FAQ
Please check the following FAQs and corresponding solutions:
After inserting the SIM card why does the watch have no response or signal?
Answer: First of all the inserted card must be a topped-up and properly working SIM card with network service. Since this watch is a 2G watch, the SIM card must support 2G, that is, its carrier should offer the service related to the 2G network. Solution: Restart the watch after inserting the card. Please wait for a moment, because 2G watches network signal usually passes at a slower speed. When the sensor of the watch starts working, a pair of up and down arrows the symbol of the 2G network, and signal bars will appear in the upper left corner. The more bars display the stronger the signal the watch receives. If there are only 1 or 2 signal bars, the watch is in a quite weak network condition. It will turn better in the open area outside. Only when the watch receives the signal properly in a normal network condition can you get the code for registration? Note: For the 2G waterproof model, it’s the same way to insert the card into the watch. Use a medium-sized/Micro SIM card. Insert it with a chip up and notch outward (it’s also noted on the booting screen). Then, push the card inside using the card pin. Upon the sound of a click, the card is in its right place. The card cannot be pushed in with your finger. Please always use a sharp tool. For the 2G non waterproof model use the medium-size Micro SIM card. Open the back cover and gently remove the battery. The card slot is under the battery. Insert the card in the same way as inserting the SIM card into a previous mobile phone.
The signal bars display properly on the watch, but the APP prompts that the device is either offline or has been turned off. Why?
Answer: Check the signal display corner of the watch first. If there are only 2-3 signal bars but no network, the network is unstable caused by weak signal. You can go outside to an open place. Refresh the watch and wait. The network symbol a pair of up and down arrows will appear in 5 minutes. If the watch receives no signal, then it’s not connected to the Internet. Check if the SIM card is inserted properly refer to Question 1. If you get full signal bars on the watch but still cannot connect to the Internet, use the cell phone to send an SMS message pw,123456 to the watch number. Then send the reply you receive later to the engineering department. They will solve it for you according to the replied message. Meanwhile, collect the carrier name APN, MCC, and MNC information of the SIM card inserted into the watch. The case of full signal but no network connection may be caused by not supporting the carrier. Then you need to embed the carrier’s APN into the watch. E.g. APN claro.pe MCC 716 MNC10 The SMS format is as follows pw,123456, and, claro.pe71610 Use English comma only. No space and no capital letters. Note: If there is no signal, you cannot receive any reply to your sent SMS message. Meanwhile, collect the carrier name, APN, MCC, and MNC information of the SIM card inserted into the watch. The new watch cannot be turned on or off. Why?
Answer: When you receive a new watch, the battery is in a protected state because the watch has been without power for a long time. It is recommended to use an adapter with a current of less than 2A to charge the watch for about 20 minutes. Press any button and the charging symbol will be displayed, which means the watch is being charged. It usually takes 3-4 hours to be fully charged. After that, the watch can be turned on normally by pressing the power button. Note: Do not charge directly through a computer or other micro-current electronic device while there is no power for a long time. Insufficient current strength can also lead to the watch remaining dead after 30 minutes of charging.
When connecting a second cell phone to the watch it fails and prompts that This device has been added, please contact the factory to restore it. How to fix it?
Answer: Send the registration code on the watch to the factory. They will restore it for you. Each registration code can be used only once. If the code is used for a second time, the system will alert that the device has been registered. It doesn’t mean the watch has been used. Each watch has its registration code. If you input the wrong number of the code. you will not register your device but another one.
How to set the location more accurately?
Answer: The positioning system is located based on network signals and environmental factors etc which have an impact on the positioning accuracy. The positioning accuracy decreases under weak connection. The signal is stronger in urban areas than in rural areas. So the positioning accuracy in cities is higher. LBS It is located via base station equipment. Big data shows its positioning accuracy is 1,000 - 2,000 meters. GPS It is satellite-based and its positioning process needs to be done outdoors. It can even accurately position a building. WiFi Its positioning relies on indoor WiFi signal sources. It can accurately position the specific floor of a building. Note: If the positioning information still shows your previous location after you move to another place, tap the positioning button again to refresh it and there will be a prompt that it has been sent successfully. Wait for 2 minutes to update to the current location. Don’t tap it for many times. The refreshing request needs to be sent to the cell tower and then back to the watch via a network. It comes back faster with a higher network speed and slower with a lower network speed.

Where is the registration code for the watch to be connected to the APP?
- Answer: If there is only an IMEI barcode on the back cover of the watch, please check the registration code on the watch. Pay attention to two following different cases: 1.
- When only one barcode is on the back cover of the watch, the barcode is an IMEI code and cannot be used for registration. 2. There are two barcodes on the back cover, one is the registration code and the other is the IMEI code. The registration needs to be done after the SIM card is inserted in both cases.
- The registration code in the watch: Tap “Device info” to enter the secondary menu. Then go to “Registration code”. The QR code is the registration code you need. You can scan it or enter the English letters and numbers under the QR code. (Note: For a 4G watch, the registration code on this screen can be automatically obtained only after the card is inserted with signal bars and the network symbol (a pair of up and down arrows ) is properly displayed. Otherwise, you will be prompted to insert the SIM card to get the registration code. For a 2G watch, insert the card and restart the watch. Signal bars and network symbol will display after 2 minutes.)
