Product Usage Instructions
Mounting the Secure360
- Without removing the Mount Plate adhesive cover plastic, position the Mount with Placement Guide against the bottom center of your windshield and dashboard.
- Verify the placement on the windshield, then fold the placement guide back away from the glass to remove the plastic cover for the adhesive. You can open the live preview of the camera view to assist with placement.
- Firmly press the Mount Plate to the windshield glass and hold for 10 seconds.
Attaching the Secure360 to the Mount Plate
- With the Mount Plate attached to the windshield and the power cord connected to the Secure360, position the Secure360 on the right side of the Mount Plate. Make sure the Mount Plate locking tabs are aligned with their fittings on the camera Dock.
- Slide the camera left to secure it firmly onto the Mount Plate.
- For optimal vision in and around your vehicle, adjust the camera’s position to parallel with the road.
Removing the Secure360 from the Mount Plate
- Insert an SD card with metal pins facing up.
- Slide the Secure360 Dock to the right and carefully pull the camera away from the Mount Plate once you feel it release from the locking tabs.
- Remove the power connection from the rear of the camera.
Minimum Distance Requirement
This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of
20cm between the device and the user.

Q: How do I identify the constant power fuses in my vehicle?
A: The constant power fuses are used to monitor constant power within a vehicle. They will not be switched off after you turn off the car. To identify them, refer to the vehicle manual or consult a professional. -
Q: Where should I mount the Secure360?

Using the Secure360 App The Waylens Secure360 App is the primary interface for the Secure360, providing the driver an easy way to control the camera and access important data it captures.
Access the Secure360 through the App :
- Sync the camera to your Waylens account
- Change Secure360 camera settings
- Update the firmware
- View events
- Playback & share video
Do not read event notifications or use mobile devices to access the Secure360 while operating the vehicle. Park your vehicle in a safe location before accessing the App or reading notifications.
Installing your Secure360 1
Install power in the vehicle
Do not install the Secure360 camera system while vehicle’s accessory power is
on or engine is running.
Direct Wire Installation

Turn off the engine and the accessory power.

Find the location and layout of your fuse box as well as the fuse type from the vehicle user manual.

Connect the red ACC wire to a switched fuse.
- The switched fuse is used to monitor the accessory power such as cigarette lighter, car radio, etc. They will be switched off after you turn off the car. Identify them by referring to the vehicle manual or consulting a professional.
- Verify the fuse is a switched fuse by a multimeter. Pull out the identified switched fuse from the fuse panel. Use the fuse puller tool if available. c. Remove the sleeve from the end of the red ACC wire, and wrap the wire around one of the blades of the switched fuse.
- Reinsert the fuse back into the fuse panel.

Connect the yellow BATT+ wire to a constant power fuse
- The constant power fuses are used to monitor constant power within a vehicle. They will not be switched off after you turn off the car. Identify them by referring to the vehicle manual or consulting a professional.
- Verify the fuse is a constant fuse by a multimeter. Pull out the identified constant fuse from the fuse panel. Use the fuse puller tool if available.
- Remove the sleeve from the end of the yellow BATT+ wire, and wrap the wire around one of the blades of the Constant Power fuse.
- Reinsert the fuse back into the fuse panel.

Connect the black GND wire to a ground point, such as a bolt, that is directly on a bare metal part of the vehicle’s frame.

Verify the Direct Wire connections:

Power on the Secure360 by following step 2 “Connect power to the Secure360 Dock” on page
The camera should then behave as follows: -
The Status LED will turn on immediately after the connection of USB Type-C plug.

One minute later the status LED will turn off as long as the sensors do not detect sound and movement.

The Status LED will illuminate white if the vehicle accessory power is turned on or if the engine is started. It will turn red then while a SD card is inserted

The Status LED will discontinue one minute after turning off the accessory power or the engine.

Check the wire/fuse connections if the camera does not work as expected.

Route the USB Type-C plug of the Direct Wire near the Mount Plate, leaving enough wire to plug the Type-C port into the Secure360 Dock.

Secure any excess wire after the camera is attached to the Mount Plate.
Connect power to the Secure360 Dock
For optimal performance, please ensure the power cord is firmly and securely fitted into the USB Type-C Power Connection. It is recommended to disconnect power from the camera when not in use for an extended period of time.

Insert the Type-C plug of the Direct Wire cable or USB Type-C Power cable.

Turn on the vehicle accessory power or start the engine. The status LED will illuminate white (and turn red then if a SD card is inserted).

Open the Secure360 app and follow the prompts to connect to the Secure360 camera. Open the live preview of the camera view to assist with placement on the windshield.
Install the Mount Plate on the windshield
SAFETY WARNING : Do not place the Secure360 in an area on the windshield
where the product interferes with the driver’s field of vision or other in-
vehicle sensors.
The Secure360 should be mounted at the center bottom of the front windshield,
optimizing visibility inside and outside the vehicle.
NOTE: Do not place camera mount too low on windshield where visibility may be blocked by the vehicle itself, such as wiper blades or raised hood structures.

Without Removing the Mount Plate adhesive cover plastic, position the Mount with Placement Guide against the bottom center of your windshield and dashboard.

Verify placement on windshield, then fold placement guide back away from glass to remove the plastic cover for the adhesive.

Firmly press the Mount Plate to the windshield glass and hold for 10 seconds.

Remove the Placement Guide, leaving the Mount Plate affixed to the windshield.
® Please be aware that certain films on the windshield glass can affect the night vision quality.
Attach the Secure360 Camera and Dock to the Mount Data
- With the Mount Plate attached to the windshield and the power cord connected to the Secure360, position the Secure360 on the right side of the Mount Plate. Next, ensure the Mount Plate locking tabs are aligned with their fittings on the camera Dock.
- Slide the camera left to secure it firmly onto the Mount Plate.
Please ensure the Secure360 is installed properly and firmly attached to the windshield prior to operating the vehicle. Be sure to make any adjustments to the angle or position of the Secure360 prior to operating the vehicle.
Adjust Secure360 Camera angle

Use a coin to loosen the Dock hinge by turning the adjustment slot counter-clockwise.

For optimal vision in and around your vehicle, adjust the cameras position to parallel with the road.

Tighten the Dock into place by turning the adjustment slot clockwise with a coin.
Insert and format the microSD card
To prolong the usage, Waylens strongly recommends using Secure360 App to format the microSD card before the first time use.
Do not remove the microSD card while the Secure360 is recording. (the status LED illuninates red).
Insert SD card with metal pins facing up.
Waylens recommends using a high endurance microSD card (class 10 or higher MLC microSD card 32-256GB) designed for continuous recording situations. While other cards will work with the Secure360, they are much more prone to card errors and failures.
You’re all set
The Secure360 is now operational, protecting your car with 360° vision.
Removing the Secure360 Camera

Stop the Secure360 if it’s recording by pressing the Waylens Button on the Dock or turning monitoring off in the Secure360 App.

Slide the Secure360 Dock to the right and carefully pull the camera away from the Mount Plate once you feel it release from the locking tabs.

Remove the power connection from the rear of the camera.
