Product Usage Instructions

• Changing Batteries in Remote Controller:
  • Unscrew the battery cover using a Phillips head screwdriver (not included).
  • Install 2 AAA (LR03) 1.5V alkaline batteries (not included) with polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the battery compartment.
  • Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw.
  • If the LED on the remote controller does not light up during play or if the vehicle does not respond well after recharging, replace the batteries.
• Charging Instructions for Vehicle:
  • The vehicle is powered by a permanently installed Lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery and must be fully charged before first use.
  • Slide the power switch to OFF (0/).
  • Open the charge cord cover.
  • Connect the charge cord to a 5V/2A USB power adapter (not included).
  • Charging will begin when the cord is connected. A red LED on the vehicle will indicate that charging is in progress.
  • The LED will turn green but remain on for a while when the vehicle is fully charged.

INSTALLATION SET UP

A. REMOTE CONTROLLER BATTERY INSTALLATION

1. Unscrew the battery cover with a Phillips head screwdriver (not included).
2. Install 2 AAA (LR03) 1.5V alkaline batteries (not included) with polarity (+/-) as shown inside the battery compartment. For longer life, use alkaline batteries.
3. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw.
4. Replace batteries in the remote controller if the LED on the remote controller does not go on during playing or if the vehicle does not respond well after a recharge.

B. CHARGING THE VEHICLE

The vehicle is powered by a permanently installed Lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery, and it must be fully charged before first use.

1. Slide the power switch to OFF (0/ ).
2. Open the charge cord cover.
3. Connect the charge cord to a 5V/2A USB power adapter (not included).
4. Charging will begin when the cord is connected. A red LED on the vehicle will be on as the vehicle is charging.
5. The LED will turn green but remain on for a while when the vehicle is fully charged. Unplug the charge cord when charging is complete. A full charge will usually take approximately 120 minutes. Charging time may vary.
6. Close the charge cord cover.
7. Recharge the vehicle if the vehicle begins to run slowly or does not respond.
   • NOTE: The power switch must be in the OFF (0/ ) position when charging the vehicle.

TIP: The battery will be hot after play. Wait at least 10 to 15 minutes until the battery cools down before recharging the vehicle.

C. PAIRING THE REMOTE CONTROLLER AND VEHICLE

1. Slide the power switch to ON (I) on the vehicle.
2. Push the remote controller’s driving control joystick forward/backward after switching on the vehicle.
3. Pairing is complete when the LED changes from flashing red to solid red on the remote controller.
   • NOTE: If the vehicle does not respond to the remote controller after pairing, switch the vehicle off and then back on to try pairing again or replace the batteries in the remote controller if the batteries are drained.

TIP: The vehicle will go into sleep mode if left idle for approximately 15 minutes to preserve battery life. To resume normal play, slide the vehicle’s power switch to OFF then ON again, and then push the remote controller’s driving control joystick forward/backward to pair the vehicle and remote controller.

D. STEERING ALIGNMENT

1. Check the vehicle’s steering alignment before playing by driving it forward to see if it is driving straight.
2. If the vehicle automatically steers toward the right/left, turn the steering adjuster dial to the opposite direction and adjust until it runs in a straight line.

CONTROLS

SKILL CHECK! Remember, steering directions are flipped on the remote controller when you are driving backward!

NOTE: The operating range of the remote controller is up to 30 m (98 ft).

GLOW-IN-THE-DARK

1. Place the vehicle near a light.
2. Glows in the dark!
   • Place the vehicle approximately 152 cm (5 feet) away from a light source for approximately 30 seconds.
   • Placing the vehicle closer will not intensify the “glow-in-the-dark” feature.
   • The glow-in-the-dark feature will last longer if you do not expose this product to intense heat or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.

STORAGE

• Store the remote controller under the vehicle.
