Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Test Fit
When the door is closed and the door lock is in a LOCKED position, test whether it fits well between the door edge and the jamb. If the fit is not suitable, use a wooden chisel to make a groove in the door frame to allow the door to close normally.
Step 2: Mark the Location
Choose the location on the interior side of the door for the security door lock. Make a mark with a pencil.
Step 3: Pre-drill Hole
Before drilling the short screw into the oblong hole, pre-drill a hole using a power drill. Close the door and the security door lock to ensure proper positioning.
Step 4: Drill Holes and Test
Pre-drill holes before drilling the screws into the other three holes using a power drill. Test for proper operation. It is recommended to use short screws first. Ensure that your door frame is thick enough if you want to use long screws.

NOTE:
- If the gap between the door edge and the jamb is not enough to put down the mounting plate of the security door lock, you need to use the hammer side and chisel.
- Always PRE-DRILL HOLES with electric drill to prevent screws from damage before installing the screws.
Installation Steps
