please read this owner’s manual before allowing your child to use their
scooter!

Adult setup required
Each time the scooter is used the scooter should be set up correctly. Ensure adjustments clamps, buttons and fasteners are suciently tightened and secured. Failure to do so could result in injury!
warning
Protective equipment should be worn at all times i.e. a helmet, gloves, knee- pads, and elbow-pads
avoid roads
Not to used in trac e.g. on roads or places with active motor vehicles.
Store Indoors
Damage from exposure to extreme weather is not covered under warranty.
Practice makes perfect!
Riders should develop riding ability in a small private area first prior to
scooting in a public place. This will help to ensure they do not endanger
themselves or others whilst in motion.

Do not scoot on dangerous paths such as oily, wet, sandy, frozen or very
uneven surfaces.
Speed
We recommend that you should not go any faster than 5km per hour in order to
prevent accidents.
inclines & declines
Avoid steep inclines and declines – the brakes may not be effective due to
excessive momentum on slopes.
rain
Do not ride in the rain as this could cause the scooter to slip / loose
traction and will decrease brake effectiveness.
low light
Do not allow your child to ride the scooter in low light conditions
unsupervised and without high-vis attire.

Wheels & Brakes
Wheels and brakes should be checked regularly for signs of excessive wear and
any loss of grip/effectiveness.
Scooter Bolts
Scooter bolts should be checked monthly to ensure none have loosened from
travel vibration or weathering.

If a wheel or bearing develops play, this is an indication of excess wear and
a replacement is required.
modifications
Do not make any changes or modifications to the scooter, doing so will
invalidate the scooter’s warranty.

**Using Your Scooter
**
Brake warning – hot! Brake pad will get hot when used for some time. Warn
your child not to touch with exposed skin.
How-to Opening and closing of the scooter
- To begin, open clasp and loosen pin as required Pull up on the black knob to release pin from horizontal holder recess.
- Lift handlebars until they are vertical.
- Pin and clasp should lock into vertical position recess (some manipulation may be required)
- Tighten pin first as required, then close clasp down.
IMPORTANT!
clamp Tightness
When in vertical position, it is extremely important that the pin and clasp is
clamped tightly. If done correctly, there will be no movement in this joint.
How-to handlebar height adjustment
Lowering handlebar
To lower, open collar clamp and depress the push button to release handlebar.

If the clamp is too tight or too loose when opening/closing, use provided.
