Oven Sensor and Thermistor Related Errors (F1, F2, F22, F23, F28, F29,

F33, F34)

  • Troubleshooting Steps:
    • Check Sensor Connection: Ensure the oven sensor is securely connected to the control board.
    • Test Sensor: Use a multimeter to measure the resistance of the sensor. It should read approximately 1080-1090 ohms at room temperature. Replace the sensor if it deviates significantly from this range.
    • Inspect Wiring: Look for any damaged or shorted wires between the sensor and the control board and repair or replace as needed.

Key and Communication Errors (F3, F11, CF7, CF8)

  • Troubleshooting Steps:
    • Clean Control Panel: Clean the control panel and keypad to remove any debris or spills that might cause shorts.
    • Check Wiring Connections: Ensure all ribbon cables and wires between the control board and keypad are secure and undamaged.
    • Reset the Range: Unplug the range for a few minutes to reset the control board. Plug it back in to see if the error persists.
    • Replace Control Board or Keypad: If the error continues, the keypad or control board might need replacement.

Overheating Errors (F6, F24, F30)

  • Troubleshooting Steps:
    • Verify Oven Use: Ensure the range is not in a self-clean mode or settings that naturally increase the oven’s temperature.
    • Check Ventilation: Ensure the oven is properly ventilated and the fan is operating as expected.
    • Inspect Door Seal: Check the door seal for any damage that might be causing heat to escape.

Heating and Fan Errors (F9, F20, F26, F31, CFF, F7, F27)

  • Troubleshooting Steps:
    • Check Heating Elements: Inspect the bake and broil elements for visible damage. Use a multimeter to check for continuity. Replace any faulty elements.
    • Verify Fan Operation: Ensure the convection and cooling fans are operational and not obstructed.
    • Inspect Door Lock Mechanism: For door lock errors, ensure the lock mechanism is clean and moves freely. Check the wiring and replace the lock assembly if it’s malfunctioning.

Cooktop Sensor and IGBT Errors (CF1 to CF6, CFA, CFC)

  • Troubleshooting Steps:
    • Sensor Inspection: Check the cooktop sensors for damage or disconnection. Replace sensors showing open or short circuits.
    • IGBT Module Check: Inspect the IGBT modules for signs of overheating or damage. These components should be checked by a professional due to the complexity of the system.
    • Reset Error Codes: After addressing the issue, reset the error codes by unplugging the range for a few minutes.

Over Current and Voltage Errors (CFA, CFC)

  • Troubleshooting Steps:
    • Electrical Supply Check: Verify that the electrical supply to the range matches the specifications. An over voltage protector might be needed if surges are common in your area.
    • Inspect Power Cord and Outlet: Ensure the power cord and outlet are in good condition and the cord is properly connected to the range.

Probe Sensor Errors (F8, F25)

  • Troubleshooting Steps:
    • Check Probe Connection: Ensure the probe is fully inserted and the connection is clean.
    • Test Probe: Use a multimeter to test the probe’s resistance. Replace the probe if its resistance is outside the normal range.
    • Inspect Wiring: Look for damaged wires between the probe and the control board.
