The right method to apply fingerprint

Note : When the red light on the fingerprint collection window flashes, press your finger onto the window and then remove your finger after a beep; press your finger again after 2 seconds, if you hear two long beeps, the collection is successfully completed.

Indication of the lock state

1. The operation succeeded: green light on, with two long beeps.
2. The operation failed: red light on, with two short beeps.
3. Unlocking indication: The electric engine makes a rolling sound for the first time, which indicates the lock is in door open state;
4. Locking indication: electric engine makes a rolling sound for the second time, which indicates the lock is in door closed state.
5. Passage mode indication: the lock makes a beep, and after the successful setup, the green indicator light flashes every 5 seconds.

Factory default setting:

Specific operations:

1. Press on the battery cover button, slide the battery cover upward and remove it, you can see one hole at each side, and inside each hole, there is a button for setup;
2. Remove either of the four batteries, pressing the buttons on the front side to confirm the power is successfully cut off, then insert into the two holes to press the buttons inside with the two Hex wrenches supplied at the same time, hold it tight (not to release), and reload the battery. The lock is then re-powered, if you hear a toot sound after seconds, the initialization of the lock is successfully completed, and you may loose the two Hex wrenches.

Note: After initialization of the lock, all the enrolled fingerprints and PIN in the lock are cleared, and the lock

Note: 1 Under the factory default setting, any fingerprint can unlock the lock. 2 After successful enrollment of the first master fingerprint, the lock will only accept enrolled fingerprint for access, and the default password will be deleted.

Temporary fingerprint user: For those who have access to the door temporarily (e.g. Maid, Workers, Friends). You can delete the temporary fingerprint any time vou like.

Setup of PIN

Notes:

1. PIN must be in 11 digits and must not start with “0”.
2. When setting the PIN, if input a PIN start with “O”, the PIN will be invalid and cannot open the door.

Deletion of master fingerprint user group

Notes:

1. Once the deletion of the master fingerprint user group is completed, the lock will return to the factory default setting, all the fingerprints will be deleted and the PIN reset to the factory setting.
2. Another method to set the lock back to factory setting (initialization of lock): Press on the battery cover button, slide the battery cover upward and remove it, you can see one onehole at each side, and inside each hole, there is a button for setup; Remove either of the four batteries, pressing the buttons on the front side to confirm the power is successfully cut off, then insert into the two holes to press the buttons inside with the two Hex wrenches supplied at the same time, hold it tight (not to release), and reload the battery. The lock is then re-powered, if you hear a toot sound after 5 seconds, the initialization of the lock is successfully completed and you may lose the two Hex wrenches.

Setup of passage mode

Press and hold Button “0” within 5 seconds after the door opened, and the passage mode is set.

Cancellation of passage mode

When the lock is in passage mode, place an enrolled fingerprint or input the valid Pl to cancel the passage mode.

Use of emergency key

Use of external power

If it fails to operate the lock normally due to insufficient voltage, use a 9V battery for emergency power supply (pay attention to the positive and negative poles of the battery), and then place an enrolled fingerprint or input the PIN to onen the door

Change of batteries

Notes:

1. When loading the batteries, operate correctly with attention to the sign of positive and negative poles in the battery box!
2. When changing batteries, never mix the new battery with the used one.
3. Please preserve the environment by handing over the used batteries to a designated place for reclaim.

Solution for the common error

Apply a valid fingerprint

Note:

1. Keep your fingers clean when using this product.
2. The dirt on the surface of the fingerprint collection window after some time in use may affect normal use. Therefore please keep it clean.
3. The new lock which is just out of the factory can be unlocked with any fingerprint.
4. When opening the door, if the lock beeps an alarm due to insufficient voltage, and the indicator light flashes red, please change the batteries.
5. This product can save 120 fingerprints; we suggest each user enroll in at least two fingerprint templates.
6. Do not clean the lock surface with a corrosive substance, or else the protection layer may be damaged and thus influence the gloss of the lock surface. Therefore please clean the lock surface periodically with “furniture polish wax” (e.g. “Pledge”).
7. If the latch bolt fails to draw back and forth freely, or the door cannot be closed normally due to the distortion of the door, please adjust the strike plate to a proper position.
8.  When the fingerprint and PIN fail to open the door, use the mechanical key; please keep the mechanical key in the proper place.
