KJ402F Series Air Purifier
USER MANUAL
Before use
Before using this product, please read the manual carefully and keep it for
future reference. Note: The illustrations of the product, accessories, and
user interface in this user manual are for reference purposes only. The actual
product and its functions may vary due to product enhancements.
What’s included in the box: Air purifier Main Unit, Power Adapter(Placed
inside the HEPA filter, please take it out before use), User Manual.

1 .Rotate the filter counterclockwise and remove it.
2 .Remove the filter from its plastic packaging and place the filter back into the air purifier.
3 .Rotate the filter upper part and twist clockwise to lock.

4 .Place the purifier on a flat, stable surface with the display facing up. Allow at least 15 inches/38 cm of clearance on all sides. Keep away from anything that would block airflow, such as curtains.
How to use
Connect to an outlet
Connect one end of the power adapter to the power cord connector and plug the
other end into an outlet.
Tips
For better purification, it is recommended to keep doors and windows closed
when using the air purifier.
Standby Mode
After connecting to an outlet, the air purifier enters the self-test
procedure, and then stay in the Standby Mode. The button will be dim Red,
while all of the other lights are off.
ON/OFF
Press the **** button to power on (defaults to Automatic Mode) or to power
off.
Fan Speed
Press the **** button to change the fan speed while the air purifier is
powered on. The Fan Speed changes one step at a time, cycling through Low,
Medium, High to Turbo. Refer to the indicator status as below.

Sleep Mode
Press the button to enter the Sleep Mode. The button will be
highlighted in White. After 10 seconds all of the lights will go off. To
reactivate the screen, simply touch any button.
Auto Mode
Touch the **** button to enter the Automatic Mode. The air purifier will
automatically adjusts the Fan Speed according to the real-time air quality
index.
Timer
Timer can be set from 2-4-8 H on the control panel and 1-12H through the
mobile APP.
Child Lock
(1) Child Lock: Long press the button for 5 seconds, the air purifier
will enter Child Lock Mode. The button will be highlighted in Red.
(2) Long press the button for 3 seconds, the child lock mode will be
unlocked. The button will be back to dim White.
Light OFF
Press the **** button, all of the lights on the control panel will be turned
off. To light up the light, simply touch any gy button.
Filter Replacement
When the filter service life reaches the set time (approximately 6 months),
the icon will highlight in red, reminding the user to replace the filter.
Please refer to the diagram on the right. First, unplug the power adaptor.
Then, Turn the upper part of the purifier (the part with the control panel)
counterclockwise and remove it to reveal the old filter. Replace the old
filter with a new one and secure the inlet grille by turning it clockwise
until it locks in place according to the positioning mark.

Reset Filter
Long-press the button for 3 seconds. Afterward, all the panel lights on
the control panel will flash for 3 times, and the button will highlight
in white. At this point, the filter life is be reset.
Air Quality Indicator
Three-color lights change colors according to the real-time air quality.

WiFi **** How to connect APP
Long press the button for 3 seconds to enter the WIFI distribution mode when the air purifier is powered on. ( ensure that the unit power-on switch button is illuminated with a white light) . The icon will flash for 3 minutes. If the WIFI is connected successfully, the ****icon will light up. If the WiFi is not connected successfully within 3 minutes, the air purifier will exit the WIFI distribution mode.
Once power on , WiFi will connect to the last connected device by default.
If you need to reset the WiFi or change the connected mobile device, restart
the device and follow these steps again.

Take out the air purifier, connect to the power outlet, and turn on the air
purifier.

Long press the button until the WIFI icon flashes.

How to set your Air Purifier into the WiFi(Android/ios):

1.Download App “Tuya Smart”

2.Turn on your Tuya Smart App
3.If first time, Please click agree to proceed. Then you can sign up/log
in/try as a guest. If you want to use different device to control it, we
suggest you can sign up an account and log in. If notifications permission is
required, you can click allow

4.Turn on the WiFi, Location and Bluetooth function
5.Click Home, Click Add device Button.(Or click the upper right to click add device)
6.When requesting any permissions, click continue and then click allow or
relevant ones. And if it requires to turn on bluetooth or Wi-Fi, click and
allow.

7.Long press the fan icon until you hear beep sound.
8.Discover the devices, and press add
9.Type the password of the WiFi that you’re connecting and you’re going to set this Air Purifier onto. And click Next. (Only 2.4 GHz WiFi is available)
10.Wait and until it shows “Added successfully”, click Done
11.App will take you to the control panel. You can set it as you wish.If you exit from this control panel, get to home and you can click “Crecolife KJ402F” to reenter the control panel.
12.Now you can control it remotely online. After proper set, only internet connection is required to control your Air Purifier.
How to use:
Tuya APP Troubleshooting:
The air purifier, mobile phone and router must be in the same network. Only
2.4GHz WiFi network is supported here.If you are using a dual-band WiFi
router,make sure to select 2.4GHz. Keep your air purifier within 15 feet of
your WiFi router to maintain optimal connection.
Make sure you are using a visible WiFi network that is not hidden.VPN(Virtual Private Network) should be deactivated while using the Tuya app.

Care &Maintenance
Cleaning the Smart Air Purifier
- Unplug before cleaning.
- Wipe the outside of the air purifier with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, wipe the housing with a damp cloth, then immediately wipe it dry.
- Vacuum the inside of the air purifier.
Do not clean with abrasive chemicals or flammable cleaning agents.
Cleaning the Filter
The outer pre-filter should be cleaned every 2-4 weeks to increase efficiency
and extend the life of your filter. Clean the pre-filter using a soft brush or
vacuum hose to remove hair, dust, and large particles. Do not clean the filter
with water or other liquids.
Cleaning the Air Quality Sensor
The Air Quality Sensor can be blocked by dust, which affects the sensor’s
accuracy. Clean the sensor every 3 months. Using your air purifier in an
environment with more dust may mean you will need to clean the sensor more
often.
- Unplug the air purifier.
- Place the end of a vacuum cleaner over the sensor openings.
- Turn the vacuum on for at least 10 seconds to clean out dust.
Storage
If not using the air purifier for an extended period of time, wrap both the
air purifier and the filter in plastic packaging and store in a dry place to
avoid moisture damage.
Trouble Shooting
Problem | Possible Solution |

Airflow is significantly reduced.| Make sure the filter is removed from its
packaging and properly in place (see page 3).
Tap to increase the fan speed.
Leave 15 inches /38 cm of clearance on all sides of the air purifier.
The pre-filter may be clogged by large particles, such as hair or int,
blocking airflow. Clean the pre-filter (see page 9).
Replace the filter (see page 6).
Air purifier makes an unusual noise while the fan is on.| Make sure the filter
is properly in place with plastic packaging removed (see page 3),
Make sure the air purifier is operating on a hard, flat, level surface.

The air purifier may be damaged, or a foreign object may be inside.
Stop using the air purifier and contact Customer Support (see page 16). Do not
try to repair the air purifier
Strange smell coming from the air purifier| Clean the filter, or replace if

Make sure not to use your air purifier in an area with high humidity or while
diffusing essential oils.
Poor air purification quality| Tap to increase the fan speed.
Make sure no objects are blocking the sides or top of the air purifier (the
inlet or outlet).

page 3).
Close doors and windows while using the air purifier.
If the room is larger than 403 ft²/37 m², air purification will take longer

Warning
- Turn off and unplug the purifier before moving it.
- The purifier cannot turn on when the inlet grille is not installed properly.
- Maintain a distance of at least 10cm between the air inlets and walls or other objects.
- Frequently remove dust, hair, and other particles from the outer mesh screen of the filter, so as to reduce the chance of bacteria growth.
- Remove dust, hair, and particles from the purifier’s air inlets to prevent a reduction of air intake.
- Cover the air outlet to prevent dust, hair, and other particles from falling in when the purifier is left unused for a long time.
To avoid fire, electric shocks, or other damage, use the power cord and electrical outlet as instructed below:
- Do not excessively pull, twist or bend the power adaptor, as this may expose or break the adaptor’s core.
- The power adaptor must be plugged into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Use the power adaptor that was provided with the purifier, do not use any third party power adaptors.
- Always unplug the purifier before carrying out maintenance to or moving the air purifier.
- When the power adaptor is damaged, it must be replaced with a genuine power adaptor purchased from the manufacturer or after-sales service department.
- Immediately stop using the purifier when it makes unusual sounds, gives off bad odors, overheats, or its fan rotates irregularly.
- Do not stick foreign objects into the protective parts, movable parts, air nlets, or air outlets.
- Keep objects such as hairs or fabrics away from the purifier to avoid blocking the air inlets or air outlets.
- When using in conjunction with gas-fueled appliances (such as gas stoves, gas heaters), please ventilate sufficiently to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning.
- Do not pour liquids, nor throw powders or other small substances into the purifier’s air outlet.
- Do not use the purifier in the following circumstances, as they may result in electric shocks, fire, or other damage:
- Near open flames, such as candles, incense burners, stoves, fireplaces, cigarettes, firecrackers, lighters, multipurpose torches, candle lighters, or fire pans.
- Near appliances that generate high temperatures, such as electric heaters, fan heaters, electric foot warmers, electric stoves, electric irons.
- In unstable locations where the purifier can easily fall over.
- In environments that are extremely hot, humid, or damp, such as bathrooms.
- Make sure no inflammable objects get into the purifier.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

warranty claim number.
Limited Warranty:
This limited warranty applies only to the repair or replacement of any
manufactured or supplied part of this product which, upon inspection by we
authorized personnel, proves to have failed in normal use due to defects in
material or workmanship. The sole responsibility of we under this Limited
Warranty is, in its sole discretion, to either repair or replace a duly
registered product (or defective part thereof) with the same or a comparable
model within a reasonable period of time, subject to the following exclusions,
limitations, statutory rights, and warranty claim procedures. This Limited
Warranty is exclusive, and we expressly disclaims all other or additional
warranties, whether written or oral, expressed or implied, including, but not
limited to, warranties of merchantability, workmanship, or fitness for a
particular purpose.
Exclusions:
A. This Limited Warranty does not apply, or is void, as to any product or part
damaged by
(1) accident, misuse, abuse, or lack of reasonable care or normal maintenance;
(2) installation or operation under conditions other than those recommended by
Factory;
(3) subjecting the product to any but the specified voltage;
(4) servicing or disassembly by unauthorized personnel;
(5) removing or defacing the serial number;
B. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO SHIPPING CHARGES FOR PRODUCT
SHIPPED TO OR FROM THE FACTORY OR DESIGNATED SERVICE CENTER IN CONNECTION WITH
WARRANTY CLAIMS NOR DOES IT APPLY TO ANY DAMAGES OCCURRING DURING EACH
SHIPMENT.
C. This Limited Warranty does not apply to installation, removal, re-
installation, and/or related expenses. This Limited Warranty does not apply to
replaceable filters and high-energy grid wires.
Limitations:
Factory shall not be liable for property, incidental, and/or consequential
damages of any kind and, unless otherwise prescribed by applicable state law,
Factory shall not be liable for personal injury resulting from malfunctions,
defects, misuse, improper operation or installation, or alteration of an
Factory product or any part thereof. The exclusive remedy for a breach of this
Limited Warranty is the repair or replacement of the defective product. In no
case, shall liability under any other remedy prescribed by law exceed the
purchase price of the product.
Statutory Rights:
This Limited Warranty, subject to the above exclusions and limitations, gives
you specific legal rights in addition to statutory rights you may have under
applicable state law. Some states, however, do not permit the limitation or
exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so much limitation may not
apply to you.
To the extent that any provision of this Limited Warranty is inconsistent with
applicable law, such provision shall be deemed void or amended, as necessary,
to comply with such law.
