Product Usage Instructions

Mirror or Extend Display

To mirror or extend the display of your Phone/Laptop/Tablet to your TV, projector, or monitor, follow these steps:

1. Connect the HDMI port of the adapter to your TV, projector, or monitor using an HDMI cable.
2. Connect your Phone/Laptop/Tablet to the USB C port of the adapter.
3. Configure the display settings on your device to mirror or extend the display.

Synchronize Data Transfer

To synchronize music, movies, or large files through USB3.0, follow these steps:

1. Connect your Phone/Laptop/TV/Display/Projector to the USB 3.0 port of the adapter using a USB 3.0 cable.
2. Transfer the desired files between devices at a speed of up to 5Gbps.

Connect External Devices

To connect wired keyboards, mice, or hard drives to your Computer/Laptop/Tablet, follow these steps:

1. Connect the USB2.0 port of the adapter to your Computer/Laptop/Tablet.
2. Connect the desired external device (keyboard, mouse, or hard drive) to the USB2.0 port of the adapter.

SD/TF Card Data Transfer

To read or transfer SD/TF card data to your Laptop/Computer, follow these steps:

1. Ensure that the adapter has an SD/TF card slot.
2. Insert the SD/TF card into the appropriate slot on the adapter.
3. Connect the adapter to your Laptop/Computer using the USB C port.
4. You can now read or transfer data from the SD/TF card.
5. Note: Read one card at a time.

Power Delivery Charging

To charge your Phone/Laptop/Tablet through the PD (Power Delivery) port, follow these steps:

1. Connect the PD port of the adapter to your Phone/Laptop/Tablet using a USB C cable.
2. The device will start charging through the Power Delivery feature.

Precautions for using USB C to 3 HDMI Adapter

1. Extended mode (MST mode) only supports the Windows system to stream different images in two displays. Mac OS does not support extended mode, so streaming on Apple devices to both screens will display the same content.
2. On Mac devices, only mirror mode is supported. It cannot extend two different screens due to Mac OS limitations.

Precautions for using USB C to 3 HDMI Adapter

1. Extended mode (MST mode) only supports the Windows system to stream different images in two displays. Due to the restriction of Mac OS, extended mode is not supported. So streaming on Apple devices to both screens will display the same.
2. On Mac devices, ONLY support Mirror Mode, CAN NOT extend two different Screens, due to Mac OS limitation.

Type C to 3 HDMI MODE

Support Mac OS

1. Mirror Mode: A-AAA (3 monitors’ images will be the same.)
2. Extend Mode: A-BBB (3 monitors’ images will be the same.)

Support Windows OS

1. Mirror Mode: A-AAA (4 monitors’ images will be the same.)
2. Extend Mode: A-BBB (3 monitors’ images can be the same .)
3. Extend Mode: A-BCD/BCC/CCD…(4 monitors’ images can be different.)

How to switch a Mac device to Extend Mode

Setting” →”Display” → click the “mirror display” box to switch to Extend mode→then you can drag a window of the website/movie to the rightest side of your desktop screen until it disappears on your desktop screen and shows up on the external monitor screen.
Important Note: As Apple company itself is limited, for Mac OS devices used in extend mode, the image on the two external screens will be the same.)

How to connect Extend Mode for Windows OS?

• Right-click desktop→ select Intel display Settings → pop-up Settings screen select display→ select multi-screen display→ to expand the desktop (If display 3 is not displayed, please manually select the display→click apply confirm can set OK).
• If one of the displays does not display, How to do it? Right-clickdesktop>Graphics Settings > Select One or More Active Displays.

What should I do when connecting three monitors and one of them does not display?

• This is related to the DP protocol supported by the Type C port on the laptop.
• For example, if your Windows laptop supports the DP1.2 protocol.
• The resolution and refresh rate will be:
• Extend 1 monitor (HDM1): 4K@60Hz
• Extend 2 monitors (HDMI1 + HDMI2): 4K@30Hz + 4K@30Hz
• Extend 3 monitors (HDMI1+ HDMI2+HDMI3): 1080P@60Hz + 1080P@60Hz + 1080P@60Hz If the signal output bandwidth of the connected display is greater than the maximum signal output bandwidth supported by the laptop, one of the displays will not be displayed properly. You need to manually lower the resolution of that display so that all three displays can be displayed.

NOTE: For Intel Graphics Card, it only supports 3 3-screen displays, thus one of four screens (including laptop screen) will not be displayed. For AMD Graphics Card, all four screens will be displayed.

Can’t work with TV, what should I do?

1. Please make sure that your Phone/Laptop is on our compatible list (Please refer to our Amazon product page).
2. Remember to choose the right HDMI channel for your TV input. Usually, for a TV, there are HDMI 1, HDMI 2 even HDMI 3 to choose from. Please adjust it to the right channel.
3. Please try to adjust the resolution of the Phone/Laptop and the monitor. If the resolution is different, the video cannot output normally.
4. Please confirm that there is no content protection agreement in the streamed video. Because some videos such as Amazon Prime Video and Netflix have HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) 2.2, they cannot be streamed.
5. For the Nintendo Switch and The Dex Mode of Samsung phone, please connect the charging cable to the hub and charge the product before connecting it to the TV monitor.

Is the streaming unstable when you connect the device?

1. Please try to restart your Phone/Laptop.
2. Please check the ports of your device. The ports of the Phone/Laptop will incompletely connect due to multiple insertions, this will affect the stability of the video transmission.
3. Please try to avoid using a wireless mouse and keyboard, the wireless devices will interfere with the signal transmission in a possibility because of USB type-c technical limit. If wireless network device have already affected the image transmission. Please set your router from 2.4GHZ to 5GHZ. Or you can wrap the product with tin foil to solve the problem.
4. Please avoid using high-power peripherals to cause insufficient power, which will cause instability in video streaming.
5. Please check again all related equipment and ports. If there is another Phone/Laptop, please try a different Phone/Laptop to see if the issue persists.
6. If the method above can not help you, please contact our customer service in time. We will reply within 24 hours.

Can’t be charged with PD(Power Delivery) Port? (for the type of adapter with PD port)

1. Please use the original charger of the Phone/Laptop. Chargers and charging cables of different brands may affect the charging process of the devices.

Is there a problem with the USB port(for multi-port adapter)?

1. Ipad Pro cannot connect USB device through a USB port, because Apple’s system is closed, so it can only be used in streaming video.
2. Please avoid using high-power peripherals, or insufficient power will cause the USB port to be affected.
3. Highly recommend using a USB 3.0 device.

Why there is no audio output from the HDMI port?

1. Please make sure that there is an audio output function on the monitor.
2. Please set the external monitor as the default audio output device.

Can’t work with NVME Mobile Hard Disk?

1. NVME mobile hard disk speed is up to 10Gbps, But USB3.0 speed only can reach 5Gbps, so USB3.0 ports can’t work with NVME mobile hard disk.

Why does the CPU usage rate become much higher and the laptop becomes hot?

• When working with multiple screens together, a higher computer configuration is required.
• Because the load increases when using multiple screens, if the CPU and graphics card configuration is low, the computer’s CPU usage will rise much higher and the computer will heat up. This is normal.

Other possible problems

1. After putting the Laptop to sleep (idle or closing the lid), the video transmission and USB transmission will be interrupted. Please reconnect the adapter or adjust the sleep time limit.
2. If there is no sound while streaming video, please select the corresponding audio output in the sound card setting of the device.
