MOST IMPORTANT

1. This product is only intended for use motor vehicle. Don’t Install the camera where it might block the driver’s view of road (including the mirrors) or the deployment of the airbag.
2.  This camera records video at high resolution, Be sure to use U1 high speed Micro SD card (TF card), 64GB or 128GB cards are recommended. Support biggest 256GB.
3.  Make sure the camera lens is clean and there is nothing blocking the lens.
4.  Don’t leave the camera in direct sunlight for a long period of time or where the temperature could go above 149°F (65℃).
5.  Please pay attention to the installation direction.
6. Always keep the 4K dash cam connected to the power for daily use because it is not a battery-powered camera, it will shut down immediately after you disconnect it from the power. PS: you can connect the car charger in your Car cigarette lighter,  or parking hardwire kit in your car power box, or connect 5V 3A TYPE-C CABLE to use normally.
7. Please open the carplay dash cam’s wifi and bluetooth, then connect your phone’s wifi and bluetooth to pair, then it is quite easy to use.
8. We will send you 2pcs of install bracket, one is soft bracket which fits for all kinds of cars, one is suction cup bracket. You can choose any one to use.

Customers Frequently Asked Questions

1. Camera keeps saying “Abnormal or No storage
   card” after inserting an M i c r o SD card or formatting it in the settings.
   (1)We suggest to format your micro SD card on APP but if you failed to do it on your App, please format the micro SD card into FAT32 format on PC, then insert it into the dash cam and format via App one more time.
   (2)Make sure you are using the recommended, CLASS 10, U3 Speed, and 256 GB max Micro SD card. Otherwise you will get notice of a malfunction.

2. How to use the 24 hours parking monitor function?
   A dedicated hardwire kit is required for this function.
   The 4K dash cam support 24 hours parking monitoring only when it is connected to our hardwire kit (not included in the package).
   Note: This dash cam will activate the parking mode function only when it is connected to our dedicated hardwire kit while other vendors’ hardwire kit is not compatible with it. If you need a hardwire kit from us, please chat with us through the email.

3. Some of video files are missing/ Can’t find videos.
   Our 4K dash cam has a loop recording function, it will delete the oldest files and record newer files when the micro SD card is full except the locked video files. We recommend you to turn on the G-Sensor at low sensitivity which will auto-lock the videos when a collision occurs.

4. Camera freezing/Only record far a few seconds.
   If the camera comes freezing, lagging, or only recording video for a few seconds, this is the Micro SD card issue, not the camera issue Please format the Micro SD card to have a try. using the fake, wrong and bad SD card can also result in this problem.If the problem is still after formatting the Micro SD card, please contact us and we are dedicated to resolving.

CAMERA OVERVIEW

INSTALL THE TF CARD

a.Turn off the 4K dash cam before inserting the TF card
b.Push the memory card into the card slot, until a “dick” sound 1s heard in the card slot, indicating that the memory card is inserted properly.

REMOVE THE TF CARD

To remove the TF card, please gently push its edge inward until a’click’ sound is heard in the card slot, then release your finger and it pops out. Please pull it out of the slot.

REMINDER:
Don’t remove the TF card while the camera is on, the camera will shut down immediately and may cause video damage.

Micro SD card specification requirements

The quality of SD cards has a significant impact on the stability of video recording. In order to safely record videos, please choose our TF Card or large brand SD cards such as Sandra, Kingston, Toshiba, and Samsung. The speed certification must be able to reach at least Class10 U1

INSTALL TO WINDSHIELD

Front Camera Installation

1. Use the suction cup mount to install the dash cam on the windshield, and recommend to be installed near the rearview mirror of the passenger seat.
2. Plug the included power adapter into the car cigarette lighter socket, click the power on butten, then power on.
3. Connect the power adapter and the dash cam, and route the excess cable alongside the interior trim for better beautiful.
4. Start your car, the camera will automatically power on, check the lens angle and coverage, make sure of all functions well works before going on the road.

(After the car breaks down, the device will automatically power off when the car charger stops supplying power)
2.Rear Camera Installation

Below 2pcs of pictures are for out-of-car real camera install instruction, it should be installed above the number plate, screw pad is installed upward, we advice to drill two screws holes to install the camera for durability.
Note:

1. please check whether the real camera is installed upside down before you install screw.

2. please check whether the cable for real camera is enough long for your car before you install it in case of reinstallation.
   Note: Distinguish whether you get the inside car real camera or out of car real camera, both real camera installation method is different.
   

3. the excess RED wire near the real camera is used for reversing. Connect the red wire from the real camera to the power positive wire of reversing light, the parking guide line of rear camera will show when the reverse gear engaged.

4. No need to connect the red wire of real camera with the reverse lights if you don’t want rear guidance when put the car in reverse gear, and the dash cam will still record both front and rear, the screen size is limited and the reversing function is for reference
   only. Red wire function is optional as your will, and all other functions works independently always not be affected.

ABOUT FORMAT THE TF CARD

1. Format the TF card (Micro SD Card)
   After inserting the memory card, the camera prompts “please format the Micro SD card” for the first time your power on the dash cam Please follow the steps below to format it properly
   A.Click the screen “Settings”
   C.On camera settings page, scroll down until you see “Format SD”, then choose “Format SD”, and click ‘Confirm’ to confirm to format the memory card.

2. Format Failure?
   If the dash cam still prompt ”Please format the Micro SD card” even if you have format it via carplay dash camera, please use a PC to format it to ‘FAT 32’fle system then insert it into dash cam and format it with dash cam again, to see if the issue is still. If the issue is still,please get in touch with our email help.
   3.Format the card on the computer as shown in the image below;
   Then place the card in the recorder and format it again before using it(please refer to below)

Bluetooth&WIFI CONNECTION in dash cam and phone

WIFI Name: TF790-087111ce Password: 12345678

1. Dash cam and Phone both open the wifi and bluetooth function
2. Manually Connect the Bluetooth for the first connection
3. Connect the WiFi

Step1: Turn on the dash cam, Click “Mobile Link” to enter WiFi page; Click “ON”, then the WiFi will open.
Step2: Find the wifi name of the dash cam (TF790-087111ce) in the system setting and enter the password (12345678) prompted on the dash cam, then the phone can successful connect the WIFI of the dash cam.

Step 3: Open the “ELooK Pro” App on your smartphone, click “connect device”

You can search ELooK Pro APP to download in your App Store, or scan the QR by your mobile phone. Then download and install the app to support real-time preview and control device functions.

Car dash cam INTRODUCTION

All operations can be set on Carplay dash cam or ELook Pro APP.

1. dash cam Interface
   when you access to the camera, you will see the live time video of the dash cam.
   

2. Check Your Files on App
   Access the “ELook Pro” APP, connect the device, click the”Picture” icon to enter the storage interface, and long press the video file to select download or delete

Warm Tip:
Please be patient If the video you download is in UHD mode, because the file is too large and it takes time to read the data (If you use an iPhone, We recommend turning off bluetooth when downloading)

   Android Wireless / wired Auto usage steps
   Wired auto and wireless auto can be used, wired is relatively simple, wireless is more complex. Wired auto use premise can not Bluetooth first connection, otherwise it will be considered a wireless auto connection operation. That is to turn off the mobile phone Bluetooth, directly use usb wire to access the wire and mobile terminal. If you call to go to the phone, you need to connect to the Bluetooth of the phone. Therefore, wired connection is used as a backup solution.

This issue requires the installation and update of related components (Android auto, Google application, KakaoNavi, Google text to voice, Google map…)
   Some mobile phone systems need to open the mobile phone Android Auto software and then link to Bluetooth to connect to ok.

The Apple Airplay usage steps

1. The car Settings menu selects the Android wireless mirror function

Android Wireless mirror use steps

1. The car Settings menu selects the Android wireless mirror function
   

2. Scan the QR code to download the apk and open the phone personal hotspot (it is recommended to set the 5G band).

L.Wireless Carplay/Wireless Android Auto Connection Tutorial

1. Apple phone, connect for the first time, turn on the Bluetooth of the phone, connect to the Bluetooth of the machine, wait for 5-10 seconds, select the phone pop-up window to use CarPlay car, Bluetooth authentication is successfully disconnected, and the CarPlay interface of the machine is automatically transmitted. Next automatic reconnection (no operation required when the machine’s Bluetooth and WiFi are turned on)
2. Download Android phones with Android auto from overseas, connect for the first time, turn on the phone’s Bluetooth, connect to the machine’s Bluetooth, wait for 5-10 seconds, and the phone’s WiFi will automatically transmit the Android auto interface when it is turned on.
   No sense of operation. Due to version issues with the iOS system, please do not select Connect to local WiFi on your phone. If there is an inability to connect, please manually ignore the connected local TFXXX-WIFI and click Bluetooth again to connect.

2.Automatically stops when recording:

Ensure that Use compatible high-speed TF card with SDHC. A large amount of HD video data requires a high-speed TF card. type Class 10, U3 Speed.

3. There are file errors when replaying a photo or video:

Incomplete files due to SD card storage error. Use the formatting function to format your card.

6.If the dash cam suddenly interrupts during use and the app does not save any content:

1). Turn off and restart: Click the off button on the dash cam and then turn it on again. If the click does not respond, you can directly cut off the power and restart it. 2). Turn off the screensaver: In order to save power and Avoid reflection, the dash cam will automatically turn on and on after setting the screensaver function. Simply turn it off. 3). Check if it crashes: Click the button on the dash cam to see if there is any response. If it crashes, directly cut off the power supply of the recorder, remove the SD card, and then install it. 4). Check if there are any issues with the SD card: It is generally recommended to use the format first and then reuse it. If not, the card needs to be replaced. 5). Replacing the dash cam: If all the above operations are ineffective, it is likely that the dash cam is damaged. Simply replace it with a new one.

7.What if the dash cam becomes very hot during use?

Firstly, please don't worry. Electronic devices that work normally generate heat, such as the familiar computer CPUs and graphics cards, which generate a large amount of heat during operation and require specialized fans for heat dissipation. And the driving recorder is also an electronic device. When driving, the recorder is performing high-definition recording, and the electronic chip is running at high speed, generating a large amount of heat. However, the recorder is not equipped with a dedicated heat sink, which can lead to delayed heat dissipation and the shell may become hot. However, electronic devices have a certain degree of high-temperature resistance, as long as it does not affect the normal operation of the recorder, it is not a big problem.

8.lf the recording screen of the dash cam is blurry during use:

1).Check if the small film on the tachograph lens has been removed and frequently wipe the lens lightly with a soft cloth 2).Regularly wipe the windshield 3).Set the resolution of the highest parameter 4).Set accurate Exposure value: generally, the default factory setting is OK. Increase exposure in dark environment, and reduce exposure in places with good brightness

9.The rear camera of the dash cam does not work :

1).Check if the camera wiring is loose or damaged. 2).Check if the wiring connection of the camera is loose or damaged, and if necessary, replace the damaged wiring or reconnect the loose wiring. The camera is damaged. 3).Replace the camera. The dash cam is malfunctioning. 4).Check if the dash cam is working properly, and if necessary, replace the faulty dash cam. The rearview mirror is too dirty or the camera position is not good. 5).Clean the rearview mirror and readjust the position of the camera.

10.The driving recorder is not clear when used at night.

1).Ensure that the lens film has been removed. 2).Ensure that the lens is carefully wiped frequently. 3).It is possible that the driving area is already dark and not a problem with the dash cam. 4).When driving at night, try to avoid turning on the ights inside the car to avoid affecting the shooting effect of the dash cam. At the same time, it is advisable to avoid driving at night when the street lights in front of the vehicle are too bright to avoid affecting the shooting effect of the dash cam.

11.The G-Sensor is too sensitive to effectively regulate

Suggest setting adjustments in the menu. Generally set to medium or high to avoid detecting or directly turning off emergency braking. If a collision occurs, it can be manually stored. When accelerating, decelerating, or driving on bumpy roads, as long as the recorder is set to high or medium state, the videos are basically saved as read-only, that is, they are all saved without being overwritten. Most dash cams are also equipped with a one button emergency storage function. It is best to set it to low and then regularly format the memory card to avoid storing too many videos that cannot be overwritten, resulting in reduced memory for cycic recording.

12.It is not possible to use or set loop recording in the presence of a hardwired kit.

So it is possible that the wiring is connected incorrectly, or there is a problem with the product. It is recommended to check if the wiring is correct first.

13.Why buy a hardwired kit to achieve 24-hour parking monitoring?

A hardwired kit refers to what we call a step-down wire. The step -down line is connected to the car's power box or battery, and can achieve 24-hour power supply. There is also electricity after parking.

14.If you download the ELooK Pro app,but your phone always can’t enter,

please Restart the carplay dash cam, and restart wifi and bluetooth, then try to enter the app again.

15.When you enter the setting of the dash cam and click any button, fox example Resolution, it tips that “APK is connected, operation is prohibited!”

Normally when you power on the dash cam, please directly go setting, then no problem. So we advice you can setting these steps, so that you can use it in the future.
