROPERTY. LOSS OF REVENUES OR PROFITS, LOSS OF
ENJOYMENT OR USE, COSTS OF REMOVAL, INSTALLATION, OR OTHER CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES OF WHATSOEVER NATURE.
You the buyer may have other rights and remedies under your state’s or
province’s applicable laws, which are in addition to any right or remedy which
