The Solar Pump Fountain

Preface

Thank you for purchasing our solar pump fountain,the product is tested and certified, safety,high performance products. In order to avoid unnecessary damage. the product due to improper use and maintenance, please be sure to read and understand the instructions in detail, and save this manual for future reference.

Features

The fountain life time: ≥10000 Houus.
The battery life time: Charge-discharge 300-500 times.
Delay: ≤ 3S （The pump will automatically restart within 3 seconds when sunlight recovery）
Working hours: During sunny days; 6hours max for battery.
Battery function: The battery will assist the fountain working when the sunlight is weak or the weather is bad. The battery will be charged while the solar fountain working and the solar panel has excess power.
Dry-run protection: The fountain come with capacitive water level detection, it will stop working without water.
Standby: The solar pump fountain will be activated within 1-3 seconds in the sunlight, If it’s not activated, the solar pump fountain cannot work normally.
Nozzles: 6 different spray water shape nozzles for you choose.

Important Reminders

• Keep the surface of solar panel cleaning constantly.
• Change water frequently to avoid any dirt to impede the pump.
• Put solar pump fountain under sunlight without water the battery will be charged but the solar fountain will not work.
• Water should at least 2 inch(5.0cm) deep and clean.
• Do not use solar fountain at water temperature above 113°F(45°C).
• Please do not use the solar pump fountain in dirty or corrosive water.
• For safety: any repair work should be done only by the manufacturer of the products or the facility authorized service center.

Maintenance

• Regular clean pump will increase the life of fountain.
• Clean the pump as follow:
  Step1: Remove the pump cover.
  Step2: Remove the impeller cap by placing your fingernail underneath the small lip located.
  Step3: Remove the impeller and clean the parts with water.

※ To avoid damage please don’t open the controller of solar pannel.

TO BETTER USE THE SOLAR WATER PUMP

1. Install the panel in a sunny place, (since it is fully supply by solar power, the panel must install in a suny place, so the pump can work well)
2. The water level must be exceed the dry-run protection device which in the pump (the device shows as follow picture)
3. The installed pump nozzle should be exposed to the water level.
4. When using water pipes to create a water feature, the max water height of the pump can push is 2.6 ft.

If the height of your water feature exceeds it, it is recommended that you use it to another water feature, or put something under the pump to raise the height of the pump and the water level.
WHY SOLAR PUMP STOP WORKING?

1. The water level is lower than the dry-run protection device.
2. The panel is dirty or in a shade.
3. The pump is clogged.

1. Clean the solar panels to prevent dust covering the panel from affecting the solar conversion efficiency (recommend once a week).
2. Clean the pump and filter cotton (recommend once a week, if there are many impurities in the water, the time can be shortened).
   Please follow the steps below to clean the pump (as shows in above figure):

1. Pull the filter housing together with the filter sponge and impeller from the pump body as shown above.
2. Wash all parts including the foam filter to remove debris.
3. Assemble the pump in reverse order.
4. Cover the solar panel and put the pump into the water.
5. Expose the panel to sunlight and the fountain will run again within 15 seconds

TROUBLE SHOOTING

1. Impeller is blocked – clean the solar panel and water pump according to the instructions in “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE”.
2. Make sure the water level is above the silver part.
3. Install the panel to a sunny place.
