Product Usage Instructions

Pairing Instructions
Note: The product is pre-paired at the factory. If re-pairing is required, follow the instructions below:

Transmitter-TX
To pair the transmitter with the receiver, follow these steps:

1. Connect the receiver’s HDMI or VGA port to a display device such as a TV or projector.
2. Use the power adapter supplied with the product to supply power to the unit.
3. Adjust the signal source of the TV, projector, or monitor to the corresponding HDMI port and wait for the device’s power-on screen to display and power on successfully.
4. Plug the transmitter into a computer or other video output device. The transmitter light will start fast flashing. Wait a few seconds for mirroring to be successful. If the transmitter light keeps blinking, use the supplied power cable to power the transmitter with a voltage specification of 5V2A.

Pairing Mode
To enter pairing mode and connect the receiver with the transmitter, follow these steps:

1. Press and hold the receiver function button for more than 3 seconds. A prompt will appear on the interface: “Release the button to pair with EZCast TX. Enter the pairing mode.”
2. Press the transmitter function button for more than 3 seconds. The indicator will flash for pairing. Wait for the transmitter indicator to be always on, indicating a successful connection.

Note: With one receiver and multiple transmitters, one receiver can pair with up to 8 transmitters for switching.

FAQs

Q: How do I restore factory settings?
A: When the product fails, press and hold the receiver function button for more than 5 seconds to restore factory settings.

• If you cannot cast the screen and the indicator light keeps blinking, you need to supply power to the transmitter. (This phenomenon is caused by insufficient HDMI voltage).

  1. Connect the receiver’s HDMI or VGA port to a display device such as a TV or projector.
  2. Please use the power adapter supplied with the product to supply power to the unit.
  3. Please adjust the signal source of the TV, projector or monitor to the corresponding HDMI port, and wait for the device’s power-on screen to display, and power on successfully.
  4. Plug the transmitter into a computer or other video output device, the transmitter light goes into fast flashing, wait a few seconds, mirroring is successful.
     (Note: If the transmitter keeps blinking, use the supplied power cable to power the transmitter. Voltage specification in 5V2A)

Pairing Instructions

Note: The product has been paired at the factory. If the pairing fails due to improper operation or other circumstances during use, the procedure for re-pairing the device is as follows:

1. Please press the receiver function button for more than 3 seconds, and the prompt will popup on the interface: Release the button to pair with EZCast TX. Enter the pairing mode.
2. Press the transmitter function button for more than 3 seconds, the indicator will flash for pairing, and wait for the transmitter indicator to be always on, indicating that the connection is successful.

*With one receiver and multiple transmitters, 1 receiver can pair with 8 transmitters for switching.

Question & Answer

• Q: How to restore factory settings?
  A: When the product fails, press and hold the receiver function key for 10 seconds. After a black screen appears and restart, the factory settings will be restored.

• Q: Can devices without HD interface be used?
  A: Yes, please use the device with HD interface converter.

• Q: How to enter the privacy mode?
  A: Tap the transmitter function key to disconnect or reconnect.

• Q: Why can’t I mirror it?
  A: Please check if the transmitter indicator is always flashing, if it is always flashing, the transmitter voltage is insufficient and you need to use the supplied power supply cable to power the transmitter (power supply voltage 5V2A).
