SAFETY INFORMATION

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or other injury, follow all instructions and safety guidelines.

General Safety

  • Only use the humidifier as described in this manual.
  • Place the humidifier and cord so that the humidifier will not be knocked over.
  • When not in use, turn the humidifier off and disconnect from the power source by removing the plug from the outlet.
  • Do not overfill the water tank, as this may cause electric shock.
  • Do not use the humidifier in wet environments.
  • Keep the humidifier out of reach of children.
  • Do not open the base or remove the water level sensor for self-servicing.
  • Always unplug the humidifier from the power outlet before cleaning the humidifier.
  • Always make sure the humidifier is placed on a flat, level surface before operation.
  • Only fill the water tank with purified or distilled water. Never fill the water tank with other liquids unless the manual directs.
  • Do not place the humidifier near heat sources, such as stovetops, ovens, or radiators.
  • Do not place the humidifier directly on floors, carpets, or rugs. Only place the humidifier on water-resistant surfaces.
  • Do not cover the nozzles while the humidifier is on. Doing so may damage the humidifier.
  • We recommend removing the water tank from the base before moving the humidifier.
  • Do not immerse the humidifier base, power cord, or plug in water.
  • Do not place foreign objects into the humidifier’s base or water tank.
  • Do not handle the power cord or plug with wet hands. Keep the plug and power cord away from liquids.
  • This humidifier has a polarized plug (one prong is wider than the other), which fits into a polarized outlet only one way. This is a safety feature to reduce the risk of electric shock. If the plug does not fit, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, do not use the plug in that outlet.

Caution : Risk of Leaks and Electric Shock

  • Do not add essential oils, supplemental water treatment liquids, or third-party water filters into the water tank or base. This will damage the humidifier and cause leaks. Only add essential oils to the aroma pad.
  • If the humidifier is damaged or is not functioning properly, stop using it and contact Customer Support immediately.

GETTING TO KNOW YOUR HUMIDIFIER

Getting Started

  1. Remove all packaging.

  2. Clean the water tank and water tank cover before first use.
    Note: Check to make sure that the water filter, mist tube, and tank cover are correctly in place. If not,take the part to secure it in place.

  3. Choose a hard, flat location for the humidifier at least 12 inches/ 30 cm away from any walls. The surface must be water-resistant.
    Do not place the humidifier directly on floors, carpets, or rugs.

  4. Mist should be directed away from walls, furniture, bedding, and appliances.
    NOTE : The humidity sensor is on the power cord at the back and the air intake is under the bottom of the machine, keep the humidifier away from the wall will also ensure that the sensor and air intake are working properly.

Filling & Refilling

Note : Make sure the water tank is clean before filling.

  1. Remove the water tank cover.
  2. Use the handle to remove the tank from the base. Fill the tank with room-temperature water.
    Do not fill with hot water and over the max line.

Note:

  • You can only add water to the water tank, not to the air outlet, air duct, and base directly, which will cause damage to the machine.
  • We recommend using purified and distilled water to fill the tank.
  • Using tap water may result in white dust (dried minerals) on surfaces.

Place the tank back on the base. Note that the water tank and mist tube need to be aligned, otherwise the water tank cannot be completely placed inside the machine.

Using Your Hybrid Humidifier

  1. Plug in the humidifier. The humidifier will light up, and then turn off.

  2. Press the mist level button to turn your humidifier on.

  3. The humidifier will start misting.
    Note : If there is no water in the tank, the display will show a red low water icon, and the humidifier will turn off. Fill the water tank.

  4. Press the mist level button repeatedly to cycle through mist settings: Low, Medium, and High.

  5. Optionally, use the buttons or the remote control to turn on warm mist, and activate Sleep Mode to off the display.

  6. When your room has reached your preferred humidity level, turn the humidifier to a lower setting, or turn it off. A comfortable humidity level is between 40% and 60%.

  7. Press on/off button to turn your humidifier off.

NOTE:

  1. Regarding the accumulation of water in the base of the machine, the humidifier uses ultrasonic atomizing vibration to disperse the liquid water into mist. The water tank is just a water storage tool. All are normal accumulation of water, please use it with no worries.
  2. Regarding the accumulation of water on the desktop around the machine, it means that the humidity in the room is too high, please appropriately reduce the speed of mist.
  3. The humidifier has a warm mist function, please do not touch it during the heating process of the base.

Functions

Note : The same controls are also on the included remote control

  • On/Off Button
    • Turns the humidifier on/off.
  • Mist Level Button
    • Cycles through mist level settings: low, medium and high.
  • warm Mist Button
    • Turns on warm mist function, as it is to heat the water to generate warm mist,touch again to turn off the warm function

Caution:

  • Since our machine heats the water to 100° boiling, there will be some noises under warm mist but it’s normal. It is recommended not to use it during sleep and night, try to use it only during the day, if you think it is too noisy, please put the machine a certain distance away to use.
  • Mist may be hot. Do not place your bare hands, face, or other exposed skin over the nozzles and do not touch the heating element while using warm mist.
  • The humidifier may take 7-10 minutes to warm up before producing warm mist.
  • The warm mist function can be used during Sleep Mode.

Humidity Level Button
You can customize the humidity level that the humidifier will maintain.
The humidifier will automatically stop misting when the room reaches the target humidity level.

  1. Press repeatedly to set a humidity level between 40% and 90% Relative Humidity (RH).
  2. The display will flash 5 times to confirm your selection, then return to showing the current humidity percentage in the room.

Note:
Once the humidity of the environment reaches the humidity you set, the humidifier will automatically lower the level of misting.

You can set a timer between 1 and 12 hours

The display will turn off, and it will keep the original mist level to run. To turn the display back on, press any button except on/off button.

Remote Control
The remote control can be used to control any functions of the humidifier from a distance. It must be within 16 ft/ 4.8 m of the humidifier to work.

Note:

  1. Remove the plastic tab from the remote control’s battery compartment before using.
  2. Replace the old battery with a new 3V CR2025 battery if the power is out.

Aromatherapy Function

Your humidifier can be used for aromatherapy.

  1. Take out the yellow aromatherapy box attached to the air vent, which is at the bottom of the mist tube.
  2. Put 3-5 drops of essential oils in the aroma box.
  3. Place the aroma box back to its original place.
  4. Turn on the humidifier. The humidifier will automatically diffuse aroma when used.

Note:

  • Do not add essential oils, water treatment liquids, or third-party water filters into the tank or base chamber. Only add essential oils to the aroma box.
  • The aroma box can be cleaned and reused after diffusing essential oils

Absorption Pads

The mineral absorption pads help reduce mineral buildup (scale) inside the humidifier, especially on the heating element.

Memory Function

The humidifier will remember your settings for Mist Level, and Humidity Level Warm Mist settings when turned off and will resume those settings when turned back on.

  • The humidifier will not remember Sleep or Timer settings, and the display will automatically turn back on when the humidifier is turned back on.

IMPORTANT TIPS
Your humidifier must have the correct level of water in the base chamber to work properly. If there is too much water in the base chamber, the humidifier cannot create mist.

  • Do not place the humidifier on an inclined surface.
  • Never pour water directly into the base chamber. Only add water to the water tank. The humidifier will automatically release the correct amount of water into the base chamber.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Note:

  • All maintenance should be done on a water-resistant surface, such as a kitchen counter.
  • Change the water daily to avoid bacteria growth.
  • Use a tissue or cloth to clean the nozzles regularly.
  • If not using the humidifier for 1 week or longer, do not leave water inside. Clean and dry the humidifier instead.
  • Never immerse the base in water or liquid. Do not place any part of the humidifier in a dishwasher.
  • Do not use detergents to clean the humidifier
  • You should clean your humidifier every week, and when you’re ready to store it.
  1. Unplug the humidifier
  2. Remove and rinse the water tank cover. Remove the water tank from the base. Pour out any water from the tank and base chamber. If you’ve used the warm mist setting, use caution in case the water is still hot.
  3. Remove the water filter, absorption pad, and aroma box from the base.
  4. Rinse all parts (except the base and machine body) with room temperature water.

Note:

  • When pouring out water, hold down the float to ensure that it does not fall out of the base chamber.
  • Ensure the mist tube is properly installed back to the right position.
  • Avoid to let water into the air vent when pouring.

Descale the Humidifier

(Remove mineral buildup, scale, residue)

  1. Remove the water tank, mist tube ,water filter and absorption pad, aroma box from the base.
  2. Fill the tank with 2 cups of distilled white vinegar(citric acid is ok) and 2 cups of water.
  3. Replace the tank cover and swish the vinegar around the tank.
  4. Place the tank on the base and soak for 15-20 minutes. Vinegar will drain into the base chamber and loosen scale (mineral buildup) in the tank and in the base chamber (including the transducer and float).
  5. Remove the tank, remove the tank cover, and pour out any vinegar.
  6. Place the mist tube, water filter, aroma box in a container. Fill with enough vinegar to cover them. Soak for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Use a soft cloth and the included cleaning brush to remove scale from all parts.
  8. Rinse all parts until any vinegar smell is completely gone.

Disinfecting the Humidifier

  1. Fill the water tank with 1 teaspoon of bleach and 1 gallon of clean water. Reseal the water tank, then gently shake the water tank to ensure all of the sides are coated with the mixture.
  2. Put¼ teaspoon of bleach and 1 cup of clean water into the base.
  3. Allow the solutions in both parts to sit for 30 minutes.
  4. Pour out the mixtures from both the water tank and base. Rinse both parts thoroughly under clean, running water.
  5. Allow the water tank and base to completely dry before reassembling the humidifier.

  • Children are being supervised not to play with the appliance. Instructions include details regarding filling. cleaning and descaling.
  • Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning.

Clean the water tank every 3 days

  • Be aware that high humidity levels may encourage the growth of biological organisms in the environment.
  • Do not permit the area around the humidifier to become damp or wet. If dampness occurs, turn the output of the oil diffuser down. If the oil diffuser output volume cannot be turned down, use the oil diffuser intermittently. Do not allow absorbent materials, such as carpeting, curtains, drapes, or tablecloths, to become damp.
  • Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning.
  • Never leave water in the reservoir when the appliance is not in use.
  • Empty and clean the oil diffuser before storage. Clean the oil diffuser before next use.

Warning:
Micro-organisms that may be present in the water or in the environment where the appliance is used or stored, can grow in the water reservoir and be blown in the air causing very serious health risks when the water is not renewed and the tank is not cleaned properly every 3 days
