My20 Quick Start Guide
- The Truck Engine Control Module (ECM) must be programmed with your vehicle identification number (VIN). New trucks come this way from the OEM. If you have had an engine replacement, verify with your mechanic that the ECM has been programmed.
- The My20 ELD hardware device must be physically connected to your ECM port in your vehicle, and REMAIN connected to the port except when the port is needed for maintenance. Never connect or disconnect devices to your ECM port while the vehicle is powered on or running (you can damage your truck).
- The first time you device powers on in your truck, download the My20 application from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
- To use the application, you must have an authorized User ID (your registered email address) and password. Your carrier dispatcher (Admin) controls access for your User ID. If you are an independent owner-operator, you input your email and password when you purchased My20 ELD.
- When you have the My20 ELD hardware installed and powered on and the My20 App downloaded and logged in, you will touch on the ELD Status button (top right corner of Logs screen) to scan for the My20 ELD hardware. Once connected, your mobile device will be paired to this My20 ELD hardware and will remember it the next time you are in this truck.
- (Note: My20 ELD hardware requires Bluetooth in order to communicate with your mobile device, and an internet data plan to transmit data from the mobile device to the My20 Tower where your data is stored. Bluetooth must be on, and data available for you to be operating within the ELD regulation.)
