UY0051 Solar Panel Compatible with SimpliSafe Outdoor Security Camera
Step1. Secure the mount and the solar panel to the mount
NOTE:
To make the solar panel more waterproof ,please install according to No.1
Step2. Turn on the switch tothe “ON”
Step3. Connect the Camera
Insert the USB head into the charging port of camera.There is a charging mark
on the camera APP later. If the charging symbol does not appear, put the solar
panel under the strong sunshine for a fully .If it is cloudy ,extend the time
appropriately,let the battery inside the solar panel charger for a period of
time ,then insert the USB cable into the camera.
FAQ:
Q: Why can't I see the charging mark on the APP?
A: We have installed a battery inside of the solar panel. The solar panel charges the built-in battery first, and then charges the camera battery after the built-in one is fully charged. The charging time for the Cam is only 5-15 mins, while charging the built-in battery takes at least 4 hours. So we can see the charging mark for only 10 ~20minutes in a day. And in the rest, we won’ t see it.
Q: Why hasn't the power of the camera increased after several days of use?
A: 1. Weather factors: cold, cloudy and overcast weather will affect the efficiency of solar energy. 2. The working frequency of the Cam. If the Cam is set with high sensitivity, and the power consumed every day exceeds the supply of solar energy, the power will reduce; 3. Angle and position of the solar panel: confirm whether the sun can irradiate the solar panel vertically at noon, and whether it is covered by branches or the shadow of the building.
