Alexa Built-in Quick Start Guide for XUV700
When you activate Alexa Built-in voice technology in your XUV700, you can ask to play music, listen to audiobooks, hear the news, check the weather, control smart home devices, get directions, find parking, and more — all with your voice, and all while you keep your hands on the wheel and eyes on the road. The more you talk to Alexa, the more Alexa adapts to your personal speech patterns, vocabulary, and preferences.
Start using Alexa in your XUV700
- Open the menu in your XUV700, go to Alexa > Alexa Settings and press „Get Started“. To use Alexa, you must sign in to Amazon with your Amazon Account. Therefore go to amazon.com/code and enter the displayed code on your head unit.
- Once signed-in, push the PTT button on the steering wheel, or simply say “Alexa”.

- Sign-in your Alexa App using Amazon Prime account credentials
- On the Alexa App page, click on More
- On the More page, click on Settings
- On the Settings page, click on Music & Podcasts
- On the Music & Podcasts page, click on Your Default Services
- On the Defaults page, change the default to Amazon Music for Music, Artists & Genre stations and Podcasts services
