Install Corks
- Insert a cork into a hole in the upper chamber.
- Repeat the process with the second cork, inserting the cork in a hole diagonal from the first cork to evenly distribute the weight of the filters once they are installed.
Attach Base Ring
Attach the rubber base ring to the lower chamber. the rubber base ring prevents slipping and keeps the stable on surfaces.
Attach Knob
- Insert the knob screw and washer into the underside of the lid, as shown.
- Place the Knob onto the lid as shown and hand tighten only.
Attach Spigot
- Remove all washers and the hex nut from the spigot.
- Place the washer onto the spigot with the beveled edge towards the outside of the chamber, as shown.
- Insert the spigot through the beveled washer and into the hole.
- From the inside of the chamber, thread the flat washer, then the hex nut onto the end of the spigot, as shown.
- Turn the spigot upside down, as shown, From the inside of the chamber, hand tighten the hex nut.
- Twist the spigot clockwise a half turn while holding the hex nut on the inside to prevent the hex nut from loosening.
- Fill the lower chamber with three to four inches of water to test for leaks. Tighten the hex nut if needed.
Assembly Instruction

Step 1: Wash Your Hands
- Open your package and remove all the parts from the box and place them on to the bench top.
- Before starting, wash your hands and wash all the parts using warm water and light dishwashing liquid, but do not wash the cartridges.
- Wash the lid, upper and lower chambers, the tap and the hole plugs.
- Be sure to rinse everything properly, lightly dry, and place all the parts on a flat surface on the counter top so they don’t roll onto the floor.

**Step 2: Assemble Your Euroguard***
Stainless Steel water Filter- The first step is to install the stainless steel tap into the bottom tank.
- Insert the tap thread through the hole in the side of the water filter ensuring you have 1 x rubber washer and 1 x steel washer on each side of the bottom tank to create the seal. Then tighten the nut with a tool on the inside.
- Fit the black rubber ring around the base of the bottom tank.
- Sit the bottom tank onto the stand.
- Insert the blocking plugs into the spare cartridge holes you are not going to install cartridges into inside the too tank.

Step 3: Prime and Flush your Catridges
- All Carbon and Fluoride removal cartridges MUST be PRIMED or FLUSHED as per the written instructions supplied with each cartridge before use.
- Simply prime the carbon cartridge as per the priming instructions supplied inside the carbon cartridge box.
- If using the Fluoride cartridge, flush as per the fluoride flushing instructions supplied.

Step 4: Prime and Flush your Catridges
- Remove the wingnut from your Euroguard* Rain and City Water Carbon Block Gravity Water Filter cartridge. Insert the cartridge thread through the hole in the top tank from the inside out ensuring there is 1 x washer on the cartridge thread which sits inside the top tank.
- Screw on the wing nut until firm on the underside of the top tank, do not overtighten.
- If you are using the Euroguard* Max Fluoride Removal Cartridge, once flushed as per the instructions, ensure to remove the blue end caps from the cartridge and carefully screw the fluoride cartridge into the thread of the carbon block cartridge once installed.
Do not over tighten the plastic threads on any of the cartridges. You only need to tighten it enough to ensure you have a seal and no water passes around the threads or washers of the cartridges.

Step 5: Put it all Together
- Put the top tank inside ofthe bottom tank.
- Install the knob on the lid. Using a screwdriver, tighten the screw holding the lid knob into position.
- Fill the top tank with water and allow that water to filter down through the cartridges into the bottom tank. Drain the bottom tank of water to waste for the garden. Flow at least 12 litres per cartridge of water through the cartridges to flush.
- Once the cartridges are fillted and flushed, rinse the mineral pad under the kitchen sink tap for 10 seconds to wash any loose mineral fines and place it onto the base inside the bottom tank.
- Your Euroguard* is now ready to use.
- Now you have successfully assembled your Euroguard* Stainless Steel Gravity Water Filter.
