Product Usage Instructions

Unpacking and Checking Contents

  1. Unpack the box gently and ensure the following items are present:
    • A. 24 HD Smart TV
    • B. Remote Control
    • C. AAA Batteries (2)
    • D. 12V Adaptor
    • E. AV Cable
    • F. TV Stands (2)
    • G. Screws for TV Stands (4)
    • H. Warning Sheet

TV Stand Installation

  1. If you are not wall-mounting the TV, follow these steps to attach the TV stand:
    • Lay the TV face-down on a soft, flat surface larger than the TV itself, like a sofa or towel on a table.
    • Match the stands to the installation points on the underside of the TV.
    • Using the provided screws, attach the stand to the TV at the installation points. You may need a screwdriver for this step.
    • Note: The TV is heavy, so it is recommended to have someone assist you in lifting it.

Connecting the TV

  1. To connect your new TV, refer to the following guide:
    • DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (OPTICAL): Use a TOSLINK OPTICAL AUDIO CABLE to connect your amplifier, digital receiver, or other external audio equipment.
    • HDMI: Use an HDMI CABLE for connecting a DVD player, gaming console, computer, or camera.
    • ANTENNA CABLE: Connect an antenna cable to watch free-to-air TV channels.
    • USB CABLE: Connect a USB device or plug in your USB storage device to play its contents on the TV.
    • ETHERNET CABLE: Use this cable to connect the TV to your modem for internet access. The TV also has Wi-Fi connectivity.

Remote Control Usage

Familiarize yourself with the remote control and its buttons:

  • On/Standby: Use this button to turn the TV on or off.
  • Volume: Adjust the volume using this button.
  • Input Source: Select the TV input source with this button.
  • Channel: Change the channel using this button.
  • Navigate and Select/Confirm: Use these buttons to navigate through menus and confirm selections.
  • Open Netflix: Press this button to open Netflix.
  • Open Prime Video: Press this button to open Prime Video.

On-Screen Set-up

Follow the on-screen set-up prompts to:

  • Set your preferred language, country, and time zone.
  • Connect to the internet. Note that this model does not include the Magic Remote, so you can skip the remote pairing process by pressing any button on the remote.
  • Press the confirm button to proceed to the next step.

Attach the TV stand

Unless you are wall-mounting the TV, you will need to attach its stand/legs. If you do want to wall mount the TV, see page 7 of the User Manual.

  1. Lay the TV face-down on a soft, flat surface (like the sofa, or a towel on a table) larger than the TV itself.
  2. Match the stands to the installation points on the underside of the TV.
  3. Attach the stand to the TV at the installation points using the screws provided. (Grab a screwdriver for this bit).

Which plug goes where?

Want to hook up your new TV?
Use the basic guide below to see what the plug and port should look like for different connections. You can find more of these on pages 10 – 11 of the User Manual (These cables do not come with your TV).

  • Use this to connect your amplifier, digital receiver, or other external audio equipment.
  • Use this connection for a DVD player, gaming console, computer and camera.
  • To watch free-to-air TV channels, you need an antenna connection.
  • Connect a USB device, or plug in your USB storage device to play its contents on your TV.
  • Use this cable to connect the TV to your modem for internet access. This TV also has Wi-Fi connectivity.

Get to know the remote

  • Familiarise yourself with the remote control – you’ll be spending a lot of time together.
  • Here are some of the buttons you’ll be using most often.

Note: during the remote pairing interface, please press any button on the remote to skip the process as this model does not include the Magic Remote.
