Can the needle be changed?****
There is one extra needle included. It appears to not be a typical needle from a conventional player.
Do vintage record players damage records?****
Vinyl records played on suitcase record players could potentially be harmed, but this depends on the model’s build quality. Conversely, records can also be harmed by standard turntables; it just depends on how well-made they are.
Do vintage turntables sound better?****
Generally speaking, a vintage turntable will create better sound due to its superior build and structure. But that absolutely relies on how well that deck’s components are doing. If even one of them is off, or if your stylus isn’t up to par, that cosy old sound devolves into a muddy mess.
Can you leave a record on the turntable?****
Ideally, you should only use your record while keeping it on your sleeve. You expose the vinyl record to dirt and dust if you leave it on the platter or for a long time. The likelihood of scratching the record’s surface increases if you leave it on the turntable frequently.
How do you connect a vintage turntable to a receiver?****
Simply connect the audio signal line from the turntable to one of the analogue audio inputs on the receiver. Frequently, these inputs are designated as Auxiliary, Line In, Analog In, etc. If necessary, you can even use the “CD” or “Tape” input on your receiver. Other connections are not necessary.
Why are vintage turntables so expensive?****
They need to be manufactured according to strict requirements because they are mechanical analogue devices with many moving parts. This applies to both modern and old turntables.
Is it worth buying a vintage turntable?****

Does water ruin vinyl records?****
Records on vinyl are not harmed by water. There is a good probability that they will be damaged if the centre label, outer jacket, or inner sleeve of your record became wet. Water does not damage vinyl records, therefore if your records get wet, you should be fine.
Why do record players need to be grounded?****
If your electrical panel has a ground, any errant electricity will go through the wire and trigger the circuit breaker, cutting off the flow of electricity. Furthermore, that wire needs to be attached to something that is then linked to the outside “Ground” or earth.

I experienced that as well. no power cord! I now need to return and reorder. The vendor is required to take action.
What kind of needle do you purchase to replace the worn-out one?****
If you’ve already used the replacement, I assume they are universal needles. It comes with one. They are available at any record store. Simply bring your player in, and they will walk you through the process.
My new one, which I received for Christmas, won’t turn. I have made every attempt. Exists a video that demonstrates troubleshooting?****
These record players were gone through three times. Eventually gave up and switched to a different brand.
