Commissioning
Before plugging in, check to see that the rated mains voltage and mains frequency, as stated on the rating label, match your power supply. Devices such as this one, which generate direct current, may have an effect on basic residualcurrent circuit breakers. Use type F or better, with a release current of max. 30 mA.
Self-test
Insert mains supply plug. The warning display (3) and the operating display (4) light up in succession for approx. 1 second.
Use
Charging battery pack
Insert battery pack (1) up to the stop in the charging compartment (2). The operating display (4) flashes and the battery is charged.
When the battery pack is fully charged, the operating display (4) lights up continuously.
The battery pack can remain in the battery charger and is therefore always ready for use.
Fault
Warning display (3) lights up continuously
- Battery pack is not charged. Excessive/ Insufficient temperature. When the temperature of the battery pack is between 0 °C and 50 °C, the charging process begins automatically
Warning display (3) flashes
- Battery pack is defective. Remove the battery pack immediately from the charger.
- Short circuit between the charging contacts. Check the contacts for foreign bodies.
