User Guide Wireless Adapter for Xbox
ABOUTXB WIRELESS ADAPTER
This XB Wireless Adapter is manufactured by a third-party company
not by Microsoft. Our Adapter chip and program is the same as the official,
and the quality is a8 good as the official.
When the XB Wireless Adapter shows up as XB ACC (likely with a yellow flag
next to it) when you plug it in, it means that Windows isn’t automatically
installing the driver for the device for whatever reason.
This has been a widespread issue since the official adapter hit the market and
seems to strike almost at random.
Had a adapter on the same computer in a few months, (Our adapter chip is the
same as the official one, so this problem also exists.) The easiest way to
tell if this bug is affecting you, is to Navigate to Device Manager in
Windows(Windows Key pause>Device Manager).
Under normal circumstances.you would see the receiver asXB Wireless Adapter”
under the Other Devices column here.
However, if you’re affected by the bug. it’ll show up as XB ACCinstead.it’l
show a message saying the driver is unavailable

How to connect a controller to my Windows 10 PC with the adapter?
(1) Turn on your PC and sign in., Plug the adapter into your PC, Plug the adapter into a USB slot.
(2) WIN 10: Wait 10 seconds to automatically install the driver.
WIN 8/7: If the system does not automatically install the driver you need to manually install the driver.
(3)Press pair button on Xb Wireless Adapter It starts to flash),indicator light starts to flash.
UF it does not flash, it means you need to install a driver for you PC.
(4)Press the Pair button on top of the controtler (Not the XB button.then the XB button starts to fast flash.)
(5)Wait for pairing. When connected, the LED on adapter and controlter both go solid.
Pair more controllers: Press the pairing button on the Wireless Adapter 1 second it starts to flash, repeat (4) and(5) -
Why does the indicator light not flash when | press the pairing button one the adapter?
It means you need to install a driver for you PC -
How to update wireless adapter drivers?
(1)Plug in your wireless adapter Navigate to Device Manager in windows(Windows Key + Pause/reak > Device Manager). Then look forXxB ACC’.
(2)If you see “XB ACC”(ikely with a yellow flag next to it).
you are experiencing driver issues. Right click it and go down to”Properties”.A window will open,then navigateto tab“Details” Under “Property”, select Hardware 1D
(3)Go to Microsoft catalog update website, where we will download the drivers and manually install them onto the device.One of the hardware !Os from Step 2 should have been what you now see in the search box of the Microsoft Update Catalog website if not. search for your hardware ID here
(4) Download the top driver (should be “Microsoft – Other hardware -XB Wireless Adapter for Windows’). and extract the downloaded file using any number of zip openers to a memorable folder.
(5)Going back to Device Manager, right click”XB ACC” Choose“Update Driver” Select”Browse my computer for driver software” Browse for the fotder that you extracted the driver to in step 4. Then choose “next” After successful driver update, unplug and re-plug the device into your computer. Then hold down the black button on the side,Which should now start slowly blinking Hold down the button on your XB One wireless controller for syncing.and the two should link up.
lf you see “XB ACC*(likely with a yellow flag next to it), you are experiencing driver issues. -
How to fix XB wireless adapter XB ACC Driver is unavailable bug?
(1)Go to Microsoft catalog update website,search “Xb Wireless Adapter”in search box.
https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com Find the version file corresponding to your windows (the driver that does not match your windows will cause adapter to not work), downloaded file to a memorable folder.
(2)Going back to Device Manager, right click “XB ACC’and choose”Update Driver” Select “Browse my computer for driver software” Browse for the folder that you extracted the driver to in step 1 Then choose next.
(3)After successful driver update, unplug and re-plug device into your computer. Then hold down black button on the side,which should now start slowly blinking.
Hold down button on your Xb Wireless Controller for syncing.and two should link up. -
Why can’t my controller connect to the adapter?
(or the adapter is working but is not responding now)
If your adapter was installed and working, but it did not respond after waking your computer. this may be because your USB controller doesn’t have Wake on Wireless turned on by default.
This can typically be managed by the USB controller Driver.
Solutions:
(1)While your windows 10 device is running, unplug the device, and then plug it back in.
(2)If that didn’t work, you can adjust the properties to enable Wake on Wireless.In the Xb Wireless Adapter for Windows Properties window, make sure to select Ailow the device to wake the computer.
(3)Go to your Device Manager.
(4)Select Wireless Adapter for Windows in the Network adapters section.
(5)Click adapter far Windows to bring up the properties window.
(6)Click the Power Management tab.
(7)Select Allow this device to wake the computer, and t hen select OK
Note: Ensure you’re within range (8 meters or less) of the adapter and it’s in line of sight to the controller. -
Why does my headset always have audio issues when using this adapter?
If you’re experiencing audio issues with your controller paired with the adapter for Windows.
Try the following solutions.
(1)Ensure you’re within range (8 meters or less) of the adapter and it’s in line of sight to the controller.
(2)Make sure your controller is up to date.
On an Xb One console: Go to Setting and then Accessories.
Select your controller and see if there’s an update available.

(4)On a windows 10 device: Get the Xb Accessories app from the Microsoft Store. You can update your controller from inside the app.
(5}Note Then Xb Accessories app is only available on Xb One and Windows 10.
(6)Ensure there is no wireless interference, Interference can degrade your wireles. signal, which will affect audio performance.
(7)The headsets only supported under WIN 10 system and not supports wireless headsets. -
Why does my controller often disconnect from the adapter?
Note: If your controller disconnects frequently from the adapter for Windows, this is typically due to environmental issues,such as no line of sight (between the controller and adapter)or a heavy amount of interference,such as from metallic objects.
Try these suggestions to improve the connection between your contraller and adapter.
(1)Make sure you’re within optimal range of the adapter (8 meters or less).
(2)Use the USB extender to bring the adapter ctoser to your controller.
(3)Ensure you have good line of sight between your adapter and your controller.
Use the USB extender to help if needed. For these two devices to talk Successfully, they need the most unobstructed oppartunity to do so.
Move the adapter away from metal and do not set it directly on a metal surface. -
Which is the right driver for your system?
Notice:
XB360 controllers and third-party controllers are not supported Wireless
connection of headphones is not supported.For computers with Windows automatic
updates disabled you will need to manually download drivers to use this
adapter. In view of the tedious steps to update the driver, it is recommended
that you use the win 10 system and turn on the windows automatic update.
