INTRODUCTION

IMPORTANT: Read this manual before using the Blackoul-R™ Rechargeable Headlam. Failure lo follow these instructions could result in damage to the headlamp, personal injury, or proper damage. Safely store this manual for future reference.

Your Police Security® Blackout-R'” Rechargeable Headlamp is perfect for everyday use. It provides a powerful, portable light source for use around the home, office, or anywhere you need extra light.

Using the Blackout•R- lighting Modes:
Press the On/Off switch to turn on the headlamp (lmoge A).
Lightly press the On/Off switch to cycle through the mode sequence.

1. Mode 1: High
2. Mode 2: Low
3. Mode 3: Flosh

Using Slide Focus
Push the heodlamp head away from the body to reveal the spot light / locus beom.
Pull the heodlamp heod bock to the body to reveol the flood light / wide beam (Image B).
Charging the Blackout-r: Open the reor battery pock cover and conned the USB C tenninal to the USB C Port (Image C) and the USB terminal to a standard USB power source ta recharge the headlamp. The charge indicator light turns red while battery recharges. The charge indicator light will turn green when the bottery is ful recharged. To ensure the bottery is fully charged, charge your headlamp using a 5V/2A USB charging adapter and the included charging cable.

CHARGE TIME IS UP TO 3 HOURS AND IO MINUTES

Police Security® cannot be held responsible for any damage or accident caused by using an alternative charging source other thon the USB charging cable supplied with this product. Under optimum conditions and with a full charge, the Blackout-R” Rechargeable Headlamp can be used for up to 10 hours.

CHARGE FULLY BEFORE FIRST USE

• A Li-polymer rechargeable battery has been factory-installed in your Blockoul-R”.
• The rechargeable battery con be charged up lo 500 limes before a noticeable decrease in battery capacity.
• Only the coble included should be used lo charge your headlamp.

Safety precautions:

• Use on AC USB charging adapters or on appropriate USB power outlet when charging the Blackout-R”. Do not attempt to charge the Blackout-R” with an adapter that is not compatible as this could result in o lire, damage to the Blackout-R™ or personal injury.
• If the USB cable comes into contact with water, place it in a dry location at room temperature, on a soft absorbent towel and allow lo dry thoroughly. Do not connect or operate the cable until it is completely free of moisture. Exposure to damp or wet conditions could cause electrocution or damage to the headlamp.
• Do not change in combination with an extension cord, electrical generator, or step-up transformers.

Care and Maintenance

• Store the Blackaut-R™ in a clean and dry area. The Blackout-R™ may also be stored in o vehicle for use in roadside emergencies. If kept in the vehicle, tt is recommended that the battery be recharged periodically to ensure maximum performance in on an emergency. Keep in a secure ond sole place inside the vehicle to prevent damage to the headlamp and battery.

• To dean the Blackout-R”, wipe with a soft cloth dampened with a soap and water solution. Do not immerse or submerge any port of Blackout-R™ in water or ony other solvent. Never use solvents or cleaning agents containing petroleum (petrol, kerosene, oil), paint thinner, turpentine, alcohol, or ammonia. Harsh materials like these can damage surfaces.

• Police Security® Flashlights is not responsible for any damage caused by using any other methods of charging.

• Do not charge in the vicinity of flammable liquids or materials.

• Always connect to power in o dry and suitable location

• All repairs should on be carried out by qualified service personnel. Do not open the exterior casing of the Blackout-R™, os there are no user-serviceable ports inside.
  Opening or visible attempts to open or repair the Blackout-R” may cause damage to the product or personal injury. Under normal conditions, LED chips should not wear out and do not need to be replaced. Warronty is negated ii Blockout-R” exterior casing is opened.

• The lithium power battery is permanent and should not be removed for any reason.

• Do not attempt to replace the rechargeable battery that comes with the product. Using other batteries could cause a spark, short circuit or overheating.

• Never attempt to open the battery pack. liquid ejected from batteries may cause irritations or burns.

• Fully charge the battery before use.

• Charge regularly for the best battery life.

• Do not expose the battery to fire or extreme heat.

• Never attempt to incinerate batteries as they may leak or explode.

• Under extreme conditions, liquid may be ejected from the buttery.

• If liquid comes in contact with the skin or eyes, immediately flush the affected area with water and seek medical attention.

This product contains o Li-polymer battery formulated from environmentally sensitive materials. This product must be disposed of properly with due core for the environment. Please return this product lo your local recycling center for proper disposal.
