OCHAIN∙R active spider different setups

Pedal kickback is measured in degrees to indicate how much the pedals rotate backwards at a given point in the suspension travel. OCHAIN∙R allows the chainring to rotate backwards in order to disengage the transmission from the suspension, improving the whole riding experience and the bike’s performances.
Our engineers defined four setup possibilities, resulting in different degrees of proportional rotation. The defined options are: 4° / 6° / 9°/ 12°.
OCHAIN∙R makes it easy to switch from one setup to another in seconds, using a 2,5 hex key.
An hex key is all you need to disengage the system by rotating backwords the black regulation nut. Same key, now on the central allen seat, and you access all possible setups. Lasered lines are there as a reference for you. Lock back the system and you are ready to ride.
OCHAIN∙R is facing you, mounted on your bike.
Gently clean it dust and mud with a cloth.
NOTE: Please do not use any chemical products to preserve our environment.
The Black Regulation Nut (BRN later in this manual) has two sockets for 2.5 hex key, lasered marks indicate them. Insert the 2.5 hex key in the available socket on the radial face of the BRN, as shown below.
To allow setup modifications, release the regulation system by slowly unscrewing counterclockwise, for as far as an half turn.
IMPORTANT:
Do not unscrew more then half turn to avoid damages to the system and the accidental removal of the Seeger ring.![OCHAIN R Active Spider Mmuscular Bikes

  • setups](https://manuals.plus/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/OCHAIN-R-Active- Spider-Mmuscular-Bikes-setups.jpg)Now the regulation system is released. Remove the hex key and insert it in the socket of the regulation axis, on the central axis of the BRN.
    IMPORTANT:
Never operate on the regulation axis without releasing the system first.
Unscrewing till the end point, the system will stop on the 12° position. Slightly screw clockwise and the system reaches the 9°, the 6° and the last 4° position The lasered graphic shows the order and the reference distance between regulations. OCHAIN R Active Spider Mmuscular Bikes - setups
2Once the desired position is selected, remove the hex key from the central axis and insert it back in the available radial socket on the BRN.
Slightly screw clockwise to secure the regulation system in the position.
The ideal torque is 3Nm.OCHAIN R Active Spider Mmuscular Bikes - setups
