ON / OFF
- To turn the Keyboard on or off, move the switch on the top of the device to the “on” position.
Note: lf keyboard does not power on, please attempt to charge your keyboard & try again.
PAIRING YOUR DEVICES
WIRELESS MODE
- Wirelessly pair your keyboard to a compatible fi Bluetooth host device by holding FN + “1” or “2” keys for ~3 seconds.
- The backlight will turn on for ~3s and then power off after a successful connection.
Dongle
- Connect the included Dongle magnetized to the back of your keyboard and connect to a USB-A port on your host device or compatible adapter.
- Hold FN + “3” keys for ~3 seconds to enable the receiver. The backlight will turn on for ~3s and then power off after a successful connection.
WIRED MODE |
- Enable wired mode by holding FN + “4″ for ~3 seconds. The key backlight will turn on for ~3s and then power off after a successful connection.
Note:
When in wired mode, keyboard will charge at the same time if connected to a
port that supports power delivery.
OS SELECTION
MAC OS
- If using macOS, upon pairing, hold FN + “O” for ~3 seconds. The backlight will turn on for ~3s and then power off after a successful connection.
WINDOWS
- If using Windows, upon pairing, hold FN + “P” for ~3 seconds. The backlight will turn on for ~3s and then power off after a successful connection.
Note: When pairing with Windows OS, pair via Control Panel and not Bluetooth Settings. Satechi keyboards are seen as input devices on Windows operating systems, requiring them to pair via Control Panel.
BACKLIGHT PATTERNS
14 TOTAL PATTERNS
- To turn backlight on/off, hold for ~5 seconds.
- To switch between patterns, press key once.
- Increase backlight brightness using
- Decrease backlight brightness using
- CAPS Lock backlight will turn a turquoise color when caps lock Is enabled.
RESET KEYBOARD
- To reset keyboard and forget all devices, hold FN + Left Control + Del keys for ~3 seconds.
- Keyboard backlight will flash 3 times confirming reset has been completed.
SLEEP MODES
BLUETOOTH 1 & 2 ****
- After ~1 minute of inactivity, backlight will turn off to conserve battery.
- After 30 minutes of inactivity, keyboard will go into sleep mode until a key is pressed.
Dongle
- After ~1 minute of inactivity, backlight will turn off to conserve battery.
- After 30 minutes of inactivity, keyboard will go into sleep mode until a key is pressed.
WIRED MODE
- When in wired mode, keyboard will not go into sleep mode and will not turn off backlight unless manually done so.
CHARGING YOUR KEYBOARD

To charge your keyboard, connect the included USB-C to USB-C cable to the USB-C port on your keyboard.

The backlight on the space bar key will turn red to indicate charging.

Once the keyboard battery is full, the backlight will turn off or turn white if backlight is enabled on the keyboard.
LOW POWER MODE

When the keyboard reaches low power mode, the space bar key will flash slowly (white) indicating low power.

The backlight feature will be disabled to conserve battery.
Safety Instructions
Warning: Fire, electric shock, damage to keyboard device could occur if the
following instructions are not obeyed
- Keep away from microwave radiation source
- Do not place heavy objects on this product
- No dropping and bending
- Keep away from oil, chemical, or organic solvents
IMPORTANT
- Upon pairing, please select correct operating system by holding FN + “O” for macOS, iPadOS, and iOS and FN + “P” for Windows operating systems. Failure to do so may result in your keyboard functioning improperly.
- When wirelessly pairing to Windows operating systems, it is required to pair via Control Panel and not Bluetooth Settings. Satechi keyboards are seen as input devices on Windows, requiring them to pair via Control Panel.
- Mechanical switches are soldered into PCB and are not hot-swappable. Please do not attempt to remove switch from keyboard.
- Keyboard key-caps are removable and replaceable. It is recommended to use a key-cap puller when removing keys to ensure no damage will be done to the switch.
